The keeper made a great stop from Larsson during the first half but was not asked to do much else thereafter. He dealt with everything that was thrown at him for the rest of the game.

The towering striker was a peripheral figure for much of the game. He rarely linked up with his team-mates and failed to truly test Rui Patricio throughout the entire match. He was well and truly outshone by Ronaldo.
