And that's it! Full time. And it's 0-0 here in Milan. I've been Alex Mott, thanks for joining me.
90' + 3'
The last chance of the game falls to Cavani, who, at the far post, tries to turn a Zuniga cross in, but it's a poor effort and Amelia saves.
There'll be three minutes of added time here.
Yellow CardPaolo Cannavaro
A real scramble inside the Milan area sees Cavani try to get into a dcent shooting position. His fleet of foot can't quite work him enough room though, and Milan swarm bodies around him to clear.
Milan counter Napoli with Emanuelson playing in Robinho on the right-hand side of the area. The Brazilian is forced wide though, but manages to get a shot on target that De Sanctis pushes over.
Some great play by Ambrosini sees the veteran midfielder bulldoze his way through to the Napoli area, but he trips inside the area, and Napoli clear.
Robinho produces a moment of trickery to win a corner on the left. The former Santos man takes it himself, and whips in a brilliant ball towards the head of Thiago Silva. The Brazilian centre-back beats his man to the ball, but his header flies just wide.
Yellow CardPhilippe Mexes
Zuniga really has been lively today. This time, he draws a foul from Mexes on the halfway line, and the Frenchman is given a yellow card.
Yellow CardUrby Emanuelson
Oh dear. A corner for Napoli is played short. Hamsik, receiving the ball on the left, plays the ball low, to the edge of the area. On the edge of the area is Cannavaro, who, in true, central-defender style, swings his left foot, misses the ball, and Milan clear.
Milan win yet another corner, and for the ninth time today, it's absolutely rubbish.
That, is Napoli's best chance! A brilliant deep cross from Lavezzi is pin-pointed onto Cavani's head at the back post, but his header goes over the bar, when it looked easier to score. Unbelievable.
The game gets back underway, and Seedorf wins Milan a corner. The ball is put in from the left, aimed towards the far post, but goes over the head of Mexes and out for a throw in.
Red CardZlatan Ibrahimovic
IBRAHIMOVIC IS SENT OFF!
A replay has shown that Ibrahimoivc went up to Aronica after the referee had given a free kick, and slapped the defender across the face!
Yellow CardMorgan De Sanctis
Antonini puts in a cross from the left-hand byline that is aimed towards the far post. Aronica clears, but only as far as the edge of the area, but as Robinho is about to shoot, the referee blows for a free kick to Napoli.
Yellow CardEdinson Cavani
A mix-up in the Napoli defence is very nearly seized upon by Ibrahimovic, but at the last moment, Cannavaro comes across and tackles the Swedish international just as he was about to go through on goal.
OHHHH. Seedorf hasn't done an awful lot today, but that was very nearly a goal. A cross from the right drops just outside the 18yd box, and the Dutchman swings his right foot at it first time, and sends the ball inches over the bar.
ANOTHER corner. And another corner that's just inexcusably bad. This time it's Seedorf who whips it in. And I say 'whip' in the looses sense of the word.
Up the other end, and Campagnaro has given away a corner to Milan. Once again though, the ball in is a poor one, and Napoli clear.
This game is really opening up now. Hamsik plays in Zuniga on the left, but his cross is deflected wide for a corner. The subsequent ball though, is a poor one, and Milan clear.
A glorious opportunity for Milan is missed by Robinho! Emanuelson plays the Brazilian through one-on-one, but the former Man City man slots it wide of the left-hand post. That, should have been 1-0.
Emanuelson finds Ibrahimovic superbly, inside the area. The former Barca man, turns, tries to flick it inside to the on-rushing Seedorf, but the pass is slightly to weak, and Napoli manage to clear away the danger.
The consensus on Twitter at halftime seemed to be that Antonini should makes way for El Shaarawy, with Emanuelson moving to left back. As it is, Amelia has come on for Abbiati.
We're back underway here in Milan. And it's Napoli who will start us off, kicking from left-to-right.
I'll be back in 15 minutes for the second half, but in the meantime, do send me any thoughts you may have on the game via Twitter, @alexjmott.
And that's it. Half time. A really even game so far here at the San Siro.
That's really poor from Milan. A short throw from Abbiati towards Abate is intercepted by Cavani. The Uruguayan then turns, and tries to bend the ball round the 'keeper into the far corner. His shot is wide though, and Milan escape.
Milan have a corner, but the ball is cleared easily by Aronica. The clearance though, is only as far as Emanuelson, and he tries to put it back in towards the head of Mexes. The Frenchman can't quite get to it though, and the ball runs away for a throw in.
Yellow CardC. Seedorf
Seedorf puts his boot up far too high, trying to win the ball, and Gargano goes down holding his face. He'll be ok though, but Seedorf is given a yellow card.
Napoli then counter, once again, to brilliant effect: going from a last-ditch block to winning a corner within 10 seconds. The ball though, knocked on at the near post, is cleared by Mexes, and Milan breath easily.
Some brilliant last-ditch defending from Napoli there. Robinho turning left, then right, gest away from the Partenopei defence momentarily, but first Cannavro, then Aronica throw their bodies in front of the ball just as the Brazilian is about to pull the trigger.
