The goalkeeper did well against the world-class attack of the visitors. Did well to save from Ibrahimovic early on and frustrated les Parisiens throughout the game.
Like Bessat, unlucky not to have bagged the equaliser in first half injury time with a lovely touch which was blocked by Van der Wiel. Nevertheless, he was uninvolved for large periods.
Scorer of a freak goal against Lorient last weekend, the left-back’s game was rather more low-key. A bit undisciplined in the tackle, but did well to provide chances out wide.
A brilliant performance from the defender. He was the main reason PSG toiled for so long with several brilliant tackles and played a part in Alex's own goal.
A liability at the back for Nantes. The Venezuelan failed to track the runs of Cavani and Ibrahimovic on a number of occasions – that also led to the first goal.
The American international was a lively spark in the first half, both offensively and defensively. Tested Sirigu well and used the flank to try and create chances for his side.
The U20 World Cup winner was slightly disappointing. Showed some good touches, but laboured at times. Couldn’t really get close to the opponents.
Another good performance from Lucas Deaux who battled hard In midfield. Struggled initially, but as Nantes picked up momentum, he was more efficient on the ball.
An underrated midfielder, Bessat was influential in sparking Nantes’ late revival in the first half. Burst through the midfield with ease and unlucky to not have equalised.
Intended to be the leading man up front, the Serbian striker dropped deeper to involve himself after failing to get the better of Thiago Silva. Enjoyed moderate success there.
The Togo international combined well with Bedoya to pick Nantes up from their malaise in the early stages, with bursting runs from the wing. Contributed well defensively too at times.
A fine performance from Salvatore Sirigu, with the most notable save coming from Alejandro Bedoya’s stunning header. Denied Nantes on more than one occasion.
On the night that Mamadou Sakho’s future looks to be over at PSG, Alex produced a distinctly below-par performance. Out of position on occasions and allowed Bedoya and Gakpe to roam.
G. van der Wiel
A better evening from the Dutch international, who was far more composed. Thwarted Gakpe and Bedoya, with a couple of interventions.
Another decent night from the PSG captain, who showed again why he’s arguably the best centre-back in the world, leading by example by throwing himself at everything that Nantes threw at him late on.
The Brazilian was a stoic presence on the left, but had little to do for large periods of the game. That said, he managed his duties well.
Victim of a nasty head clash last weekend, Matuidi returned to put in a solid performance against Nantes. Typically powerful in the midfield, he nevertheless required a more creative partner beside him.
Did little to silence the doubters. Pastore again found it tough tonight. Profligate in his approach play and looked disinterested. Not playing well right now.
Given the nod ahead of Verratti and the Italy international fashioned many of PSG’s early chances. Picked apart the Nantes defence with a number of lofted balls into the area for Cavani to chase.
Another frustrating night for Ibrahimovic when compared to his high standards, as he waits for his first league goal. But he was more effective dropping off Cavani and feeding the Uruguayan with a couple of astute passes.
The introduction of Lucas allowed Lavezzi to operate more widely and he flourished in the second half. Burst down the wing past Vizcarrondo and showed great movement to score the second.
The Uruguayan continued his education in Ligue 1 with a second goal in his second game. Showed brilliant movement and composure to constantly attempt a shot. The partnership with Ibra can only improve.
Came on for Motta, but again showed that he can get carried away in the tackles.
His arrival allowed PSG to really stretch Nantes, and it showed as they dominated late on.
The young midfielder was given another outing from Laurent Blanc, but he couldn’t make an impact.
