Pune FC have made the most of their home advantage over fellow Maharashtrian sides ONGC and Mumbai FC whom they beat by a similar margin of 3-2 before going down to an away defeat to East Bengal in their last match, where they missed several goal scoring chances.
Derrick Pereira's side will be back on familiar turf while expecting to get back to winning ways. The PFC coach might need to work out his tactics effectively as they will be dealing with a settled team in Churchill Brothers SC.
|Can Paite work his magic against his former employers?
Pune FC have enjoyed a decent start to their league campaign but will face their real challenge at home against Churchill Brothers.
Subhas Bhowmick's side have already beaten ONGC and Mumbai FC in Goa in their last two games and given the manner in which they are playing, oppositions need to be wary of them.
|Akram Moghrabi will be the man to watch
There is no doubt that Akram Moghrabi will start ahead of Henri Antchouhet in the attack for Churchill Brothers, with Beto threatening from the midfield with his late runs into the box.
Apart from Dempo, Churchill have been the most impressive side to watch in the league with attack being their forte, which Pune FC need to keep a tab on.
Pune FC: Khangtang Paite will be back for the Red Lizards while Sukhwinder Singh and local lad Nikhil Kadam could be handed their first I-League appearances.
Churchill Brothers SC: There are no injury worries for the away side, other than striker Bineesh Balan, while Akram Moghrabi is likely to continue in the starting XI.
