Deportivo La Coruña
It's all over here at the Bernabeu as Real Madrid have recorded a 6-1 win against Deportivo la Coruna. Ronaldo was on target twice for los Blancos, Oezil, Di Maria and Higuain were the other scorers; De Castro scored an own goal too. Madrid are now third in the table ahead of Barcelona From me and the rest of the Goal.com team here in Madrid, it's goodbye for now.
Assist Xabi Alonso
Goal Cristiano Ronaldo
GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! Cristiano Ronaldo scores and etches his name on the scoresheet! Lassana Diarra found Alonso, who then released Ronaldo down the left and the Portugal international scored a typical Ronaldo goal with a well taken left-footed shot. 6-1 to Real Madrid!
Deportivo have been awarded a free-kick just on the edge of the Madrid penalty area but they waste that chance... Not that it would have meant much if they had scored...
GOAL! Deportivo la Coruna pull one back as Juan Rodriguez heads home from close range. It is 5-1 - at least Deportivo have scored!
Goal Juan Rodríguez
Ángel Di María
It is all one-way traffic here as Madrid are continuing to bombard the Depor backline. Deportivo have hardly been out of their own half in the last 15 or so minutes.
15 minutes of normal time remain here at the Bernabeu. Will we see any more goals from los Blancos? They already have five so far...
RONALDO!!!!!!!! He takes another shot from close range from an acute angle but he hits the side net. Di Maria's ball over the top was exceptionally brilliant on that occasion
Ronaldo tries a shot on the turn with his left foot but it is hit straight at Manu. The Portugal international seems to be getting eager to get his name on the scoresheet.
Oezil gets his deserved applause from the Madrid fans as he is substituted. Esteban Granero comes on for the summer signing.
Ze Castro is now being substituted as he appears to have injured himself. Terrible day for Miguel Angel Lotina and his men...
Frankly, it is all over here at the Bernabeu. This hasn't exactly been a brilliant Madrid performance but their superior quality and Depor's utter lack of edge upfront have seen los Blancos record what I believe is their best win (in terms of goals) in a competitive fixture this season..
GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! Ze Castro scores an own goal while trying to keep out a run from Marcelo from just yards out. Could it get any worse for De
Own Goal Zé Castro
OEZIL!!!! The German ran with the ball down the left and gave in a low cross that was cleared away. The Bernabeu applauded Oezil's play there - the 21-year-old is indeed endearing himself to the Bernabeu supporters.
Now Depor go on the attack and Casillas makes another good save to keep out Depor.
GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! Higuain has scored and it is now 4-0 to Madrid. Ronaldo passed the ball to Ramos just in front of the Depor penalty area and he spread the ball wide right to Di Maria, who cross was tucked in by Higuain.

Goal Gonzalo Higuaín
It's been a lively start to the second-half but Madrid are beginning to overrun Depor and are pushing forward.
CASILLAS!!!!! He saves Madrid from conceding their first goal of the match! Lassad Nouioui was sent through on goal after Carvalho miscued his header but Casillas kept out the Depor striker.
And here we start with the second-half. Madrid are 3-0 up from the first-half. Surely it is all over for Depor, or do they have a fightback in them?
It's half-time here at the Bernabeu and it is 3-0 to Real Madrid. Ronaldo, Oezil and Di Maria were on target for los Blancos. Join us again for the second-half very soon.
RONALDO!!! The Portugal international takes an attempt on goal from a good distance but cannot keep his shot on target.
Five minutes of normal time remain in this first-half. Madrid do have picked up the points, you would have believed and indeed they are above Barcelona in the league standings. Nice way to go into a two-week break from club football because of international matches.
Oezil tries to craft out a cross from the right intended for Higuain but Manuel Pablo heads it away. It would have a sureshot fourth for Madrid but for Pablo's timely intervention.
Madrid are running Depor ragged here and indeed amidst the rain are smothering them!
Assist Gonzalo Higuaín
Goal Ángel Di María
GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! ANGEL DI MARIA SCORES AND MAKES IT 3-0! Xabi Alonso released Higuain down the left and the Argentina international floated in a brilliant cross that Di Maria couldn't help but put it in. 3-0 to Madrid - game over? Seems so!
CRISTIANO RONALDO! The Portuguese takes a shot on the Depor goal but it is hit straight at Manu. Ronaldo has been more considerate so far in terms of taking his shots.
Jose Mourinho's side are now dominating the match and are making it tough for Deportivo. It's been raining here in Madrid but the sun is shining on Madrid. Also, if Madrid win this match, then they will go above Barcelona in the table.
Madrid go on the attack again and this time it is Di Maria, who is at the end of the final pass. But his attempt on goal is blocked with ease.
Assist Gonzalo Higuaín
Goal Mesut Özil
GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! Mesut Oezil scores and makes it 2-0! Madrid make a rather slowish but cunning move with Ronaldo slipping the ball to Higuain on the edge of the Deportivo penalty area from where he passes it to Oezil. The Germany international curls a low shot into the far corner. 2-0 to los Blancos.
Madrid have yet to make a real onslaught on the Deportivo defence and playing in a more cagey fashion. The Galicians are holding well at the Bernabeu at the moment and not giving Madrid a sniff of a chance...
There are a few whistles around the Bernabeu here. Seems an early goal is not enough...
A quarter of an hour gone in this match and it remains 1-0 to Real Madrid. There has not been many events in the game since that Ronaldo goal but Jose Mourinho's side are controlling the game, which is being played inside the Deportivo half.
DI MARIA! Madrid make a nice move from the left and Di Maria gets the ball on the right outside the Deportivo penalty area from where he takes a shot aimed at the far post but Manu makes a good save. 1-0 it remains here at the Bernabeu.
The flow of the game has tempered here so far but Madrid appear to have things under control and are looking very organised at the back.
However, Deportivo la Coruna are gradually getting on with the match as they are moving the ball around in the midfield...
Madrid have started the game well here as Di Maria and Oezil tried to combine but eventually failed. Deportivo simply cannot score and indeed they could be up for a battering today given the way things have started.
It was Mesut Oezil's cross that Ronaldo headed in from the centre of the box. Ronaldo has been misfiring of late but he seems to have started the game on a high.
GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! Cristiano Ronaldo scores and Real Madrid are 1-0 up in the very early stages of this match!
