ONGC will look to continue their winning habit as they take in lowly Salgaocar who will need a victory to keep them off the bottom of the league.

ONGC replaced Subrata Bhattacharya with Santosh Kashyap, and it has to be said that the appointment of the latter has had a positive effect at the club. The Oilmen are in a fairly comfortable mid table position, but as recent results have suggested, they could end up in the top 4 if they keep playing quality football. Playing at home to lowly Salgaocar, Kashyap will expect his team to pick maximum points in this fixture after pulling off a shock 1-0 upset over East Bengal.
On the other hand, Salgaocar are just one place off the relegation zone and a victory away from home will do wonders for the team’s morale. David Booth’s men have been really scrappy this season, but we all know the Green Army are more than capable of playing good football. A draw from a losing position against Air India should serve as a confidence boost as well. David Booth’s side will need a workman like performance against an in-form ONGC side, if the wish to pick up any points in their battle to move away from the relegation zone.
ONGC FC – Santosh Kashyap will not have the services of Robin Gurung and Bimal Minz as they are both out to injury. The rest of the team is expected to remain the same.
Salgaocar FC – David Booth cannot avail the services of Josimar da Silva Martins and John Wilkinson who have reportedly not yet been registered to play in the I-League for Salgaocar. Luciano Sabrosa and Dinesh Singh are unavailable due to injury.
