The struggling north east outfit will have a tough time ahead when they host an in-form Prayag United side that is fresh from the success of winning the IFA Shield...

United Sikkim in their first top flight season have had a disastrous campaign having managed only 12 points from the 20 games played. The team had budget constraints from the first day and the dismal display from the young footballers didn’t help them much.
They have had three coaches this season and that hasn't gone down well too. They have managed just a single win so far in the season which has compounded the matters for the north eastern unit. Their performance in the IFA Shield as pathetic to say the least - having lost all their group games.
|Can Nathan Hall escape the wrath of United SC?
Prayag United's confidence will be at an all-time high having downed East Bengal in the IFA Shield final. Coach Eelco Schattorie won his first trophy in the country and shall hope that this success will inspire his side to put in more consistent performances.
They have struggled to find the right balance throughout the season and have blown hot and cold time and again. Schattorie has been focussing on instilling a certain style of play in his side and some results of his efforts have begun to show.
The Kolkata outfit will look to threaten the opposition defence which is the leakest in the league. To contain the likes of Ranti Martins and Carlos Hernandez may prove to be a tough ask for Nathan Hall's side.
United Sikkim: With not much option to choose from, United Sikkim will line up in their usual 4-4-2 formation. It is expected that Nathan Hall will rely primarily on Nurudeen Salau to find the net for his team. Sandhesh Jhinghan is yet to recover from his injury and hence won't make it into Hall's line-up.
Prayag United: With no injury worries whatsoever, Prayag United will field their first eleven against the Snow Lions. Dhanachandra Singh will return to the side after missing out the IFA Shield final.
