The experienced goalkeeper had very little to do. He did make a handful of smart saves but was helpless in stopping the Granada goal.
Looked good going forward but was easily beaten by Uche down the wing in the run-up to the away side's only goal of the game.

The Spanish international looked great again at centre-back, oozing class at times. He also scored Madrid's all important second goal which settled any nerves around the Bernabeu.

The former Liverpool man showcased his usual superb passing ability from midfield and helped his team control the tempo of the game throughout.
Added the third goal straight after the break to put the game to bed and showed he can play with Benzema upfront as the pair caused the visitors all sorts of problems.
The Portuguese attacker looked bright in patches but he did not have his finishing boots as he fired several shots well off target. However the former Manchester United man did grab his goal in the 89th minute and played a part in setting up Benzema's opener.
The Frenchman was in ruthless form in front of goal as he added two more strikes to his tally. His movement was top notch and Granada could not cope with the striker's pace and power.
