FULL-TIME: A Lucho volley, Moutinho free-kick and Varela side-foot finish did the damage in this match. In the end it was as comfortable as the scoreline suggested as Porto eventually got into their stride in the second half. At times, though, in the first Dinamo had their chances and Sammir will feel aggrieved that he did not put the visitors in front early on. Another match without a goal for Dinamo and another without a victory. Porto, however, now have set up a mouth-watering tie with PSG in the final match of the Group stages. Thanks for joining folks! Hope you enjoyed the coverage!
90' + 2'
OOOH CHANCE AGAIN! Well Varela really should have made it four. Great link-up play between the Porto attack and it's the winger who from about the penalty spot hits hit shot straitght Kelava. Either side of the goalkeeper and it would have been in.
Three minutes of time to be added on here in Portugal, Zagreb will want the full-time whistle to go any minute now.
Danilo tries to find Varela down the right wing with a lovely through-ball but the goalscorer for some reason stops his run could have been another opportunity to get in behind the Dinamo defence who are heading for their 11th defeat in a row in the Champions League Group stages.
GOOOAAALLLL! Varela nets his fifth of the season and that was another lovely move from the hosts a backheel from Moutinho set up the winger in the box and it was a low finish to the keeper's left. Game over.
Yellow CardSilvestre Varela
Rodriguez tries to find Varela this time down the right hand-side but it is spotted by the Dinamo defence and they manage to clear it for a corner. It comes to nothing but Porto are the ones making all the moves here they could be three or four up by now.
Substitute Alex Sandro tries to go for goal of the season wide on the left-hand side. He attempts to rip the leather off the ball and it goes into about row M of the stand behind the goal.
Great ball by Sammir - who has been at the heart of everything good for the visitors - he finds Beqiraj but Alex Sandro does well to nullify the threat and puts it out for a corner.
Martinez looks to make it three from the edge of the box, cuts onto his right foot but horribly slices the ball and it goes harmlessly wide, more changes for Porto expected.
The goal has somewhat killed the match as a contest, Zagreb can't get a hold of the ball, Porto look more likely to score here if they can continue to wear down the visitors.
Varela gives away a free-kick after a clumsy foul on the right-hand side. Sammir's set-piece is intercepted by Otamendi who read where the ball was going, good anticipation from the centre-back.
GOOOOAALLLLL!! What a sumptuous free-kick by Moutinho you will do well to see a better goal in the Champions League this week. Curled majestically into the top corner from about 25-yards out superb effort.
Yellow CardJosip Simunic
Porto look set to make a flurry of changes to try and inject some life into this match for the hosts.
Good play by Sammir after being fed by Cop down the left-hand side, the Brazilian has looked the most likely to cause the Portuguese defence problems.
GREAT CHANCE! Porto almost find a second Martinez and Rodriguez link-up in the box. Rodriguez has space and tries to curl a ball beyond Kelava but it lacks the accuracy it needs to beat the shot-stopper from 16 yards.
Another long diagonal is arrowed into the Dinamo box, but, Kelava comes out to comfortably claim the ball. The hosts are lacking a bit of creativity and flair - they just seem to punting long hopeful balls into the box in this half.
Good strike Martinez forces another save of Kelava but the visitors looked to counter and win a free-kick after Mangala brings down Beqiraj, frustratingly for Dinamo it fails to beat the first man.
One criticism of Porto tonight the intensity of passing isn't as high as it normally is unsurprising really given that they're already through but this at times is like a training session.
Yellow CardAbdoulaye Ba
Lovely challenge by Danilo as Zagreb looked to get in behind the Porto defence. He had to be careful as it was in the box but it was perfectly timed on Cop sliding in to cleanly win the ball.
Martinez goes down with the faintest of touches to win his side a free-kick. Wicked delivery from the set-piece by Rodriguez but it's dealt with by the Dinamo defence.
Porto putting pressure on the visitors Rodriguez fires a shot - which is at a comfortable height for the keeper- from the edge of the box, it's not the most confident of punches from Kelava but his side get away with it.
Early chance for Porto in the second half but the corner is a waste really should have made more of the opportunity.
Porto get us under way in the second half can they hold onto their unbeaten record in the Champions League this season?
The teams are making their way back on to the pitch for the second half. This game is far from over with the visitors every right to feel aggrieved that they're not on level terms.
HALF-TIME: Porto are ahead after a fine volley by Lucho Gonzalez assisted by Moutinho. Other than that, Zagreb have been the ones creating the chances. Sammir had an excellent opportunity which he smashed against the post while Beqiraj has went close on a couple of occasions but as it stands, the hosts lead by one goal to nil.
Yellow CardArijan Ademi
Zagreb are having to withstand heavy pressure, Porto trying to work an opening and you can see the energy being sapped out of the visitors but they've stood firm and manage to clear the ball away to safety.
Half-time approaching and to be fair to the visitors they might feel aggrieved to be behind here. They've had their chances but haven't been able to take them so far.
