That's your lot, another Saturday full of la Liga football has come to end and you can read it all in our la Liga round-up article which you can find on La Liga homepage. Madrid are most definitely not low on confidence after the defeat against Barcelona and they will be heading into the New Year top of La Liga. Can they do it, oh yes they can. It's yours to lose Mr. Mourinho.
90' + 2'
6-2. Full-time. Stunning. Fast. Frantic. Controversial. What more do you need from your Saturday night?
90' + 1'
90' + 1'
GOAL!!! Never ending this one, as ALVARO NEGREDO slides in goal number eight of the night, only problem for Sevilla is that it is their second...same result as last season it seems.
Assist Xabi Alonso
Goal Hamit Altıntop
GOAL!! Moments later, Ronaldo plays the ball wide to Alonso whose pass is expertly hit into the path of Altintop who turns home his first goal in a Madrid shirt since his summer move. Simples.
Ronaldo is about to bag is fourth after rounding Javi Varas, but the 'keepers outstretched foot brings the No. 7 down. Clear penalty, but because it is the 87 minute, Real Madrid are going to easily win the referee doesn't give it. Disgusting refereeing there.
Benzema did appear to be in some pain following Fazio's challenge (who, coincidentally wasn't even booked) with the Frenchman brought off for Altintop - precautionary we are told.
Penalty Goal Cristiano Ronaldo
Up steps Ronaldo...GOALLL! He plays it low to left of the 'keeper who guesses the right way but it squirms through his hands to give the Madrid star his hat-trick.
PENALTY! Ronaldo's heavy touch luckily falls to Benzema who has a clear sight of goal but for Fazio's challenge which brings the Frenchman down.
Xabi Alonso steps up to swing in a free-kick, but instead plays it low toward Lass who opts to take a touch which allows the Sevilla players to rush his shot inevitably dragging it wide as a result.
Sevilla go 3-4-2 as they somehow try and salvage something from this match, but Madrid are continuously threatening on the break with a last ditch challenge required from Fazio to deny Ronaldo.
And the team in red are happy to do the same, forcing Sevilla to chase and hoping to create gaps in the home sides defence until Raul Albiol plays it long giving the ball back to Marcelino's side.
Easy from Madrid. One, two-touch football around the halfway line keeping the ball away from Sevilla before Xabi Alonso looks to find Lass on the far side but Fazio is strong in defence and mops up.
Navas gets another cross into the area which asks questions of the Madrid defence, but Arbeloa is up to the task and heads behind for a corner kick. Wasteful once more from the set piece as Kanoute gets too much purchase on his flick on.
KANOUTE! World class control on his chest takes the ball away from Ramos in the area but he slashes across his shot and gets well wide. Shame.
Xabi Alonso then comes in with a similar tackle, and not only does he not see red he isn't even booked. Consistency, that is not.
Red Card Manu Del Moral
MANU IS SENT OFF!! He catches Arbeloa from behind in what appears to be a nothing more than a trip but the referee doesn't delay in bringing out the red card. Talking point.
Benzema with a delightful pass into toward Ronaldo who is searching for yet another hat-trick and the delivery is so, so close to being perfect. As it is, Sevilla just manage to keep Ronaldo out and they go up the other end in search of their second goal.
Goal Jesús Navas González
JESUS NAVAS!! 4-1!!! Superb team goal from Sevilla, they work the ball along the lines with Kanoute heavily involved, before Campana shifts the ball onto Navas who strikes the ball across goal and it goes in off the upright. Perfectly placed, and it's 4-1.
Ángel Di María
Assist Karim Benzema
Goal Ángel Di María
GOAAALLLL! 4-0! DI MARIA!!! Superb goal, Benzema slips the ball in behind Sevilla's defence into the path of the Argentine who makes no mistake with just Varas to beat. He takes the ball closer and closer to the goal before curling it around the 'keeper with the outside of his left boot. Easy.
A crossfield pass has Marcelo in danger with Navas lurking behind with the Brazilian opting to play the ball back to his 'keeper which the Sevilla captain reads but can't quite get there in ahead of Casillas.
Yellow Card Fred Kanouté
Javi Varas is forced into action once again, with Ronaldo the man again behind Madrid's attack but Sevilla still look the most likely to grab a goal here as the challenges come flying in on the edge of the Madrid area with Ramos eventually drawing foul from Kanoute.
Medel comes together with Arbeloa in the penalty area with the Sevilla man wanted a penalty, nothing doing says the referee. What proceeded was a neat passage of play, with the Chilean playing the ball into Negredo whose neat flick tried to find Medel again.
Ronaldo drives at Spahic once again as he attempt one or two step-overs before hitting the ball at goal but he was off balance and shots wide of the target.
Sevilla come again, Raul Albiol with a strong header clear falls to Medel a far distance from goal but he still tries an effort on the half-volley which has Casillas scrambling. Wide in the end.
Kanoute plays the ball to Negredo whose first time pass looks to return the ball to his new strike partner but he former Tottenham man lacks the pace to catch up with the ball which runs across the box before Marcelon cleans up.
