Full Time Scoreline: Mohun Bagan 0-2 Rangdajied United. Well deserved 3 points for the hill side.

I have been Atanu Mitra, bringing you all the action through the weekend in Kolkata. Follow our site for all the live action from the world of football. Until next time, Goodbye!
90' + 3'
David K C Ngaihte
90' + 1'
David Ngaihte is waiting to enter the field. Poilce vs Spectators in front of the VIP box in the venue.
Yellow Card Ram Malik
Santosh Kasyap takes a sweet revenge against the side which sacked him last year. What a display from the visiting team.
Yellow Card E. Anyichie
Frantic last few minutes of action. Mohun Bagan relying on the individual brilliance of Odafa Okolie. He has been horribly wasteful, but very much creative.
Yellow Card Manandeep Singh
SUBRATA PAUL IS THE STAR OF THE MATCH! WHAT A SAVE! Odafa with a world class header that looked destined for the top corner, but Subrata flies in and curls his body to deny Odafa the well-deserved goal. Top class stuff from both the performers.
HALF CHANCE! Great back head by Odafa sets Sabeeth with the ball with only Subrata to beat. However, he fails to connect the volley and the chance is wasted.
Great display by the young brigade of the travllers. Subrata and Gouramani have been equally good.
SUBRATA! AGAIN! Odafa has by now understood that nobody has been able to help in his mission and tries to go forward, but Subrata Paul dives to his left pulling off another world-class save. You don't beat him that easily. Super Subrata!
Sabeeth has inculcated some agility in the side, but still they are way behind the Shillong team in terms of performance.
All three substitutions used by Karim, but what he needs to change is the way his team is going forward.
Odafa Okolie runs a mile lateraaly and fails to create enough space for him and has to be content with passing to Yusa Katsumi. Katsumi has been one of the worst performers on the pitch today.
Thomas Saikhom is down with an injury and it looks like a serious one. He has been already taken to the nursing-home by an ambulence. We hope this is not something bad.
One of the worst days of the season for Mohun Bagan defense.
Adil Ahmed Khan
Goal Eugeneson Lyngdoh
GOAALL!! AGAIN!! After a world-class back-heel from Manandeep Singh, Lyngdoh finds himself completely unmarked in the edge of the 6-yard box, and the player had nothing to do other than doubling the lead for his side. Great touch from Manandeep after Kim Song Young built the move patiently down the right.
Odafa Okolie is the target of the mass agitation now. The supporters however, send in a huge roar for Ram Malik, who starts warming up.
BIG BIG CHANCE! ODAFA SQUANDERS! After a brilliant trickery by Katsumi on the left, Odafa had the open net in front of him, but fails to slot in. Best chance of the day for him so far!
SAVE! SUBRATA! HOW DID HE SAVE THAT! India's most popular goalkeeper comes out on top snatching the ball from Odafa's feet at the edge of the box. Brilliant timely dive to save the day for the Shillong team.
Rangdajied building their moves patiently, while Mohun Bagan banking on counter-attacks.
CHANCE! Tomba Singh with a brilliant header, but Nandi was right on spot to hold it safe. Only moments ago, Pritam Kotal had shown his frustration by taking a shot from 38 yards out.
Odafa once again! But nobody comes to his support. Odafa is putting pressure on Munmun Lugun, but to little result.
Mohun Bagan have to use their plan B here. Rangdajied's youth brigade dominating the proceeding here.
Shouvik Ghosh goes into the referee's book and on the next move, Odafa finds himself running out of ideas in the opponent box. But one must admit that he is playing his heart out on the field.
Yellow Card Shouvik Ghosh
Mohun Bagan trying to build up from deep positions. The inclusion of Sabeeth has provided the team with pace in the right wing, but it's too early to make any judgement about the Kerala player.
Manandeep! Takes a shot after a sharp turn, but Sandip Nandi had the body behind the ball and makes a good save on the line. Probably the worst day for Aibor in the Green and Marron jersey.
