The Stade Rennais midfielder has been punished along with Wissam Ben Yedder, Antoine Griezmann, Chris Mavinga and M'baye Niang for visiting a nightclub before a recent U21 fixture
Yann M'Vila has been suspended from the France national side until 2014, the French Football Federation (FFF) have confirmed in a statement.M'Vila, 22, was disciplined along with Under-21 players Wissam Ben Yedder, Antoine Griezman, Chris Mavinga and M'baye Niang, after they visited a nightclub in between the crucial Euro 2013 qualifying matches against Norway in October.
While the other youngsters have been handed bans lasting until December 31 2013, M'Vila has been issued a more severe sanction, preventing him from representing his country at any level until Monday, June 30 2014, leaving his potential participation at the Brazil World Cup in serious jeopardy.
Both M'Vila and Mavinga were excluded from the Rennes squad for their Ligue 1 fixture with Montpellier in the aftermath of the incident, with club president Pierre Dreossi accusing the pair of displaying "a lack of respect for football, the team and Rennes".
