Shillong Lajong were the on the receiving end of a Mumbai FC backlash as they slumped to a 4-1 defeat to Khalid Jamil's team. Lajong coach Desmond Bulpin was critical of his side's performance and will be demanding that his team respond when Churchill Brothers pay a visit.
Lajong have been impressive at home losing only to Sporting Clube de Goa in October. Bulpin will look to make changes to the team that put up a poor show at Mumbai. Defensively Lajong were all over the place and presented many goal-scoring chances to Khalid Jamil's side. This will need to be sorted by Bulpin if they are to last against Churchill's quality attack.
Churchill Brothers, on the other hand, will be smarting after a heavy defeat to East Bengal. Mariano Dias' side will need to pick themselves up as they will be up for a tough physical battle in Shillong Lajong.
Churchill possess one of the most deadliest strikers in Akram Moghrabi who has scored four goals in six matches. But the Goan side have also been defensively susceptible having conceded 7 goals. Churchill will have to dig their heels in if they are to come away with anything.
Shillong Lajong FC: Minchol Son and Ebi Sukore return from their injuries and are available for selection. It will be interesting to see whether Bulpin does make any wholesale changes to the side that lost to Mumbai FC
Churchill Brothers: Mariano Dias will in all probabilities go with the same team that lost to East Bengal sans Beto as he is suffering from a knock.
