The Nepalese FA have also issued a dossier of rules for media personnel, while the national coach clarifies issues relevant to team members...

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has revealed its pricing strategy for tickets at the South Asian Football Federation’s (SAFF) Championship, hosted by Nepal from the 31st of this month.

The prices are in line with ones that had been previously quoted for tournaments of important magnitude such as this one. The quoted prices are the same as had been set for Nepal’s matches against Northern Mariana Islands, Bangladesh and Palestine while qualifying for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Championship finals berth.

FIXTURES

VIP seats have been quoted at Nepalese Rupees Seven Hundred (448 INR), while the open seating (paraphet) in the stands is expected to cost Nepalese Rupees Three Hundred (192 INR).

The ANFA have also taken precedent in issuing a collective set of rules for the media ahead of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Nepal’s national coach Jack Stefanowski has made clear that Rohit Chand, a lynchpin in the Nepal squad will play in midfield where he has recently thrived.

As GivemeGoal has reported, the fans of the country’s national team had been in a quandary at the role the versatile player would be given ahead of the hosts’ conquest into SAFF Championship territory.

Stefanowski has laid to rest all such suspicions, elaborating that the player, who is a natural centre-back though reared in a central midfield position through most of his club career, would be handed the position he is familiar with in the centre of the park.

He has also vowed to get the most out of Bharat Khawas in the next few days, ahead of the big kick-off, to ensure his participation in the tournament.

The 10th edition of the SAFF Championship begins in Nepal on the 31st of August, with Nepal playing host to Bangladesh.