OOH WHAT A CHANCE FOR ZAGREB!! Twice in quick succession and it falls to Beqiraj. First a great through ball for the Dinamo men gave him the opportunity to test Helton but a last-ditch challenge prevents him from executing correctly and goes out for a corner. The resultant corner is whipped in and Beqiraj is inches away from poking his side back on level terms. Still 1-0.
Vida again manages to thwart another Porto attack after a promising move had broke down for the visitors but it again highlights how dangerous the Portuguese are on the counter-attack, it's been a far from polished performance by Vitor Pereira's men, they've look good in spells without really excelling.
Varela is a constant out ball for the hosts, he gives Porto an extra dimension has had a good game so far perhaps the service to him could be better.
Beqiraj takes a knock but the referee waves play on and gives the opportunity for Porto to start an attack. Another long ball looking for Martinez is cut out by Vida but he nearly lobs his own keeper with the header!
Sammir whips the ball in but it is comfortably cleared by the Porto defence.
Half-an-hour played and Moutinho plays a searching ball over the top looking for Martinez, the Colombian is not far away from it as he gallops towards goal but it goes into the clutches of the keeper. Meanwhile, Zagreb up the other end have a corner...
Brilliant football again by Porto. Rodriguez and Martinez playing really well together, the ball goes out wide to Varela in the box, the angle is slightly against him but his strike is scuffed and it's easy for the keeper to collect.
Varela is brought down and it's a good way out. Rodriguez fancies it. He fires it towards goal but it's too far out to trouble Kelava.
Yellow CardJackson Martínez
Martinez is booked as he races through onto a ball over the top. It's a 50:50 with the keeper, the Colombian has every right to go for it although he does catch Kelava. Eyes are always on the ball. Harsh booking.
That has taken the wind out of the visitors' sails they looked as though they were coming onto a game here but that is massive blow. It's nearly 2-0 moments later Kelava palms the ball out into the middle of the box but Moutinho blazes over.
GOOOOAAALLLLL!! Well that goal came of out nothing really, Lucho volleys Porto into the lead it's a fantastic effort, the ball dropped to him just inside the box and he lashes it past Kelava.
Porto being very complacent at the back, Otamendi just gifts Sammir the ball about 25-yards out but Ba comes back and manages to put the ball out for a corner. Really bizarre defending there but the hosts get away with it as the corner comes to nothing.
Vida has certainly got his work cut out here tonight. Martinez is proving to be a right handful and the Colombian holds off his man before laying off a ball to Varela but the weight of the pass is to heavy and goes out for a goal kick.
Well Moutinho takes matters into his own hands for the hosts and tries a speculative shot to test Kelava, the midfielder shot looks like it is going wide but the goalkeeper is taking no chances and palms it for a corner. The cross comes in but the referee blows for a foul inside the Dinamo box.
OOH WHAT A CHANCE!!! Great ball by Vida over the top - an instant counter from Zagreb - Sammir is right through on goal and from edge of the box unleashes a ferocious strike which cannons off Helton's post superb effort.
In the end the chance comes to nothing but Porto are looking dangerous without really troubling Kelava in goal.
Great awareness by Rodriguez to win his side a free-kick. The 21-year-old linked up well with Moutinho before he was chopped down. Promising position here.
The game is yet to really get into any sort of rhythm but Martinez and Rodriguez - the two Colombian internationals look a real threat that Zagreb will have to be aware of.
A promising run down the right-hand side for Zagreb is halted by Mangala, the Brazilian Sammir tries to win the ball back but he is outnumbered.
The resultant corner is swung in with pace and Martinez has a free header really could have done better there. Zagreb marking not the best.
Mangala and Varela looking an attacking threat for the hosts down the left-hand side, they're playing with a lot of width Porto. Great ball by Martinez to Varela forces the first corner.
Kovacic spreads a lovely ball down the left wing looking for Cop but the Porto defence mop-up the early DInamo pressure.
And we're underway here in Portugal....
Kick off is only minutes away! How do you see this game going? Tweet me @CTTurnbull and I'll put up some of the predictions. Can the former Champions League winners secure top spot or will the Croats spring a surprise?
It's no surprise really that Porto are heavy favourites for this clash but how have previous results between the two sides went? Well let me tell you, Porto and Zagreb have met seven times in Europe and it has been closer than you might think with three wins each. But, the omens are not great if you're a Dinamo fan as they've yet to taste victory in Portugal in their last six attempts.
For the visitors well they are playing for an Europa League spot. The Croatians have yet to take a point so far in this campaign but will be hoping results go their way and they get a victory in Portugal tonight. Here is how they line-up: DINAMO ZAGREB: Kelava; Simunic, Vrsaljko, Vida, Ademi; Mateo Kovacic, Sammir, Brozovic, Beqiraj; Cop. Rukavina misses out with flu while 16-year-old hot prospect Allen Halilovic is also unavailable.
Well here is the team news for both sides firstly with the hosts. PORTO: Helton; Danilo, Mangala, Ba, Otamendi; Lucho, Moutinho, Defour; Martinez, Rodriguez, Varela It's still a very strong starting XI for Vitor Pereira's side despite already being guaranteed of a last 16 place. The only casualties are Maicon, Fernando and Alex Sandro.