Javi Varas collects a hanging cross and releases the ball quickly to Navas, but this time Marcelo does his defensive duties admirably clearing into touch.
It's that man, Navas, again who sends a deep cross into the area this time Rakitic has space at the far post and he opts to hit it on the half volley but finds a resolute Casillas who gets down well to save. Big, big chances these for Sevilla.
Navas engineered himself some crossing space on the near touchline and he sends in a wonderful cross but Casillas is alert enough to punch the ball clear, earning himself a knock in the process for his troubles.
Yellow Card Lassana Diarra
Ronaldo strikes the resulting set piece into the wall, with it nearly falling kindly to Di Maria who had followed the ball but it reached Javi Varas before the No. 22 could get there.
Yellow Card Emir Spahic
Ronaldo is Messi-esque there, he picks the ball up in his own half before putting his head down and running at the Sevilla defence he manages to touch the ball beyond Spahic and Medel and would be one-on-one but for being brought down illegally.
Navas plays a half decent cross into the area which Negredo turns into a superb cross as he volleys it back across goal but no Sevilla attacker gambled with a run to the near post allowing Casillas to take the ball unchallenged.
...as I say that Benzema is sent clear by Ronaldo's pass but the Frenchman's run was a tad early as the flag goes up.
Slower start to the half, you feel as if Madrid are going to try and kill the tie by stopping Sevilla rather than going for a fourth goal...
Marcelon with a loose pass gives Caceres the chances to bring the ball forward. The defender leaves it for Rakitic who attempts to find Kanoute with a deep cross field pass but Ramos is first to it and clears the dangers momentarily.
Kanoute replaces Trochowski for Sevilla as the home side go in search of dragging themselves back into this game, certainly a new dimension now.
The eleven men are back out for Sevilla, whilst the ten of Madrid trudge back on for a what is likely to be a fast paced 45 minutes of football. Here. We. Go.
On the wonderful world which is Twitter, @damndoc predicts a 4-1 win for Real Madrid; that is still on the cards.
Wow. Stunning 45 minutes of football. Something special. What are your thoughts, can Sevilla rescue something from this game following Pepe's late red in the first half, or have Madrid done enough with those three goals. Tweet your thoughts, @dquintonnavarro

45' + 1'
And that's the half. 3-0 to a Madrid side, that hardly deserve it. But then again in this game, all that matters is goals.
Callejon is sacrificed for Raul Albiol who will slot into the central defensive role alongside Ramos, with the free-kick still to come. Rakitic sends it in, but once again it comes to nothing. Can't keep wasting these chances, Sevilla.
Yellow Card Arbeloa
PEPE IS OFF! Negredo is looking to run in behind the Portuguese defender who sends out a flailing hand which catches the Sevilla man in his face, and the referee doesn't hesitate in showing Pepe his second yellow card of the game.
Assist Karim Benzema
Goal Cristiano Ronaldo
GOOOAAALLLL!! WHAT A STRIKE FROM RONALDO!! Benzema touches the ball to Ronaldo, who is 25 yards from goal, and Sevilla gift the Portuguese man too much space and he takes his time to pick his spot and unleashes an unstoppable drive into the top corner. 3-0.
For the first time tonight the atmosphere has fallen a little flat, Madrid will take heart from that. Even so, Sevilla come again and earn another corner. Again it comes to nothing with Real given a chance to counter but two wayward passes slow it up and they fail to make it count, with Ramos angry at the poor accuracy.
Assist Ángel Di María
Goal José Callejón
GOAL!!! GOAL!!! Out of nothing Di Maria sends a deft touch over the Sevilla defensive line and Callejon gets in behind with a perfectly timed run and the slightest contact helps the ball evade Javi Varas and nestle in the back of the net. 2-0.
Another corner for Sevilla. It is a man in white that gets the first header in the muddle of players (impossible to tell who!) but there is nobody challenging the second ball and Casillas takes the ball out of the air.
Better delivery this time, and Spahic gets there ahead of Casillas and after the ball ping-pongs around in the area its put in the back of the net only for the flag on the far side to be raised. Correct decision.
Yellow Card Sergio Ramos
There hasn't been a moments rest in this match, as Ramos is next in the book giving Sevilla the chance to deliver a cross. Nothing comes of it, but they'll have another go after Callejon fouls Rakitic.
Clever free-kick from Rakitic chipped forward to Spahic who is proving a danger from set pieces but his touch acts more like a clearance, anything better and he would have had a chance to level the match. The ball then came back across and Negredo spun away from his man bringing the ball down on the turn as he went, his cross come shot should be put home by Manu but he puts it past the post, he was offside but even still - he didn't know that.
Yellow Card Pepe
Arbeloa moves forward as he looks to get the ball back from Benzema but the ball was behind the full-back and Sevilla look to exploit the gap he left behind. Manu is found with a superb pass and the midfielder runs at Pepe before drawing the foul.
