• Stade de l'Aube, Troyes
Referee: B. Bastien
• Attendance: 18648
B. Matuidi 65'
90' + 3'
FULL-TIME: ESTAC Troyes 0-1 Paris Saint-Germain. Carlo Ancelotti's side go 10pts clear of Marseille at the top of the Ligue 1 table.
90' + 2'
Beckham picks out Van der Wiel, who in turn links up with Pastore. Beckham again takes possession but Troyes quickly regroup and launch the ball up the field. Unlikely that they'll get an equaliser here.
90' + 1'
CAMUS! Good stop by Sirigu. He saw that pretty late, a bolt from nowhere by the Tunisian international. Shot comes in off his right foot, from distance, and Sirigu forced to tip over the bar.
THREE minutes added onto the end of the second half here.
Pastore hoping to come alive late on (story of his season, really), but backed into a corner. Free-kick PSG, taken by Maxwell. Two minutes plus stoppage time to go.
PASTORE! Late effort from the Argentine who holds off his marker, coming in on the edge of the area on his right foot. Thuram sees it late, gets down and parries it away.
Beckham flights a ball towards Jallet, who does well to deliver into the danger area. Faussurier almost caught in possession, but nevertheless, gets the ball away.
Marcos Dos Santos Ferreira
TROYES substitution - Mohamed Yattara (on) Marcos (off) - the Brazilian forward departs to a chorus of boos. Bit harsh.
Van der Wiel races forward, hoping to connect with Christophe Jallet's ball, but unable to make further progress. Troyes readying their final substitution of the game too.
SUBSTITUTION: Christophe Jallet (on) Lucas Moura (off) - another defensive change, as Ancelotti seeks to shut up shop. Meanwhile, Beckham's free-kick punched away by Thuram
PSG readying their third and final substitution. Meanwhile, they have a free-kick in a rather promising position at the moment.
Camera pans to Kevin Gameiro, who sits in silence on the touchline. He has six league goals, the club's second highest scorer in Ligue 1, and double that of Ezequiel Lavezzi. Are PSG able to dispense with his services?
PSG SUBSTITUTION: David Beckham on for Marco Verratti. Can the Englishman open his Ligue 1 account?
Lavezzi into the book after kicking the ball away. Unnecessary from El Pocho. Meanwhile, further activity from PSG on the touchline.
Yellow Card Ezequiel Lavezzi
Even when they're not at their strongest. the league leaders are showing a new-found maturity, grinding out wins not too dissimilar to the style deployed by Marseille. Pre-Christmas, they might've lost this game.
Substitution - Thiago Xavier on for Benjamin Nivet, as the latter goes off despite an impressive performance.
20 minutes left here, as PSG look to consolidate their lead. No real striker on the pitch, with Lavezzi moving into a more central role. Can Troyes hit back?
Darbion goes down under a challenge in the Troyes box, as the hosts aim to draw level. No penalty, as referee Benoit Bastien tells the Troyes man to get up.
Well, seconds after Gameiro's raging substitution, PSG take the lead. The funny things eh? PSG in front, and provisionally 10 clear of Marseille.
Assist Gregory van der Wiel
Goal Blaise Matuidi
GOAAL! PSG TAKE THE LEAD! It's 1-0 here at Stade de l'Aube, as Blaise Matuidi fires home from Gregory Van der Wiel's cross. Nice finish, slightly undeserved. But nevertheless, the Ligue 1 leaders are ahead.
WOAH! Kevin Gameiro races off the field and kicks a bottle away, raging on the touchline after his substiution. Not enough game time, and it's clear to see he is not happy. Leaving this summer?
PSG SUBSTITUTION: Kevin Gameiro off for Thiago Motta. Strange change from Ancelotti. Their only striker taken off for a holding midfielder.
And at the other end, Lavezzi gets a shot away, but unable to work Thuram-Ulien. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain are readying a substitution.
Good move by Troyes, who send players forward in considerable numbers. Camus' ball in sees Marcos and Nivet aim to get a shot away, but Sakho at the death hoofs the ball away.
Past the hour at Stade de l'Aube, and still no breakthrough by Paris Saint-Germain, who are being ,ade to work by a plucky Troyes outfit.
Pastore makes progress, but is expertly tackled by Faussurier after getting away from Othon. The cross in from the left is easily nullified by Sirigu. Poor delivery.
