Inter defender Walter Samuel will spend the next two weeks on the sidelines with a muscle strain, according to ANSA.
The 33-year-old was replaced by Ivan Cordoba at half-time in the 4-0 loss to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.
A scan on Tuesday has revealed a second-to-third degree strain to his left quadriceps, a problem that could see him miss up to two weeks of action.
Samuel might return in time for the Champions League last-16 match against Olympique de Marseille on February 22, but will likely miss the club's next two games against Novara and Bologna.
Meanwhile, Fredy Guarin and Wesley Sneijder underwent individual recovery programmes on Tuesday.
