U. Emanuelson 55'
That's it from me, Keeghann Sinanan, its been a blast! Drop me a line @Keeghann for any comments or thoughts on the game!
Milan never had to get out of second gear, and win again thanks to an Ibrahimovic penalty and a blistering run and finish from Emanuelson. They move seven points clear of Juventus at the top of the table, although the Old Lady can reduce the gap when they kick off against Fiorentina in just under an hour. Parma meanwhile continue their winless run, which now stretches to seven games.

PARMA HIT THE BAR!!! Fantastic technique by Floccari, who takes a loose ball brilliantly on the turn in the box but sees it smack back off the woodwork! That deserved a goal!
On comes Gattuso for a late cameo, making his long awaited return from an eye problem. The veteran midfielder has been out for months and has seen only 20 minutes of Serie A football this season, against Lazio all the way back in September.
Milan continue to stroke the ball around midfield, not wanting or needing to make any inroads into the opposition half. The fourth official signals for three minutes of injury time.
Giovinco again finding a pocket of space near the D, but, not for the first time tonight, drags his shot disappointingly wide of the post.
ABBIATI SAVE!!! Musacci takes aim and lets fly from the top of the box, the shot takes a deflection off Silva, and forces the Milan keeper into a great reflex stop!
Bonera and Silva have been solid all night. A near error free performance from the pair of them, with a back header by the Brazilian that hit the bar the only snafu.
Muntari battling with Jonathan out wide and just manages to stick the ball out of play. Good thing he did, because there was acres of space behind him for the Parma winger to exploit.
The gulf in class is evident between the two sides as another Parma attack breaks down. That, simply has been the difference between the two teams today.
Approaching the last 10 minutes of the game and nothing much has changed since the second goal. Donadoni looks a dejected man on the touchline as defeat is surely on the horizon.
Stephan El Shaarawy
Hesitant there from Milan! A seemingly hopeless cross by Giovinco catches the backline ball-watching as it evades about three Milan jerseys. Valiani takes the cross inside, but his blast towards goal is blocked off by Bonera!
Giovinco collects a pass from Valdes and strides towards goal. he has space to shoot, but drags that effort harmlessly wide.
All the sting taken out of the game now, as both teams are going through the motions with a Milan victory looking inevitable. Donadoni prepares to make his final change.
Play resumed as Musacci gets to his feet.
Break in play as Musacci is down on the deck. Replays show that Ibrahimovic caught him in the eye after attempting to get by him, and the Parma player is receiving treatment to a clearly swollen eye.
...And forces Mirante into action! The set-piece is hit powerfully to the right, but is still central enough for Mirante to save. A bounce just before it reached the keeper made the stop challenging!
Freekick to Milan about 30 yards from goal. Ibrahimovic stands over it...
Parma holding possession just outside the Milan area, which ends when Giovinco upends Silva after a pass was over-hit in front of him. Freekick.
CLOSE! Ibra again leading the charge down the field, and feeds El Shaarawy on the left. His cross beats two defenders and finds Nocerino open in the box. He takes it on the half-volley, but cannot get clean contact with the ball and slices it wide.
The tempo of the game is at walking pace now. Milan taking their sweet time to work the ball forward, and Parma are left chasing shadows.
Yellow CardLuca Antonini
Antonini sees yellow for going in late on Jonathan.
EMANUELSON! Great chance for his second! Ibrahimovic does well to stop play and ship a clever ball in towards the goalscorer. However, with only the keeper to beat, he can't get a hold on his shot and sends it wide!
Milan confident to build from the back, as Parma have once again completely lost their way after conceding. As things stand, the league leaders cruising to a 10th away win this season.
El Shaarawy receives the ball at the corner of the box. He holds up play, and tries to pick out the run of Ibrahimovic, who is just offside.
Like I mentioned just minutes earlier, Parma have been punished by their failure to score while on top. Difficult to see a way back for them now, as Milan sit pretty with a two goal advantage.
2-0 MILAN!!! Deadly counter attack!!! Milan gain possession near the halfway line and with the Parma backline pushed high up the field, Ibrahimovic lets the bursting Emanuelson's pass run through his legs, releasing him through on goal. He is to quick for Zaccardo, and touches it past Mirante before rolling the ball home!!
IBRAHIMOIC!!! What a chance!!! He finds space in the box once again, and fires low and hard towards goal! However, Mirante rushes out to save with his legs!
