The All India Football Federation (AIFF)'s developmental side travel to the north-east for a stern test of their capabilities when they face Desmond Bulpin's Shillong Lajong...

Shillong Lajong's terrific home record was undermined last weekend when Churchill Brothers came away with a hard-fought 0-1 victory. The Scot saw his team resorting to punting the ball up the pitch in hopes that the strikers would hold it up and bring the midfielders into play.
This approach failed and Bulpin will need to find a way to tackle the attack-minded football played by Arthur Papas' Pailan Arrows who are proving doubters wrong every passing day. The defeat to Churchill was Lajong's third in a row and Bulpin will have to ensure that his side give it their all to arrest this slide. They were lucky in the last game as Sushil Singh wasn't sent-off at the end of the first half and it's about time that the former East Bengal striker finds his scoring boots again.
Arthur Papas' Pailan Arrows side have impressed one and all this season. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) developmental side have been transformed into a fast-paced and attacking unit under Papas' guidance. Their vital win over Sporting Clube de Goa in the last round sees them in seventh place in the league table with 11 points and only separated from Mohun Bagan on goal difference.
The Arrows have scored 7 goals and conceded as many. Papas' will have to figure out a way to keep things tight as the young side will be up against a physical team in Shillong Lajong in the cool climes of the north-east.
Shillong Lajong FC: Coach Desmond Bulpin welcomes back centre-back Govin Singh after he missed the previous game against Churchill Brothers due to an injury. The rest of the team is likely to remain unchanged.
Pailan Arrows – Coach Papas will most likely go with the same team that earned three points in Goa against Sporting without any injury or suspension worries.
