I-League: Prayag United Coach Sanjoy Sen Complains About Tall Grass At The Nehru Stadium In Goa

The away team's tactician wasn't pleased with the length of the grass at Goa's I-League venue at Margao, although he was "okay" with a point earned...
Prayag United coach Sanjoy Sen feels that the grass was "too long" at Goa's Panjit Jawaharlal Nehru stadium where they faced Sporting Clube De Goa over the weekend.

"The grass [at the PJN stadium, Margao] is too long in some places which is why there was an uneven bounce," he said.

The Kolkata unit drew their first match against Sporting Clube de Goa in their opening fixture of their new campaign, and Sen had no complains with the result.

"I'm okay with the result. The moment Sporting Clube de Goa was putting pressure on us, we scored, but we couldn't score after they equalised [for the second time]," observed the 50-year-old.

"Congratulations to Sporting Clube de Goa," he wished his match rivals after sharing a point with the Goan side on Sunday.

"We were leading 2-1 until the last 10 minutes, but then we conceded due to a defensive lapse which was my only disappointment.

"Overall the performance was okay without Denson and Josimar."
