Diego Maradona's representative Youssef Haijoub has revealed that the Argentine could take charge of Montpellier this summer.
The reigning Ligue 1 champions are in the market for a new coach due to the departure of Rene Girard at the end of the 2012-13 campaign, and they have earmarked Maradona as a potential replacement.
"There's a 75-per-cent chance that Maradona will become Montpellier coach," Haijoub told InfoSport+.
"Maradona wants to come to Montpellier. I don't think there will be a problem. There will be sponsors behind the deal and a budget will be in place.
"We will hold talks and there will perhaps be a meeting between Maradona and the Montpellier president. Diego is a warrior and wants to coach again."
Maradona has been out of work ever since he left Al Wasl in the summer of 2012.
