Eelco Schattorie's men will face off against one of the I-League's in form teams in Pune FC and will hope to upset the odds yet again.

A title-contender Pune FC side will face a determined Prayag United team in their round 15 match at Kalyani Stadium today.
This edition of I-Legaue has been a great outing for the Pune side. Their professional team management and a long-term vision has finally started to pay off. They are in the second position in the league-table and will hope to retain the spot. The team is unbeaten for the last 10 matches. A good result in this match will see them sail through the tough Bengal and North-East tour without any hiccups.
The Red Lizards, led well by their coach Derrick Pereira, has displayed good attacking football throughout the season. Their foreigners have performed well along with their young Indian recruits like Jeje Lalpekhlua.
However, the Pune side will miss his services, who got himself injured in the game against Shillong Lajong.
Their opponent Prayag United are certainly one of the most talented sides in the league. They have many match-winners in their side but the team has rarely performed well as a unit this season. They are fresh from a 1-0 win over a formidable Dempo SC. Coach Eelco Schattorie had made a few changes in the last match, likebringing in Sangram Mukherjee for the Indian International Subrata Paul.
The changes worked as they managed to keep only their second clean sheet of the season. The team had
lost the plot after a good start to the campaign. They were second placed after the sixtth round, but have now slipped out of the top five.
Lalkamal Bhowmick has taken the charge of defensive midfielder position, whereas Carlos Hernandez has been a busy man providing the final through-balls. With Ranti Martins upfront, who has scored half of the team’s total goals and is now topping the scorers’ list with 15 goals to his name, Prayag will pose a potent threat to Pune FC.
The recent venue of Kalyani has seen the supporters of the home team come out in huge numbers. However, Pune FC will try its best to continue their winning run as the top spot in the league beckons.
Prayag United: The home team will have more options to explore as the Kiwi striker Kayne Vincent is now fit and expected to be involved in proceedings. He played only two minutes in the last match, but can get more share of playing time in the coming matches. The rest of the team is unlikely to change as the side had showcased good football abilities in their last match against a mighty Dempo side.
Pune FC: Jeje Lalpekhlua is suffering from an injury. He will be missed upfront. The Red Lizards will also miss their defender Zohimiliana Ralte. Caitano Costa and S. Venkatesh had made it to the final eighteen for this match.
