Made an excellent save in the early going from D’Agostino’s free kick and looked solid throughout. Preserved the victory with a late save on Ljajic.
Showed off his long range shooting skills by almost finding the bottom corner in the 65th minute. Didn't put a foot wrong all night. A good display from the Brazilian.
A solid if unspectacular showing from the veteran defender. Did his job with minimal fuss this evening.
His wicked shot in the first minute forced Boruc into making an acrobatic save and he looked comfortable for the remainder of the contest.
The classy Italian was rarely troubled at the back and made a couple of forays forward, one of which saw him direct a header straight at Boruc. Did well to neutralise the threat of Gilardino.
The midfield terrier had a good chance to score a rare goal but couldn't fire the ball past Boruc in the 27th minute. Shackled D'Agostino in the second half.
The smooth Dutchman was robbed by Boruc in the 28th minute and had his way in midfield tonight. Looks revitalised under coach Massimiliano Allegri.
The former Arsenal man’s work-rate is exemplary and he will feel aggrieved that he wasn't awarded a penalty in the second half.
A calm and composed display from the captain who supplied the pass to set up the only goal of the game.
A very pedestrian first 43 minutes and poof… shows off his magic with a sensational acrobatic volley to score what turned out to be the winner. Delivering the goods for the Rossoneri so far this season.
A decent display by the speedy Brazilian. Sent in some dangerous crosses but would have liked to have troubled the Viola back-four a more than he was able to this evening.
The Polish shot-stopper made a number of excellent saves but had no chance on Ibrahimovic’s acrobatic effort. Kept his side in the game this evening. Unlucky to be on the losing side.
The big, lumbering centre-back dealt well with the quickness of Ibrahimovic and Robinho but didn't come out for the second half because of injury.
The veteran defender would have opened the scoring in the 19th minute if not for the heroics of Abbiati. Showed his frustration when he was sent off at the death.
His defending left a lot to be desired for Ibra’s goal and gave away possession more times than a full-back really should.
Flamini's bursting runs gave Pasqual some problems at times but didn't make any glaring mistakes and put in a solid shift.
The 23-year-old was unable to stamp his authority on the match and tried to win a penalty minutes before being hooked at the hour mark.
The captain made a point of shadowing Seedorf for a majority of the game and did a decent job. Was a bit fortunate he wasn't called for a handball in the penalty area in the second half.
World class deliveries from set pieces in the first half. His sweet left-footed freekick in the second minute almost opened the scoring. Faded badly in the second half and it's evident he doesn't have a full 90 minutes in his legs at the moment.
Completely anonymous and rightfully hooked in the second half.
The recently capped Serb international should have done better with a header in the 28th minute and had a glorious chance to level matters with just minutes remaining.
Played as the lone striker as was starved of service for chunks of the match. Couldn't really get anything going but popped up late in the game to set up Ljajic on a platter.

A shadow of his former self.

Was thrown straight into the fire and did an admirable job marking Ibrahimovic. A gutsy display tonight in difficult circumstances.
He was selfish at times and picked the wrong option on occasion.
