Fulltime at Wembley! United have come from 2-0 down to win, with many thanks owed to a brilliant Nani performance, and great all round effort from their whole team in the second half.

GOAL!!!! Kompany has made me eat my words! United cleared the ball from a City free-kick and the Belgian should have cleared the ball back towards the United area, but Nani nicked the ball and was through one-on-one with Hart. He rounded the keeper and scored. United look set to win the 2011 Community Shield.

This match is getting closer and closer to a penalty shoot-out, which will unfortunately signify the end of a fantastic match.
United putting on some late pressure with yet another brilliant move. Smalling and Nani linked up again down the right with the big defender murdering Clichy, before finding Nani once again, but nothing comes of the move as Nani's shot is blocked and Cleverley's attempt is blasted over.
United win a corner. Good move by United as Cleverley finds himself out on the right wing and delivers a good cross, but Kompany heads over. The corner eventually comes to nothing as Berbatov gets ready to come on.
City now looking to attack. United defending well as Evans hurls himself at a Barry cross. Silva is trying to get a bit more involved, as is Toure, with the Ivorian smashing a shot over the bar.
Although Young has been effective in terms of linking up with United's other attackers and his delivery for Smalling's goal, but he has been very disappointing in relation to attacking his marker. He has rarely looked to try and beat his man, unlike the very exciting Nani.
Smalling has been a brilliant outlet on the right-flank today for United as he plays in a teasing ball, but Richards is able to clear, before the ball eventually finds its way to Cleverley who goes for goal, but his attempt was high and wild.
The United subs, particuarly Cleverley, have been very impressive so far. He has linked up very nicely with another play who has impressed; Anderson.
Here's a quick update from Greg Stobart: This is the most entertaining Community Shield match for many years and it has now been marked by a quite wonderful goal. United have been passing with pace and intricacy throughout the game and it came off perfectly as Nani equalised for Sir Alex Ferguson's side. The United fans in the red half of this stadium are, to a man, on their feet as they urge their players to find a third goal.
Rooney smashes it into the wall and nothing comes of it. Disappointing.
United have a free-kick in a very dangerous position. Rooney or Nani to take.
Welbeck involved again as he picks up the ball on the left wing and delivers a tantalising cross with his left foot, but Young and Rooney can't quite get to it as the ball flashes across the face of the goal
Lescott saves City! Rooney and Welbeck combined well and just when the former Everton man was about to thread through the unmarked Nani to his right, but Lescott stretched and made the tackle. The blues were in trouble there!
City can't get out of their own half here, and when they look like they might, Evans or Jones pushes up to make interceptions. United seem to be very fluid in attack with Rooney, Young, Welbeck and Nani all interchanging.
United have blown City away so far in this second half. The football they are showcasing is simply excellent and City are struggling to cope, hence why Mancini has brought on Gareth Barry for the ineffective Balotelli.
Yellow CardAleksandar Kolarov
WHAT A GOAL!!!!! NANI!!! Quite brilliant play by United. A move that included a great cameo from Cleverley, Rooney and Welbeck ends up with Rooney finding Cleverley in the box before flicking through for Nani who finished well. Brilliant goal.
Yellow CardJames Milner
City were so close to being through there! Evans gave possession away in a dangerous position, but Dzeko failed to pick out Silva in the box and Evans broke back up the pitch.
United had started off this second 45 very well and the goal is nothing more than they deserved after their performance in the first half.
GOAL!!!! UNITED BACK IN IT! Young delivers a fantastic ball from a deep free-kick and Chris Smalling creeps in behind Lescott and loses Dzeko before knocking the ball past Hart. We could have some second half here!
First chance of the second half goes to United. Cleverley played a neat chipped pass into the box, but Welbeck's header sails wide of the post.
The three United subs would seem to suggest Ferguson has atleast one eye on next weekends Premier League opener at West Brom.
United have made three of the six subsitutions they have been allocated. Jones, Evans and Cleverley are all on, whilst Vidic, Ferdinand and Carrick have been replaced.
And City kick off the second half at Wembley.
Here's an interesting fact from Opta, Manchester United debutant David De Gea conceded 11 goals from out the area in La Liga last season, more than any other goalkeeper.
Here's a halftime update from Greg: What a thoroughly entertaining half of football and it finished with a spectacular moment as Edin Dzeko smashed Manchester City into a 2-0 lead over their bitter rivals. The strike bore echoes of Lionel Messi's goal in this stadium in the Champions League final in May, swerving and deceiving David De Gea in the United goal. The Spaniard should have done better but full credit to Dzeko for having the confidence and the skill to execute the strike.
And it is halftime at Wembley. United will be pleased with the first 30 minutes as they controlled the match, but it all went wrong when Lescott scored seven minutes from the break. United have a mountain to climb.
