Sunderland were less fluid than Swansea, and struggled to carve out any chances of note - Swans keeper Tremmel didn't make a save in the entire game. Martin O'Neill will be looking to add to his strike force, and Danny Graham could be the player to get the Black Cats firing again.
FULL-TIME! That's it, it's all over. The teams share the spoils. Swansea played some lovely football, and ought to have scored after carving out several brilliant chances, but they extend their unbeaten run in the league to seven matches.
90' + 3'
CHANCE! De Guzman floats in a cross which is headed, beautifully, into the path of Graham by Michu. The forward is five yards out and smashes a shot at goal, but Bramble arrives out of nowhere to make a superb block. He's earned his side a point there.
90' + 2'
Sessegnon drifts towards the channel, scrapping to find space, but is tackled by Davies. The attacker fouls the Welsh full-back after losing possession and the attack fizzles out. The Black Cats haven't had a shot on target yet.
Sessegnon is gobbled up by three white shirts and Swansea can surge forward once more. Michu feeds Tiendalli and the right-back curls a left-footed shot towards the goal which sails just wide of the far post.
Swansea are pushing forward now. Dyer tries to dribble into the box, and O'Shea's tackle-cum-block almosts falls into the path of Graham, but Gardner clears and Sunderland escape.
De Guzman floats in a deep cross towards the back post which is headed towards goal by Chico - the Spaniard has been everywhere tonight. Mignolet plucks the ball out of the air and launches a counter, but Swansea are able to curtail the threat.
Chico is bravely soldiering on, while Martin O'Neill has thrown on Connor Wickham in search of a winning goal. The match could go either way at the moment, though neither keeper has been forced to make a save of note in the second half.
Chico Flores is injured and receiving treatment. Swansea, having used up all their subs, could be down to ten men if he can't continue.
CHANCE! Hang your head Nathan Dyer. Swansea win possession and break with speed and verve. Michu carries the ball into the box before squaring the ball for Dyer, but the winger places his shot wide of the near post from close range. He has to at least hit the target there!
After lots of penalty box tussling between O'Shea and Chico, Larsson is eventually able to whip in a cross, but it doesn't beat the first man. Swansea break, but the counter-attack come to an abrupt end when Lamah miscontrols the ball.
Michael Laudrup has made an attacking move, throwing on Graham in place of Britton. The Gateshead-born striker is booed by the home crowd, even though he could sign for them in the next couple of days.
Yellow Card James McClean
McClean jinks his way forward and is brought down by Chico, but, rather than award a free-kick, the referee gives the Irish winger a yellow card for diving. He was looking for it.
Sunderland have grown into the match and look the more likely to find a winner now. McClean bursts down the left flank and floats in a cross, but it is too high for Fletcher and Davies is able to clear.
Sung-Yueng Ki takes aim from 25 yards, its a fierce shot but unfortunately its straight at the Sunderland keeper. Better from Swansea.
Sunderland have been much improved in this second half, passing the ball around with ease now, but failing to find that end product.
Another free kick wasted by Sunderland, and once again it is Craig Gardner, who scuffs his attempt wide.
Cracking effort, Mignolet scampers across his goal line as he watches the ball skim the roof of the net.
De Guzman with free kick for Swansea in a threatening position...
Yellow Card Leon Britton
Larsson with another wasteful free kick delivery. Frustrating stuff for the defenders who are running the length of the pitch, just to have to sprint back as the away side attempt to counter.
Promising start to the second half from Sunderland. The back four have pushed up and we've already seen an improvement to the home side's passing game.
And we're back underway here at The Stadium of Light. No changes from either side. Let's have some goals.
Sunderland manager Martin O'Neil will just want his side to keep hold of the ball in the second half. We saw some very sloppy passing from the home side in the opening 45 minutes.
We will have to see if Swansea's defenders push forward as much in the second half, perhaps manager Michael Laudrup will be having a quiet word with the back four in the changing room.
Steven Fletcher is looking a bit frustrated this evening for The Black Cats. The striker just wasn't getting the service in the first half.
Half time here at The Stadium of Light. Still no goals but the Welsh side are looking most likely to break the deadlock.
Swansea's Ashley Williams is involved in a nasty clash with John O'Shea, but after a bit of magic spray on the sidelines the defender is back on the field.
Apologies, it was Craig Gardner taking that free kick. As you were...
Adam Johnson takes the resulting free kick, and absolutely skies it. He must have this weekend's Six Nations on his mind.
Very clumsy foul from Chico Flores on Sessegnon. Lucky to escape a yellow card there.
Swansea defender Ben Davies finds himself in the Sunderland penalty box, but the youngster is eventually penalised for a hand ball. The Welsh side are not afraid to commit players forward.
Swansea have dominated the possession in this first half, but are just lacking that finishing touch.
Craig Gardner does well to fill in at the back and swipe the ball from Michu's feet. The resulting throw is wasted by Chico Flores, who attempts a speculative strike from 30 yards.
Sunderland look to counter through Fletcher and Larsson but Jonathan De Guzman draws a foul from Steven Fletcher. Free kick to The Swans.
Adam Johnson bends a freekick into the Swansea area, but Michu acts as the last man and heads the ball away to safety.
Yellow Card Dwight Tiendalli
Swansea are passing the ball around beautifully at the moment, Sunderland are looking a bit lethargic this evening.
Chico displays some wonderful footwork as he makes his way into the box but his cross is cleared. Swansea starting to pile on the pressure..
A tight first 15 minutes, each side seem happy to hold the ball in the middle of the park
For Swansea, the big news is that striker Danny Graham starts from the bench amid speculation that he could be leaving the Swans. Possibly for Sunderland, who knows? Michu starts with hopes of ending his goal drought this evening.
So Carlos Cuellar remains sidelined with a hamstring injury and doesn't even make the Sunderland bench. Lee Cattermole also not featuring this evening for The Black Cats, suffering with a knee injury.
Swansea: Tremmel; Tiendalli, Williams, Chico, Davies; Britton, De Guzman; Hernandez, Michu, Dyer; Shechter. Subs: Cornell, Bartley, Ki, Lamah, Rangel, Routledge, Graham.
Sunderland: Mignolet, Gardner, O'Shea, Bramble, Colback; N'Diaye, Vaughan; Larsson, Sessegnon, Johnson; Fletcher. Subs: Bardsley, Wickham, Kilgallon, Mangane, McClean, Elmohamady, Westwood
The teams are lining up as follows...
Swansea are also enjoying a decent run of form and will be on a high after progressing into the Capital One Cup final, but The Swans are yet to win away from home in 2013
The Black Cats will be in search of a third consecutive league victory as they look to distance themselves from the feisty battle for survival at the foot of the table.