C S Sabeeth
Sabeeth almost making an instant impact here, but Tamba was again alert and clears it for a throw-in.
Katsumi and Odafa play a pass between themselves and the second half is upon us. Brace yourself for 45 minutes of nail-biting action.
Sabeeth is seem warming up. I think Muranda is making way for him. Prudent decision from Karim, but looking at the game, he is 45 minutes late to make the call.
The players are coming out once again and an exciting half football beckoning us. Katsumi enters the field first.
Lamine Tamba and Gouramangi Singh have simply been phenomenal. Especially Gouramangi, who came back only 10 days ago to life in I-League and is leading the charges guiding the sidebacks with the off-side calls throughout the match.
Ram Malik and Sabeeth Sathyan will probably be injected into action to add fresh impetus to the attack. On the other hand, David Ngaihte will probably come in as a late substitute and will try to take advantage of the tired legs of the home team.
Tweet mentioning @Atanu00 to take part in half-time discussion. Massive pressure on the Mohun Bagan side and Odafa Okolie must live up to the occasion.
Half-time Scoreline: Mohun Bagan 0-1 Rangdajied United. 45 minutes of forgettable football from the Mariners. I can't remember the last time we have seen them running out of ideas so early.
45' + 1'
Katsumi shows his first glimpses of brilliance and goes past Thomas Saikhom on the left edge of the box. However, Tamba was alert to clear the ball and it goes out for a corner. Nothing comes out of it and it's halftime in the fixture.
ODAFA! CHANCE! OH NO! FOUL! The Nigerian went on to a one-on-on position but the referee blows his whistle for a foul. The striker will consider himself unlucky here.
A very insipid affair this has been so far. Only the midfield of Randajied has tried keeping in mind their limitations and that's the only aesthetic relief for the spectators.
Supporters starting to go berserk here. Some go back chants for Karim Bencherifa as well.
Eric! Once again! Do I need to repeat it all? His slow turning is the biggest opponent of Mohun Bagan on the field.
Yellow Card Denson Devadas
Denson Devadas pulls off a rash challenge near the corner flag and Santosh Kumar was not shy to take his card out.
Katsumi once again goes down under slight pressure but the official pays no heed to his appeal and the ball is lost.
It's 3 vs 1 in the rangdajied box and the gang comes out to be the winner after Odafa Okolie shows some tricks on the ball but Gouramangi and Lamine Tamba were alert and Subrata Pal has a clear gathering to stop him from restoring parity.
Manandeep shows a bit of skill but ultimately gives away the ball helplessly to Ichezona. Had little option available before him though.
SLOW LIKE A SNAIL! Eric Muranda had yards before him in the right wing but his procrastination once again helps his team little, as his weak effort could only claim a corner. Nothing comes out from the flag-kick though.
SUBRATA PAL! Comes off his line and clears the ball away from an onrushing Odafa Okolie to save his citadel. Brilliant brilliant outing from the Indian spiderman.
Once again, Manandeep Singh finds himself provided with a packet of space but he was marked well by Iche. No harm done to the home team.
Rangdajied seem to have claimed the complete domination of the midfield. Mohun Bagan need either a complete different plan or an in-form Odafa Okolie to turn the tide in their favour.
Mohun Bagan has suffered the early setback here and Eric Muranda unleashes a good shot on target, but no worry for Subrata Pal.
Goal Manandeep Singh
GOAALL!! MANANDEEP SINGH! Rangdajied United has the lead here. After dribbling past a couple of Mohun Bagan bodies, Iwasaki plays a good ball to the 6-yard box, and Manandeep proves out to be the fox in the box as he calmly slots the ball in. No chance for Sandip Nandi to stop the ball from going in.
Katsumi with one of his daunting runs down the middle and was completely unmarked but Shouvik Ghosh chose power over finesse while passing him the ball and it reaches Subrata Pal first.
Great vision shown by Manandeep as the Ex- East Bengal striker tries to feed Iwasaki with a great through ball in the left. But his pass was a bit slow and Pritam Kotal reaches the spot first and covers it to go out for a goal-kick. Good football all around.
