ONGC FC will welcome Mohun Bagan this week for their I-League clash at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. The Mariners have hit a purple patch after their disastrous start to the season that culminated in coach Santosh Kashyap putting in his papers to be replaced by Salgaocar FC coach Karim Bencherifa who shall take over the reins on November 18.
The Kolkata side have won their last two games thanks to the brilliance of their Nigerian striker Odafa Okolie who bagged a hat-trick in the last game against Sporting Clube de Goa. "We cannot lose the momentum that we have gained," said Bagan's interim coach Mridul Bannerjee.

ONGC FC on the other hand have all the hard work to do. After losing at home to Air India, Subrata Bhattacharya's troops will need to pick themselves up if they are to compete against a resurgent Mohun Bagan side. "We need to add to our account at any cost. We have been unlucky but at the end of the day, it’s just an excuse. There’s no room for errors," stressed Bhattacharya.
The coach refused to be drawn into labelling Bagan a one-man team thanks to Odafa's goals. "Bagan are a great team. Look at their history. Their name is enough to ring a bell," Bhattacharya was quoted saying.
ONGC FC: The Delhi side will be welcoming back Eric Brown as the midfielder returns from a suspension and also defender Robin Gurung into the starting XI. Subrata Bhattacharya revealed that he might look to use a zonal marking system to counter the threat of Mohun Bagan poacher Odafa Okolie.
Mohun Bagan: The Mariners will be looking to use the same side that has brought them success in their last two games and currently do not have suspension worries. The emphasis will again be on Odafa to provide the goals for the Kolkata side. Tolgay Ozbey and Arindam Bhattacharya are still out of action due to injury.
