Swansea - Wigan Preview: Laudrup looks to end winless streak against Latics

Ahead of a sequence of tough fixtures, the Swans look to end a five-match run without success against Roberto Martinez's side, who have also failed to pick up a win in five games

Swansea are without regular left-back Neil Taylor (ankle) through long-term injury, 19-year-old Ben Davies is set to continue in his place having done so for Wales over the international break, with newly signed Dwight Tiendalli another option.

Centre-back Kyle Bartley (thigh) is also out with a long-term issue that might not see him return until the New Year.

Roberto Martinez saw many of his squad go away on international duty but has suffered no casualties, although he is still without Antolin Alcaraz (groin), so Maynor Figueroa is set to continue on the left of a back three with Jean Beausejour at left wing-back.

Playmaker Shaun Maloney is likely to start alongside striking duo Franco Di Santo and Arouna Kone, while Jordi Gomez could feature at some point. Midfielder Fraser Fyvie (ankle) is doubtful.
