I-League: Chirag United's Edmilson Served A Showcause Notice
Pay for your actions...
By Rahul Bali
The All India Football Federation’s (AIFF) I-League Committee has sent a show cause to the Brazilian forward to explain his action; else he would face suspension for a few games. Edmilson would any which ways miss Chirag’s next game against Mumbai FC after being sent-off after his shameful actions.
Edmilson has a history of misconduct after coming close to exchanging blows with Subhash Bhowmick at East Bengal in the beginning of the current season.
Interestingly, there was an incident of spitting a few weeks back when East Bengal met Mohammedan Sporting in a Kolkata League game and the decision has still not been taken by the local state association.