Parma have, again made an encouraging start to the half and, again, look the better side. This time though, they need to make all that hard work pay off and find a way to score, because Milan always have the quality on hand to get themselves a goal.
Biabiny attacking, and is shown inside by Nocerin. However, he still manages to spray it wide to Jonathan, bu his cross cannot beat the first Milan defender and is headed away.
Giovinco shows great pace to charge down the left and send a low ball across the face of goal that Bonera does well to cut out.
Milan's turn to attack. Nocerino takes it on the right hand side, and sends in a lofted ball to Ibrahimovic near the far post. He controls, but cannot get it back across to the waiting El Shaarawy as Parma clear.
Parma on the attack again, Floccari does well to hold off two Milan challenges in his way infield. He plays is out to Giovinco, but his cross is blocked out by Antonini.
Early pressure sees Zambrotta forced to pass back to Abbiati, who clears. the ball is soon back in the Milan half though, and Floccari takes aim from 25 yards out, but his shot is blocked.
Here we go again!
Remember, if Twitter's your thing, @Keeghann is where you'll find me. Second half in just a bit, so see you very soon!
Milan lead at the break thanks to another penalty goal by Ibrahimovic, given after Zaccardo's handball. Parma started brightly, but were floored by the opener after largely controlling play beforehand. Milan controlled play thereafter, and even though their cutting edge was not always there, they still could have had another. Parma still harbored a threat on the counter, and could punish the visitors if they continue to waste chances.
45' + 2'
And that near miss is the last action of the half!
45' + 2'
EL SHAARAWY HITS THE POST!!! Delightful control and technique by Ibrahimovic again, which releases his strike partner through on goal on the left. With the angle diminishing, he tries to beat Mirante at his near post but ends up hitting the woodwork!!!
45' + 1'
Biabiny storms down the right flank and sends in a teasing cross, that bends away from goal just in front of Abbiati leaving the Milan keeper caught in two minds! However, no Parma player is there to get on the end of it.
45' + 1'
Two minutes of injury time to end the half.
Sublime control by Ibrahimovic, who uses all of his taekwondo training to kill a ball from Emanuelson with one touch from his outstretched boot. He tries to weave his way into the box again, but is cut out.
Milan holding possession well in midfield in the last minute or so, perhaps looking to hold their advantage to half time. Nocerino attempts a crossfield ball to pick out Ibra, but Lucarelli gets there to intercept with his head.
IBRAHIMOVIC!!! Dreadful play by Parma, Morrone thought he was fouled by El Shaarawy and lets the ball run, but the referee does not signal and Ibrahimovic is put clean through without a Parma player in sight! Mirante though, gets there just in time, but his clearance still deflects back off the Swede and ends up just over the bar!
PARMA HIT THE CROSSBAR!!! A deep cross from the left is headed by Paletta towards goal. Thiago SIlva attempts to divert it over the bar but almost makes a complete mess of it, and instead flicks it on to the bar!!
Half chance!! A well worked corner between Giovinco and Valdes eventually spills to Floccari on the penalty spot. He rushes to get his shot off, and it bobbles through to Abbiati who looked for just one second like he may have seen it late.
Parma look to attack - Floccari is played out onto the right by Giovinco, but he cannot beat Thiago Silva. Corner kick for the hosts.
Yellow CardGabriel Paletta
Parma's encouraging start has faded into nothing, as Milan have began to exert their influence over proceedings. The hosts have been extremely sloppy in midfield, coughing up possession like a bad cold and committing a series of niggling fouls. The latest such infraction is called after Paletta brings down Ibra, for which he is shown yellow.
Parma storm down the pitch and play the ball wide to Morrone on the left, who unleashes a powerful drive towards goal that Abbiati manages to grab with confidence.
PENALTY CALL FOR MILAN!! A mistake in midfield sees Ibrahimovic pick up the ball at the top of the box. He charges towards goal, showing fantastic skill and strength to weave past three Parma defenders before tumbling at the last under pressure from Paletta. 50-50 call there, but the referee decided in Parma's favor and orders Ibra to his feet!
Milan free kick on the left, near the corner flag. Antonini plays it short to Emanuelson. His cross is disappointing though, and Zaccardo manages to get something on the ball. Thankfully, it's not his hand this time.
Milan looking more confident after the opener. Ibrahimovic holds the ball up at the top of the box, dinks it through to Emanuelson, whose volley deflects off a defender and smacks right back off him, which funnily leads to an offside call on Nocerino, who was waiting for the pass on the right.
