I Have Taken Up The Challenge: Khalid Jamil, Mumbai FC Coach
Mumbai FC coach Khalid Jamil was a disappointed man after his side lost their round 16 I-League match to Sporting Clube de Goa, on Monday.

"Very bad [to lose 5-0]," he said. "If we think about it, it will be difficult. If we forget it like a bad dream, that will be better."

There were a couple of decisions that the coach was not pleased with in the first half, and confronted the referees, but Jamil refused to comment on the same.

"This is part of the game. Sometimes it happens. I have said it many times. Now I'm tired. If I talk about it, it is not good. If you forget and start fresh, then you can move on," he maintained.

Khalid Jamil wasn't pleased when James Moga, the Sporting striker, allegedly abused the Mumbai FC coach during the course of the match.

"He (Moga) was abusing my player. I said 'You are leading 4-0, then why are you abusing?' Then he started abusing me in Arabic.

"He came in India to play, and he should show some respect and not to talk about religion. This is not good," the former India international stated.

"This is the main problem. The referee sees a foreigner, and the Indians are left distressed," he added, hinting that the mentality of Indian football is lagging behind.

"I was surprised when he (Moga) spoke in Arabic," Jamil exclaimed.
