Derrick Perreira's Pune FC travel to Goa as they hope to pile more misery on David Booth's Salgaocar who are still looking for their first win under the Englishman.

David Booth must be wondering just what he must do to get a win under his belt. The 64-year old Englishman has overseen a winless streak that goes back to five games for the Goans. To be fair to Booth, the Greens have been beaten narrowly in all the matches that the club lost with the exception of the 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Mohun Bagan. Last weekend it was a repeat of that trend as Armando Colaco's Dempo squeezed past Salgaocar to go top of the I-League table. Defensively, the Goans have looked very suspect, a fact that was acknowledged by Booth who felt that his team were not getting the basics right.
Pune FC on the other hand will have felt hard done by after conceding two late goals in the game against Mohun Bagan. The Red Lizards were on course for a well-deserved win when Mariners striker Odafa Okolie thought otherwise. His two late goals after Arata Izumi had doubled Pune's lead would have left Derrick Perreira on plenty to ponder about how his defence was bullied by the Nigerian. The game against Salgaocar presents a perfect opportunity for Perreira's men to grab three points as the Goans have been mediocre and lie just a point above basement club ONGC FC.
Salgaocar FC – Luciano Sobrosa is expect to return while Francis Fernandes is still out due to an injury and defender Nicolau Colaco is suspended after picking up his fourth yellow card in the last game. Sean Rooney has been released from the squad while Angel Guirado is on national duty with Philippines.
Pune FC – Arata Izumi may start after scoring a goal last weekend against Mohun Bagan. The rest of the team may remain unchanged.
