Brazilian centre-back Juan has stressed that he is very satisfied to have completed his first training session with Inter since his winter transfer.
After lengthy negotiations, the 20-year-old defender joined Inter from Brazilian club Internacional for an undisclosed fee in the January transfer window, and signed a contract until June 2016 with his new club.
Last weekend's Serie A match away against Roma came too soon for Juan, but the defender is nearing his debut after featuring in Tuesday's training session for the first time.
"I'm a bit tired, but I'm relaxed. I'm happy and content. I hadn't worked out on the pitch for a while, but it all went well," Juan was quoted as saying on the official Inter website.
The young defender then showed his affection to the Inter faithful.
"I want to send my warmest embraces to the Nerazzurri fans."
The defender could make his official Inter debut in Sunday's Serie A match at home against Novara.
