I-League Preview: Shillong Lajong SC – Sporting Clube de Goa
High altitude battle between the bottom two teams
By Rahul Sengupta
Kickoff: 16:00 IST, Sunday, 14th March 2010
Venue: Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Shillong
Relishing Home Advantage
The I-League debutants entertain bottom placed and winless Sporting. The win over East Bengal in the last round will give them confidence to achieve a similar result in this match and get out of the relegation zone.
Lajong have lost only twice at home and have conceded just four goals so coach Stanley Rosario will be hoping to make the most of their home advantage and take all three points from this.
High Time To Win
A late goal denied Sporting their first win of the season against Mumbai FC in the last round. The Flaming Oranje are six points behind Lajong so only a victory can boost their surival hopes.
Vishwas Gaonkar's side will not be having much confidence but they can take heart from the fact that they avoided defeat in the last two games. It's now or never for Sporting, they must win this or else beating the drop will become even more difficult.

Angelo Colaco- He has been one of the few bright spots for Sporting this season. So he needs to be at his best for the Goan outfit.