Muranda! Once again. Every time he is dropping down to the midfield, he is playing spoilsport to a Bagan move.
CHANCE! After the first corner by Katsumi is cleared for another flag-kick, Denson sends in a great ball and Iche was in right place to nod the ball home. However, his header was just wide of the far post and didn't throw a challenge to Subrata Paul.
Shouvik Ghosh on a good overlapping mission and Adil Khan was prudent enough to feed him with a good diagonal ball in the wings. His delivery, however lacked power and it has now been cleared for a corner.
Rangdajied have the first corner of the game but the delivery is bad and Aibor clears it well. In the counter, Pratik Chowdhury marks Katsumi heavily and ultimately snatches the ball.
Rangdajied with an attacking move here. But the North Korean striker fails to reach the final ball and Sandip holds it safe.
OH MURANDA! Another very very bad touch from the foreigner. Tries out a backheel in the middle of the pitch and spoils a move in the bud.
Katsumi plays a tentative ball forward but Odafa was not interested in chasing the bad delivery and Rangdajied tries to build up a swift counter-attack. However, Shouvik Ghosh was alert and he closes down Manandep Singh well enough to rob him off the ball.
Muranda tries to play a backpass, but in turn gives away the ball to Song Yong, who was nowhere in the picture. Bad touch from the Kenyan, once again.
Good early action on the turf. After Gouramangi plays a tame back pass to Subrata Pal, the clearance of the custodian does not go too far and falls in the feet of Odafa, who was waiting on the edge of the box. He supplies the ball to Muranda, but his slow turning lets him down. Good intent shown though.
As Santosh Kumar blows the whistle, we are off! Game on in Kolkata.
Huddles on both sides of the pitch and the teams look determined to go for the three points.
I am Atanu Mitra and for the next 90 minutes, I will be taking through the action. You can also take part in discussion mentioning my twitter handle @Atanu00.
No TV telecast of the match and as usual, Goal’s live commentary remains your only way to get updated with minute-by-minute details straight from the venue.
After many a day, I have been reminded that Monotosh Ghosh wears the jersey no 1 for the Mariners. With Shilton out, he makes the bench.
The players have lined up for the pre-match handshakes.
Karim Bencherifa and Santosh Kashyap pose together before the cameras. A photographer's delight!
Very low turn up in the stadium. The attendance was at least double in yesterday's Mohammedan- Dempo match.
Rangdajied Line Up: Subrata, Saikhom, Gourangi, Lamine Tamba, Yohei Iwasaki, Munmun Lugun, Tomba Singh, Lyngdoh, Manandeep Singh, Pratik Chowdhury, Kim Song Young
With all due respect, the Rabindra Sangeets in the venue before the match do not add much to the ambience.
Santosh Kasyap has quite surprisingly dropped the young starlet David Ngaihte from the starting line-up. Rangdajied have three foreign players in their first XI with Edmar still out with a groin injury.
First XI for MB: Sandip, Eche, Aibor, Shouvik, Pritam, Kingshuk, Denson, Adil, Katsumi, Eric and Odafa. So, Adil Khan returns to first team action and Manish Bhargav makes way for him.
It remains to be seen whether Odafa Okolie can return to his talismanic form after a number of pale displays. Eric Harrison Muranda, the other striker of the team will also be under the scanner.
Speaking of the travellers, Rangdajied were termed as the minnows of the league and were considered a definite three-pointer for all other teams in the first few rounds. However, the Shillong side have bolstered their attack, brining in a number of experienced players from the IMG-Reliance players pool and look a formidable side of late.
Mohun Bagan have garnered only a single point from their last couple of matches, which were both derbies and anything short of three points today may well work as a spoilsport to the feel-good atmosphere that is prevailing in the Mohun Bagan tent despite their mediocre displays.
Hello and welcome to Goal’s live coverage of the I-League as another exciting encounter in the offing here at the Salt Lake stadium of Kolkata with Mohun Bagan playing host to the newly promoted Rangdajied United.
