Could do nothing to prevent any of the Sevilla goals and when called into action he bailed out his team. Denied Jairo one-on-one with a superb save with his legged and also palmed Gameiro's corner bound strike round the post.
Positioning could have been slightly better as he was caught up the park a few times but his pace was a real asset at the back as he was needed to keep up with Sevilla counterattacks.
Showed tonnes of attacking ambition from the get-go and enjoyed linking up with Ronaldo down the left. Crossing took a while to get sharp but eventually was a threat on the overlap and got an assist for Benzema's header.
Was commanding aerially but didn't deal with the movement of the Sevilla attackers particularly well. Would feel slightly aggrieved that his slight nudge on Figueiras gave away a penalty but recovered well and organised the defence to be more solid in the second period.
Looked as though he was towing a caravan whenever running back at Sevilla counterattacks but did keep calm when under pressure. Attacking play was better than usual as he put in some dangerous crosses after linking up with Bale.
Was neat and tidy without being too ambitious and acted as a good safety net for Madrid. Was overrun at times in midfield but this was mainly due to his partner floating out of position. Replaced by Xabi Alonso in the second half.
Was fantastic with his back to goal in the fist half as his ability to turn sharply lead to a number of Madrid counterattacks. Almost opened the scoring with an unlucky dink over Beto but as the game went on, so did his ability to affect proceedings.
Was guilty of trying to get in on the scoring act when his solidity was sorely needed in the middle of the park. Positioning was not great as it left Madrid exposed but did trouble Sevilla with a few penetrative runs through the middle.
Took his first goal superbly well with a lashed finish into the top corner and doubled his tally thanks to a slice of luck from a free kick and. Got on the assist chart too with crosses inside for Ronaldo and Benzema and generally looked extremely dangerous running towards goal.
Rest for the Clasico looked to have did him well as he looked sharp and hungry from the first whistle. Took his first goal with a fantastic touch and composed finish and latched on to Marcelo's cross to bullet a header home as he got back onto the scoresheet.
Took his first-half penalty confidently and even had a little dig towards Sepp Blatter in his celebration. Second half goals were all about pace, power, and determination as drifted in at the back post for his second and tore a hole in the Sevilla defence with a penetrative power for his third.
Conceding seven goals in a horrible, horrible night for any 'keeper but he was given desperately little protection by his defenders. Should have done better for Ronaldo's second though, as he allowed the shot to slip through his hands.
Went into rash challenges time and time again which resulted in him being skinned by Madrid players at will. Couldn't deal with the pacey Bale running at him and opted to foul him rather than run back a few times. Was torn apart at times by the Welshman.
Stepped out at the wrong times and struggled terribly to deal with the incisive movement on the Madrid attackers. Faired poorly with the ball at this feet and couldn't manage to clear his lines quick enough.
Deservedly went into the book after a scything challenge on Ronaldo and then gave away the penalty after getting the wrong side of Isco. Was employed in a more advanced role down the left and attacking play was decent, but gave Navarro absolutely no help in dealing with runners.
Was pushed and pulled out of position all night long by Benzema and could barely get a touch on the Madrid frontline. Positioning was nowhere as he continually left spaces in behind him which the hosts were able to utilise.
Earned the first half penalty thanks to a determined run into the box past Marcelo but was fortunate to get the second spotkick as he appeared to kick the leg of Ronaldo. Was always up and down the wing but was posted missing at right-back far too often.
Went on a superb galloping run down the left-hand side which lead to Sevilla's second goal and his pace was always a danger on the counterattack. Drifted out of the match after the break as he was replaced by Perotti with 30 minutes remaining.
Took his penalty well and was one of the main catalysts for Sevilla's first half resurgence and also got them back into contention in the second period with a fantastic strike into the top right corner. Was arguably unlucky to be on the losing side.
Struggled with the pace of the match from the get go and couldn't find his feet in the middle of the park. Earned his first booking after hauling down Isco and left his side on the back foot for 15 minutes as he put a forearm across the face of Modric to get sent off.
Found space at the front post and swivelled quickly to pass back inside for Bacca's goal but should have got on the scoresheet himself early in the second half as he tamely finished when through on goal with Diego Lopez.
Scored Sevilla's second with a predatory finish but drifted in and out of the match. Didn't work Madrid's shaky backline as much as he could have and was eventually replaced relatively early in the second period.