Spahic intercepts Lass' forward pass but it only goes as far as Benzema who should put the Sevilla defence under pressure, but the Bosnian defender makes a decent tackle to clear the danger.
Ramos is assured in the central defensive role alongside Pepe, as he coolly touches the ball onto Marcelo under pressure from Rakitic.
Ronaldo's touch lets him down, albeit the ball was coming at him at some speed of the boot of Navas but has the former Manchester United man taken it in his stride it would have brought about an interesting scenario. As it was, he didn't and he'll have to make do with a throw-in instead.
Atmosphere is matching the football. Frantic, hectic, fast, aggressive. Superb football so far.
Corner is delayed as Medel is hugging, literally hugging Xabi Alonso the area. When it finally comes across Sevilla clear with ease.
Madrid are happy to play at the level of intensity that Sevilla are enforcing, not looking to slow the pace of the match down by any means. Lass steams in to the challenge and gets the ball ahead of Medel, four-on-four results but Callejon has to cut back, somehow Di Maria digs a pass to Benzema but his angled drive is deflected over the top.
Yellow Card Ivan Rakitic
8.5 - Di Maria. It isn't a dive as he is caught, by the smallest of touches. But what follows is plain comical. The Argentine screams out in agony, clutches his right shin and rolls, not once, not twice, not thrice but four times. Rakitic is booked, hmmm.
Madrid this time enjoy a decent spell deep in Sevilla's half as they work the ball around with Jose Callejon involved heavily but the attack comes to nothing.
Sevilla have three consecutive corner kicks, all causing problems in the Real area but the capital club escape with their lead intact after Caceres heads over.
Manu looks to stretch the game by pulling out wide, decent spell of possession here for Sevilla. Navas has the better of Marcelo on the far side as he teases him before laying the ball back to Trochowski who hammers one toward the bottom corner but Casillas is there again to push it around the post.
Truly remarkable start to this match at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan with the attacks on top, Sevilla come again after Pepe misplaces a pass but Medel just cannot find Rakitic who found some space on the near side.
STUNNING SAVE! How Sevilla are not level is beside me. Jesus Navas drives a low cross which misses everyone and present a simple tap in for Manu at the back post but his finish is acrobatically kept out by Casillas who flings his body across the goal to push the ball onto the post before seeing it slashed clear by Pepe.
Assist Ángel Di María
Goal Cristiano Ronaldo
GOAL! RONALDO! Di Maria is the provider once again, the Argentine plays it between full-back and central defender into the path of Cristiano Ronaldo who side foots the ball past a helpless Varas in the Sevilla goal.
BENZEMA! Di Maria and Benzema combine with a superb one-two and the Frenchman looks to angle a low drive into the opposite corner but Javi Varas makes a decent save with his foot. Di Maria comes in on the rebound but the Sevilla stopper is up quickly to save again.
Real look to work the ball out from the back, and Ramos does well under pressure from Negredo but despite his good work Lass holds onto the too long and Sevilla are given a decent chance but the No. 9's touch a tad heavy and Madrid clear.
In a hectic start to the match there haven't been any real chances to tell you about. Madrid have shifted the ball forward well but unable to find anything in that final third.
Sphaic delivers the free-kick but it is cleared away, only as far as Trochowski whose volley is well hit and deflected behind for a corner kick which comes to nothing.
Arbeloa clashes with a Sevilla defender leaving the former Liverpool man grounded but the referee isn't fussed. The home side quickly break with Navas and Negredo offering the attacking threat before Manu is uprooted.
Ronaldo combines with Callejon by a superb reverse pass and the youngster looks to drive the ball across goal but Caceres was there to clear the danger.
Di Maria attempts to a long ball toward Marcelo who was bursting forward on the far side but the Argentine's pass is well intercepted.
Let it begin. Madrid, sporting a red kit, get us under way and begin by calmly passing the ball along the back four.
It's nearly, so nearly time. Casillas and Jesus Navas preside over the coin toss in the middle of the pitch, as their respective team mates stoke a ball around between them.
Our Goal.com experts have chipped in tonight with a wee prediction; "Expect a tough midfield battle with the home side perhaps grabbing a goal, but Jose Mourinho's men should earn a comfortable victory, 3-1 the final score." Agree? Tweet your predictions, @dquintonnavarro.
FACT: Expect a winner. In the last 12 league encounters between Sevilla and Real, one teams has been victorious. 7-5 in favour of los Blancos.
Anonymous on Goal.com: "This is not a Barca game, so we will be playing 11 vs 11, not 11 vs 15. 0-5 for Real Madrid, Benz (2) CR7 (2) and Xabi from a rebound." Confidence.
In a similarly disappointing result, Real Madrid lost the first el Clasico of the season against a well disciplined Barcelona side. Andres Iniesta proved a major asset for the Catalan giants helping them run out 3-1 winners at the Bernabeu.
Sevilla, currently fifth in la Liga will be hoping to recover from a damaging 1-0 defeat to Levante last weekend, a result that leaves the Andalusians five points adrift of the Champions League spots.
