Paul Scholes Back In Action For Manchester United
The Ginger Prince is set to reclaim his throne in the centre of the Red Devils' midfield after more than two months on the sidelines...
Paul Scholes has been out of action ever since jarring his knee during Manchester United's Champions League clash with Aalborg at the end of September.
The 34-year-old returned to training around a fortnight ago, and after putting the hard yards he is ready to return in tonight's Carling Cup clash against Blackburn Rovers.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson said in The Sun: “It is a great boost for us to have Paul back as he is such a top-quality player.”
Scholes' return to fitness is a huge boost to the men from Manchester, especially as it was intially feared he would be out until January.
The former England star will go along way toward reinforcing - and reinvigorating - a midfield which has been somewhat depleted since Owen Hargreaves underwent season-ending knee surgery recently.