45' + 1'
45' + 1'
GOAL!!! City double their lead! Edin Dzeko is allowed to charge towards the area and the Bosnia strikes from some 30 yards and finds the bottom corner. De Gea in the United net will be very disappointed with himself their as it was hardly out of his reach and he moved very late.
City are looking very confident at the moment, knocking the ball around well and defending well when they have to.
Yellow CardPatrice Evra
Evra has given away a free-kick in a similar postition to the one that lead to the goal. However, Silva's attempt hits Anderson and goes over for a corner. City definitely on top now.
GOAL!!!!! City take the lead!! David Silva played in a briliant free-kick from the right wing and Joleon Lescott rose above Rooney and Ferdinand to nod past De Gea. Against the run of play, but this will change the game.
Just wide of the post! Nani went for goal from the free-kick Welbeck won and it whistles past Hart's right hand post. Very close.
There are some very heavy tackles flying in here, particuarly from City as Nigel de Jong recklessly hacks down Welbeck, 30 yards from goal.
Yellow CardYaya Touré
Lucky escape for United there! Kolarov whipped in the ball from the left and Silva flicked it on at the front post, but the ball is deflected out for a corner. Had there not have been a deflection, De Gea could've been in trouble.
More histrionics from Balotelli as the Italian roles around on the floor after a fantastically clean tackle from Nani. The ball in put out of play, Balotelli gets up.
First real chance for City! Yaya Toure surged forward and found Silva who threaded a clever ball through to Milner, but his shot took a slight deflection and wide of De Gea's right post. Despite the deflection, City aren't given a corner.
Nani and Welbeck almost combine to devastating effect! Nani back-heeled to Welbeck, who returned the favour with another clever flick, and Nani once again played Welbeck into space, who yet again looked for the Portuguese winger just inside the box, but United are awarded a corner.
Here's another update from Greg: "The atmosphere has ratcheted up a notch following that horrible challenge by Micah Richards on Ashley Young, for which he was lucky not to be sent-off. Roberto Mancini doesn't look best pleased on the touchline, gesturing for the City midfielders to put more pressure on United. The Premier League champions have been the better side in the opening quarter of the game and their attacking pace has caused problems for the City defence."
Good effort by Rooney! The attacker looked to curl the free-kick into the top far corner, but the attempt was just a bit too high.
Yellow CardMicah Richards
Ashley Young has seen a lot of possession on United's left flank so far, but has failed to deliver any telling crosses yet. The England international wins a free-kick just outside the box however after a wild lunge by Richards.
Yellow CardEdin Dzeko
United almost carve open another chance as Smalling - playing at right-back - unleashes a brilliant pass down the right wing for Nani, but when the Portuguese winger got to goal-line and cut the ball back, City are able to clear.
Wayne Rooney has been disappointing so far, however that may be more of a reflection on Kompany's performance.
Balotelli and Vidic escape trouble as the two square-up head-to-head after the Italian was displeased with the United captain's close marking. However, the former Inter man was overreacting given there wasn't much wrong with Vidic's actions.
City are showcasing some sloppy passing here at the moment, but United's passing in the final third hasn't been much better as Nani attempts a flashy, chipped ball into the box but goes to no one.
The match has settled down a bit after a very frantic opening.
United have started off as the better side so far with their front four looking very dynamic and fluid, something that could cause City an enormous number of problems.
United so nearly take the lead!! The corner wasn't cleared by the Blues and Danny Welbeck attempted an over-head kick, but it fell to Nani whose shot was miss hit before then giving Smalling a chance, but his shot is blocked on the line.
United win a corner after Young's shot is deflected wide.
Moments in and United win a free-kick on the left wing through Patrice Evra, but Young's delivery is cleared fairly easily by the City defence.
And we're off at Wembley!
Here's a quick update from our man at Wembley, Greg Stobart: "All set here at Wembley, where the pre-match atmosphere suggests there will be nothing 'friendly' about this clash between these two Manchester rivals. The City end is not quite full but they have just performed a breathtaking 'Poznan' dance prior to kick-off. No doubt at all now: football is back."
Manchester City line-up as follows: Joe Hart; Micah Richards, Joleon Lescott, Vincent Kompany, Aleksandar Kolarov; Nigel de Jong, David Silva, Yaya Toure, James Milner; Mario Balotelli, Edin Dzeko Substitutes: Taylor, Wright-Phillips, Adam Johnson, Savic, Aguero, Barry, Clichy
The Manchester United team for today is: De Gea; Smalling, Rio, Vidic, Evra; Nani, Carrick, Anderson, Young; Rooney, Welbeck Substitutes: Lindegaard, Jones, Evans, Cleverley, Rafael, Park, Berbatov