Parma manager Roberto Donadoni looks on with a grim face, clearly not happy with the way matters have unfolded. His team were hit with a sucker punch of a penalty after a promising start, and now have been forced into an early change.
It's the end of the game for Mariga, who cannot shake off that injury and heads to the bench clutching his thigh.
Giovinco found an angle for a shot, but it is blocked, leading to a Milan counter. Ibra though, takes the eye off the ball and the move breaks down.
Play stops for a moment as Mariga is down on the deck. He is taken to the sidelines for treatment to allow the game to continue.
Giovinco, who has looked dangerous, is brought down on the edge of the area by Antonini after striding forward on the break. However, the resulting freekick is dealt with by Thiago Silva with little fuss.
HOW DID HE MISS THAT!!! A great free kick to the corner by Ibrahimovic is met with an equally good save from Mirante. The rebound spills into the path of Emanualson, a few yards from goal, with the keeper on the ground, and he fires it over! Should have been 2-0!!!
Milan on the attack again! Ibrahimovic holds the ball up on a 3 on 3 break and feeds El Shaarawy, who passes to Nocerino on the flanks. The cross goes towards Emanuelson at the corner of the box, and he is felled just outside by Muntari. Freekick to come in a great position.
Yellow CardCristian Zaccardo
Penalty GoalZlatan Ibrahimovic
AND GIVES MILAN THE LEAD!!! A low spot kick into the right corner sends Mirante the wrong way! 1-0!!!
Route one football by Milan - A long ball by Nocerino is knocked down by Ibra into the path of Emanuelson, whose volley takes a touch off the arm of Zaccardo. Yellow card for the Parma defender, and the big Swede steps up...
PENALTY TO MILAN!!!!!
A commanding punch by Abbiati removes the danger, but only temporarily as Parma keep possession in the Milan half.
Parma have a corner, after Biabiany's attempted overlap down the right is cut out.
Milan try to relieve the pressure on their goal with a spell in the Parma half. El Shaarawy takes it on the left flank but is unable to get bast the figure of Lucarelli.
SO CLOSE FOR VALDES! The Parma forward does fantastically well to turn Muntari before skipping past Bonera at the top of the box to make space for a shot. He lets fly, but his attempt flashes just wide! Parma in control here!
GIOVINCO!!! Great chance! A horrendous back pass by Abbiati leaves his defence stranded and allows the forward a chance to break through on goal! However, he takes his touch a bit too wide and skies the ball over. A let off for the visitors!
Milan slow to get into their stride as Parma, despite not looking dangerous, have largely played the game at their own pace so far. Perhaps the week off to prepare has left Allegri's men a bit rusty?
Ooh, Giovinco called offside after finding his way past the Milan backline on a swift break! Correct call, but a warning for Milan of the threat of the former Juventus man!
Parma maintaining a little pressure in the Milan half in the opening exchanges. Nothing threatening, and their endeavor ends when Mariga blasts a long range effort well int orbit.
He is back on his feet after some work by the physios and play resumes.
Early injury to El Shaarawy, who is challenged after attempting to prise open the Parma backline in an attack with Ibrahimovic. The young forward is receiving treatment.
And we're off!
We're about to get underway here. Throughout the match, if you have any thoughts, comments, gripes or wisecracks, do not hesitate to reach me on twitter (@Keeghann).
Parma meanwhile have not won in six games, and will not have fond memories of Nocerino, who struck a hat trick when these sides last met in a 4-1 win for Milan back in October. The good news is that first choice keeper Mirante and forward Floccari are able to play from the start.
For the league leaders, Zambrotta steps in for the injured Abate at right-back, while Bonera also makes an appearance in the centre of defence due to the absence of Nesta and Mexes. Milan's defence has been robust this season, let's see if they can take these changes at the back in their stride. Up front, El Shaarawy takes his place alongside Ibra with Robinho and Maxi Lopez nursing slight knocks.
Milan (4-3-1-2) - Abbiati; Zambrotta, Bonera, Silva, Antonini; Ambrosini; Nocerino, Muntari, Emanuelson; El Shaarawy, Ibrahimovic.
Parma (3-5-2) - Mirante; Lucarelli, Paletta, Zaccardo; Biabiany, Mariga, Morrone, Valdes, Modesto; Giovinco, Floccari
The teams are in...