Troyes require a win to remain the fight to avoid the Ligue 1 drop. The promoted side, sit 20th in the table, seven adrift of Evian in 17th. Similarly, PSG sit seven clear of Marseille, and require a win to boost their title chances.
Lucas comes forward on the right, unopposed as he advances into a decent position. Brechet with the clearance, after a poor delivery.
Camus aims to locate Darbion, advanced in midfield but the referee opts for a free-kick in PSG's favour after Verratti is fouled.
Nivet forced off the ball despite a promising situation, by Matuidi who leads the surge. Lucas however, takes an extra touch before seeing the ball get away from him. Pastore reprimanded for a tackle on Darbion.
PSG substitutes already warming up on the edge of the touchline as David Beckham, Christophe Jallet among them. Troyes have the ball with Yamissi, finding Faussurier on the overlap, but it's dealt with by Silva.
MATUIDI! Superb. Another Verratti move almost sees PSG take the lead. Ball in from the Italian in towards Sakho, headed down in the path of the midfielder, who slices his shot wide.
LAVEZZI! Great save by Thuram. Awkward from Nivet who gives the ball away cheaply. Verratti pierces open the defence, with a long ball for Lavezzi, whose shot is well saved by the goalkeeper.
Trpyes win a free-kick off Matuidi, but again they've settled into the rhythm of the first half almost immediately as PSG counter.
UNDERWAY in the Second Half - Troyes get us started, attacking from left to right this time. Let's hope it gets better.
The sides are back on the pitch, and so is referee Benoit Bastien. We're set to get underway.
Second half soon to start here at Stade de l'Aube. Get involved via Twitter to @mohammedali_93. Can PSG step up, or can Troyes grind out a shock win.
A turgid first half in all honesty, but the hosts have been distinctly impressive with a mature performance which belies their league standing. They've had chances, but unable to finish them, whilst PSG are somehow being kept at arms length. Join me again in 15 minutes for the second half.
45' + 1'
HALF-TIME: ESTAC Troyes 0-0 Paris Saint-Germain.
Yellow Card Florian Jarjat
Yellow card, the first in the game for Florian Jarjat for a rash challenge there. A minute to go in an otherwise stale first half at Stade de l'Aube. One minute added on.
Faussurier intercepts the ball, but Troyes unable to hold onto it. Initially dominating, PSG now lead the possession count 56% to 44%. Lavezzi counters, but Brechet intercepts.
Enza Yamissi again makes progress in midfield, teeing up Nivet. The former Caen star has space ahead of him, but opts to loop in a through-ball towards Othon. Read well by Sakho, who intercepts.
Six minutes to go until half-time here at Stade de l'Aube as Troyes aim to beat the leaders Paris Saint-Germain. The visitors, who have made four changes from the side that drew in Barcelona, do appear a little disjointed.
Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser al-Khelaifi and sporting director Leonardo watching on pensively, as PSG fail again to penetrate the home defence. A frustrating first half for them.
Nivet links well with Faussurier on the right, and with the latter aiming to reciprocate the favour, his ball is over hit as it bobbles harmlessly towards Sirigu. Troyes lead the shot count 9-5.
A rare moment for PSG, as Verratti loops in Gameiro, but the number 24 - who darts past Nivet expertly - looks for Van der Wiel down the right. The Dutch international's cross is over-hit and out.
Fine goalkeeping from the Italy international though it is Troyes who have enjoyed the better chances here. Great movement by Camus to pick up Nivet for the shot.
Jarjat claims possession and feeds Nivet in the heart of the midfield. Nivet on the cut-back and shot towards the near post and it's a fine save by Sirigu again.
Verratti aims to loft the ball over the defence, after being laid off by Pastore, but Brechet at the ready to head the ball away from his goal. Approaching half an hour here.
YAMISSI! Lovely football from the hosts, and Paris Saint-Germain are stretched. Cross in from Nivet finds the captain in the middle, and his long-range effort is well saved.
Yamissi ploughs forward, but loses the ball almost immediately. Troyes start again from the back, as Faussurier races along the right. Good movement on and off the ball here from Troyes, before Thiago Silva intercepts.
Lucas and Maxwell over the bar, but it is the former Sao Paulo star who has a crack, hitting the wall, before the second effort is deflected off Yamissi. Poor really.
