The Interviews For The Post Of I-League's CEO Postponed
To think too long about doing a thing often becomes its undoing...
The interviews slated for the post of I-League’s
CEO for Tuesday have now been postponed to the 11th of this month.
Last month, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) declared that the interviews will be conducted on November 3 but as the Indian FA president, Praful Patel is held up due to the on goings in the aftermath of Maharashtra elections, the dates have been pushed off further.
It must be remembered that the search for the above mentioned post began way back in June and since then the matter has hit several blocks for various reasons.
The four men in contention for the post are AIFF’s Director of Competitions, Anil Kamath, Sunando Dhar from Kolkata, former Mahindra United coach, Harish Rao and former CEO of Motherwell FC, Ian Stillie.
One hopes that the interviews do take place as there has been too much delaying on the part of the Indian FA which shall surely frustrate the applicants as well.
