Verratti: I want to steal Beckham's secrets
The young midfielder revealed how he hopes to learn from the veteran during his spell in France, while Lucas Moura described the former England captain as "a master"
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti has claimed he hopes to steal the secrets to David Beckham's success during the 37-year-old's time at the club.Beckham signed a deal in January to join les Parisiens until the end of the season, and came off the bench to make his debut in Ligue 1 during Sunday's 2-0 Classique victory over Olympique de Marseille.
Verratti expressed his admiration for the former Real Madrid star after the match, and revealed how he hopes to learn everything he can from him over the coming months.
"During the weeks and months to come, I want to steal his secrets and learn more about him," the Italy starlet was quoted as saying by le10sport.com.
Team-mate Lucas Moura was also quick to praise the former England captain, describing him as a "master" of his profession.
"Beckham is a master, a star. It is a pleasure to play with him," he said. "All the young players on the team will learn a lot from his qualities."
Coach Carlo Ancelotti has already stated that Beckham could start the Coupe de France clash with Marseille on Wednesday, as Verratti is currently struggling with fatigue.
