thumbnail Hello,

The Argentine midfielder says the shot-stopper’s save from Di Natale was key to the Nerazzurri regaining top spot in the league.

Inter moved temporarily top of the Serie A table last night after a last-gasp 2-1 win over Udinese at San Siro.

But the Beneamata had to thank goalkeeper Julio Cesar who made a marvelous point-blank save from Di Natale mere minutes before Wesley Snijder’s stoppage-time winner.

“That’s how this game was supposed to end,” midfielder Esteban Cambiasso explained on the Inter Channel.

“Two minutes before Sneijder’s strike, Julio Cesar made a crucial save that allowed us to win it.

“However, we must not forget that we played a few days ago in Russia and made a long trip that was energy-draining.”

Cambiasso has recently returned to action after undergoing meniscus surgery in August.

“I am happy,” he beamed. “I can’t believe how many games I have already played after the operation.

“I want to thank all those who have helped me after the surgery. I did not expect to play again so soon.”
