It is an honour to play alongside Drogba, says Burak Yilmaz
The Ivorian forward sealed move to Galatasaray last month, and his new team-mate is looking forward to teaming up with the Chelsea legend
Galatasaray forward Burak Yilmaz says he is looking forward to playing alongside Didier Drogba for the Istanbul giants.The 34-year-old moved to the Turk Telekom Arena in January after a short spell with Shanghai Shenhua, and the Turkey international is looking forward to seeing his new team-mate up close.
"Drogba is a great player. He is currently adapting, but as I said, he a great player," Burak told reporters.
"I'm proud playing alongside him and I'm going to learn a lot from him. I want to thank the club and the board for making this incredible transfer happen."
Drogba is yet to make an appearance for Galatasaray, but arrived in Istanbul last Friday to a rapturous reception from the club's fans.
