Armando Colaco has claimed that Dempo Sports Club is a side to beat ahead of their round six match of the I-League against Pune FC on Saturday.

“Every team has to play well against Dempo,” the 50-year-old told Goal.com, suggesting that his team is enjoying a good run at the top of the table.

Dempo SC are leading the standings with an all win record, while Derrick Pereira’s side have garnered their five points at home.

Armando Colaco went on to alert caution, considering Pune FC’s home record where they are a difficult side to beat.

“Pune FC are dangerous in their own home. They have played a couple of close matches and they will surely be eager to fight and prove it,” urged the Dempo coach.

“We (Dempo SC) have no injuries. The Indian players have also joined back. So we have a full strength team. Tomorrow is a new day and we will again try to create chances and score,” he added.

Armando Colaco also confirmed the status of registering midfielder and Trinidad & Tobago international, “Denzil Theobald will be play only after the second transfer window in January.”
