With three draws and a win in the last four games, ONGC have finally got the points table ticking since their promotion from the second division in the summer. Manager Santosh Kashyap has had a positive influence on the team as his side have picked up four points from a possible six in the last two outings in Delhi.
With their first game in January against mid-table Pailan Arrows, ONGC fans will be hoping for a scalp to start their year with a bang.
Pailan Arrows on the other hand have managed only three points from their last four games and those were also co-incidentally earned against the Oilmen. With such poor run of form dropping them to 7th in the table, that morale boosting day against ONGC is of little use to them ahead of Matchday 14.
Pailan Arrows have failed to replicate the decent run of form they enjoyed at the start of the season and are gradually failing to impress with their performances.
ONGC FC : With no suspensions going into the game, the Oilmen have a chance to field their strongest XI against Pailan Arrows.
Pailan Arrows : Manager Arthur Papas doesn’t have a lot to worry with regards to suspensions as only midfielder Narayan Das is suspended due to the four yellow cards he has collected over the season. Alwyn George and Holicharan Narzary were the target men deployed against East Bengal in their last game and can expect the same against the Oilmen.
