Didn't have much to do today but did well on two occasions in the second half under greasy conditions.
The Brazilian left-back pushed forward from the back, tried his luck too on some occasions with shot and played his team-mates well. A very encouraging performance from the youngster.
Could have cost his side a goal when he miscued a header near his penalty area. Wasn't tested much on other occasions.
Could have given away a penalty but other than that didn't do any mistake. He was not exactly put under much pressure.
Was at the heart of Higuain's goal. Didn't look extremely adventurous and appears to have assumed a more tempered role at right-back.
Didn't inspire much confidence in the first-half because of which he was substituted at the break. Lost possession rather too easily.
The deep-lying playmaker had a very good game and was at the heart of Higuain's goal and Ronaldo's second. Today the centre-midfield was allowed to play a more attacking role and he was sensationally good at that.
Had yet another productive match and even the Madrid fans saw that. It was his corner that Ronaldo headed home for his side and he himself scored. The German international expressed his imagination and creativity on other occasions when he ran into the box or brought his team-mates into play.
Á. di María
Scored a brilliant goal and set up one for Higuain. Could have added two more to his tally. His imagination and decisions on the flanks as well as runs into Depor's 18-yard-box were sound today. The Madrid fans are warming up to him as well.
Found the net from close range and provided two assists. Higuain had a good game today and was at the right place at the right time to receive and release passes.
Scored two goals and played important roles in the other goals as well. Ronaldo didn't look at his best but he did appear very much a team-player as he passe the ball around with intelligence. The Portuguese even didn't take audacious shots at goal until his side were well and truly on their way to a victory.
Made one or two good saves but conceding six goals means that he was at fault between the sticks. A day to forget for Manu.
Terrible defending at the back as he failed to do virtually anything right at centre-back.
Cleared an Ozil cross that would have certainly been turned home. Had a poor game otherwise as he was all over the place.
Looked marginally better than his fellow defenders but that doesn't mean that he did at all well.
Scored an own goal that summed up Deportivo's torrid evening. Along with Lopo at centre-back, Ze Castro exhibited today just why Depor are too good not to go down to the Segunda Division at the end of the season.
Anonymous for most of the match as he was utterly smothered by a superior Madrid defence.
Threatened on one occasion and did try to do at least something upfront.
Hardly looked like he was in the game but did threaten on one or two occasions in the first-half.
Didn't get the support from his team-mates to combat the superior midfield and attackforce of Real Madrid and lost himself before long.
Hardly looked in the game in the first-half but had a great chance to score right after the break when he took advantage of Carvalho's mistake at the back.
- 1 Aranzubia
- 15 Laure
Replaced Ze Castro midway through the second-half but like Ze Castro miserably failed at the back.
- 20 Y. Desmarets
Didn't add much to the match after he came on in the early minutes of the second-half.
It was his cross that led to Depor's consolation goal.