Dangerous play from Troyes, as Lucas goes on a mzy run through the middle, before being hauled down just outside the area. Free-kick in a brilliant position, what can they make of it?
Camus and Marco again combine, with the chipped ball headed away by Maxwell. Decent first half so far, with playmaker Benjamin Nivet's quality somewhat apparent.
CAMUS! Saved by Sirigu, and cleared by Verratti. What were PSG doing at the back, unable to clear the ball at all. Troyes should've taken the lead, as Marcos found Camus lurking at the far post, his initial shot parried on the line by Sirigu.
And now it's Paris Saint-Germain who break, at lightning speed, with Pastore and Lucas pulling the strings. The ball is played to Gregory van der Wiel on the right, whose deflected cross lands in the arms of Thuram.
MARCOS! GOOD STOP SIRIGU! Sloppy from Paris Saint-Germain, giving the ball away and allowing the Brazilian forward to post a fine shot goalwards. Sirigu, who saw it late, forced to parry down low.
Enza Yamissi starts the move, bringing in Othon and Marcos, before firing on the half-volley. The Troyes captain is denied easily by Sirigu, who holds the ball well.
Only a matter of time it seems before Paris Saint-Germain break the deadlock as Lavezzi and Pastore attempt a strike. Jarjat in place to nullify the threat, as the hosts embark on a counter.
LUCAS! Superb strike, and even better save from Thuram in goal. The Brazilian dribbles away from his marker, tees himself up before lashing a shot goalwards. Parried by the Troyes custodian.
Pastore races in from midfield, and attempts a through ball towards Lavezzi, who is kept in check by N'Sakala, despite getting past Jeremie Brechet. He is forced off the ball, as Troyes come away.
Nivet spreads play once more, as the former Caen star finds Camus racing down the right wing. The first ball in is poor, intended for Marcos, but dealt with by Mamadou Sakho.
Troyes currently holding their own, and are outpassing their more esteemed opponents. A measured start from Jean-Marc Furlan's men, as Darbion heads well wide from a corner.
And Troyes have a legitimate claim for a penalty too! The referee waves play on as Verratti lumps in one Fabrice N'Sakala inside the box. No penalty.
TROYES HIT THE WOODWORK! Innocuous move from the hosts, as Nivet threads the ball through for Stephane Darbion, who in turn slams it against the post. Sirigu beaten.
Edgy start to proceedings inside Stade de l'Aube, as Paris Saint-Germain struggle to make headway. Good atmosphere nonetheless.
Darbion picks up the ball but unable to manouevre past Lucas Moura at the minute. The hosts have only lost four home games all season, not the form you'd expect of a side rooted to the bottom.
Well worth noting Gameiro has six league goals, with the former Lorient star getting some game time finally. He has double the tally in Ligue 1 of Ezequiel Lavezzi, though misses like that won't add to his tally.
GAMEIRO! Fantastic save by Yohan Thuram-Ulien. Fantastic ball over the top by Marco Verratti into Gameiro, who has time, but the shot is tame, as the goalkeeper parries it away.
Faussurier makes progress down the right, combining well with Camus on the wing, but the ball goes out for a goal-kick. Sirigu to take.
UNDERWAY AT STADE DE L'AUBE! Paris Saint-Germain in their red away kit.
The teams are out, and kick off is almost here!
ESTAC TROYES: Thuram-Ulien - Faussurier, Jarjat, Bréchet, N'Sakala - Othon, Enza Yamissi - Camus, Nivet, Darbion - Marcos.
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN: Sirigu; Van der Wiel, Thiago Silva, Sakho, Maxwell; Verratti, Matuidi; Lucas, Pastore; Gameiro, Lavezzi
No Zlatan Ibrahimovic for PSG, who is serving a one-match ban. Here are your teams:
Meanwhile, bottom side Troyes know that a defeat will almost certainly consign them to relegation. They've only lost two of the last ten mind you, but remain rooted to the bottom of the table. Can they secure a shock win this afternoon?
Fresh from their Champions League exit to Barcelona, described by many as gallant, courageous and hard-to-take, Carlo Ancelotti's Ligue 1 leaders can move provisionally 10 points clear of Olympique de Marseille today, with only 18 left to play for.