Maggio concedes a free kick just outside the area on the left-hand side, after coming through the back of Seedorf. Ibrahimovic lines up to take it, bit his shot hits the top of the wall, and Napoli scramble the ball away.
Ibrahimovic plays the ball out wide to Antonioli, who inturn puts in a delicious first time cross that Cannavaro boots away for a corner. The subsequent ball is poor though, and Napoli get the ball away from danger.
Emanuelson has Milan's best chance of the game! A cross from the left by Nocerino finds the former Ajax man at the far post, and with just the one touch, caresses the ball back across goal, only to see his shot go inches over the bar.
It's Milan's turn to attack now, and Nocerino, the midfielder who's looked every inch the centre-forward this season, just can't quite get a decent enough touch on the ball inside the box, as Aronica clears.
It looked there as if Cavani might be through, but Van Bommel used his pace ( I know, I know. Here me out) and managed to just pass the ball back to Abbiati in the nick of time.
Silva wanders upfield, and looks to play the ball to the feet of Robinho. The Brazilian's touch is poor though, and Cannavaro tackles, comes away with the ball, and releases to Maggio on the right. The Italian then drives forward, puts in a fantastic deep cross to Lavezzi at the far post, but the Argentine can't quite get a good enough touch on the ball to get a shot away first time. A chance wasted for Napoli there. Great counter-attacking though.
Napoli are really taking the game to Milan here. Zuniga, in particular, has been a real thorn in the Rossoneri's side. Remember, if you have any comments/questions etc on the game, drop me a line @alexjmott.
Maggio gets his first real run with the ball, and plays in Hamsik on the right-hand edge of the area. The Slovakian then, with his second touch, rifes in a beautiful shot that Abbiati parries away.
Zuniga toys with Abate on the left. Turns one way, and then the other, and then puts in a ball that's deflected for a corner by Mexes. Lavezzi whips it in, but the Abate is there at the near post, and clears the ball away.
Yellow CardMark van Bommel
Cavani is caught late by Van Bommel on the edge of the area, and a free kick is given. The shot though, is a poor one from Dzemaili, as he fires well over the bar.
Napoli, who are so good on the counter-attack, come forward with the ball from that Cannavaro header. Hamsik, down the right, cuts a ball back from the byline to Cavani, but the Uruguayan is off balance and fires wide from about 12yds.
Abate whips in a fantastic ball from the right-hand side, but no one is on the end of it, and Cannavaro heads clear.
Seedorf has the first shot of the game. Receiving the ball in the centre of the pitch, 25yds from goal, the Dutch maestro takes a touch and shoots straight at De Sanctis, who saves easily.
Emmanuel Asiedu on Twitter, thinks Milan are going to win this 3-0. But just as he says that, Napoli have a free kick in a dangerous area, just off of the byline, 30yds from goal. The ball in from Zuniga is poor though, and once again, Abbiati claims well.
Ibrahimovic is played through by Seedorf, but the big Swede takes a tumble inside the area. The referee waves play on though, and Napoli clear the danger.
A corner for Napoli from the left-hand side. It's taken short, and Zuniga, with his second touch, whips it in. Abbiati is strong though, and comes through a block of players to collect.
The first thing to say about the conditions is that, they've really taken their toll on the pitch. It looks awful.
And already, from kick off, Milan lose possession. Antonioli miscontrols from, and the ball goes out for a throw in to Napoli on the right-hand side. Not the best start for the Rossoneri!
Here we go then. The waiting is finally over. Milan will get us underway, kicking from left-to-right.
Kick off is less than 10 minutes away now, and the atmosphere here at the San Siro is electric. Depite the temperature!
As always, if you have any comments/predictions/thoughts on today's game, do drop me a line @alexjmott on Twitter.
And Napoli: (3-4-3) De Sanctis; Campagnaro, Cannavaro, Aronica; Maggio, Gargano, Dzemaili, Zuniga; Lavezzi, Hamsik, Cavani.
The team news is in, and Milan look like this: (4-3-1-2) Abbiati; Abate, Mexes, Silva, Antonioni; Van Bommel, Nocernio, Emanuelson; Seedorf; Ibrahimovic, Robinho.
The Rossoneri will be confident going into the game today, despite their loss to Lazio on Wednesday. The last time Milan lost to Napoli at the San Siro, Maradona scored the winner. Having said that though, Allegri's side have already lost two games in 2012, compared to just three in throughout the entirity of 2011.
I'm Alex Mott, and I'll be your commentator for today's game. And what a game it promises to be. The reverse fixture, back in September, finished Napoli 3-1 Milan, with Edison Cavani bagging an exceptional hat-trick. Mazzarri's side though, haven't quite hit those heights that regularly this season, but always seem to raise their game when the big sides come around.
Afternoon everyone, and welcome to Goal.com's LIVE, play-by-play coverage of AC Milan vs Napoli. This game was meant to be played tonight, but due to the freak cold snap that's engulfed Europe, kick off is at 15.00 CET.
