Fulham have been piling on the pressure but as Skrtel clears the ball from danger the referee's whistle sounds to the delight of the Anfield croud and enny Dalglish has secured his first home win since replacing Roy Hodgson.

Great play by Glen Johnson who shows pace and skill before cutting inside and making his way into the Fulham area only to be tackled by Aaron Hughes and Fulham clear.
Gerrard races back to rob Murphy of possesion and put the ball out of play for a Fulham corner.
Dempsey rides the challenges of Agger and then Skrtel before shooting from the edge of the Liverpool penalty area but his shot drifts high and wide of the post.
Liverpool win a free-kick inside the Fulham half. It's taken by Gerrard but it's a poor effort and the midfielder sends the ball straight out of play.
Gera crosses into the Liverpool area to Johnson but the strikers effort goes straight into the arms of Pepe Reina.
Martin Kelly goes flying down the right wing yet again but Dembele gets shoulder to shoulder with him and puts the ball out of play for a throw in.
Torres breaks forward down the left and looks for Maxi but his pass is blocked and Fulham brea down the attack.

A series of challenges go flying in from Liverpool and Pantsil reacts and is clearly still unhappy following the challenge from Agger. The referee tries to bring the situation under control and Pantsil picks up a yellow card for his troubles.
Fulham have a free-kick 25-yards from goal. It's taken by Danny Murphy and goes just wide.
Agger goes in hard on Pantsil and wins the ball but the Fulham player was not happy with that one and seems to have picked up a knock from the challenge.
Damien Duff is replaced by Zoltan Gera as Fulham look for a way back into the match.
Dempsey shoots from distance but his effort is way off the mark and its a goal-kick to Liverpool.
Pantsil crosses from the right and the ball meets Demsey who hits it first time but his volley is comfortably daved by Reina.
Poulsen brings down Dembele inside the Fulham half and Duff will take the free-kick.
Liverpool have responded very well since their goal, their keeping the ball well and are looking for a second.

An awful gooal from a Fulham perspective as Torres picks the ball up on the edge of the penalty area, his shot his deflected off the challenge of the Fulham defender. The deflection evades Stockdale and with two defenders and Meireles competing for it on the goal line the ball finally trickles in off Pantsil.

Half-time from Anfield with the only real talking point the early Torres goal which was controversially ruled out.

Kelly crosses from the right once again and find Torres but the strikers header goes behind for a goal kick.
There will be one minute of injury time added on in the first half.
The ball is played into the Liverpool area for Andy Johnson but Glen Johnson gets there first and nods it back to Reina.
Gerrard plays it over the top for Meireles to run onto but the midfielder goes down before he can get there and Fulham regain possesion.
The Liverpool corner is taken by Gerrard and headed clear by Hughes.
Another cross from Kelly who whips it in to Maxi who's shot is deflected behind for a corner.
Meireles passes to Agger who fancies his chances and has a go from 30-yards out but his ambitous attempt goes wide.
The ball is played through to Andy Johnson who appears to have beaten the offside trap and be through on goal but the linesman has his flag up and the striker is penalised for a hand-ball.
A chance for Torres as Glen Johnson shows great skill before crossing for the striker but the Spaniards' shot is blocked by the Fulham defence!
Another chance for Fulham as Johnson crosses for Dembele who's shot is hit straight at Reina. He should have scored there!
Kelly loses the ball to Dembele in a dangerous area, he plays it to Dempsey who forces a good save from Reina.
Glen Johnson makes a great run and cuts inside. He shoots from the edge of the Fulham penalty area but Stockdale manages to tip his powerful effort over the bar.
Kelly passes the ball to Gerrard who runs into the Fulham area but the Liverpool captain can't make good contact and pokes the ball out of play for a Fulham goal-kick.
Murphy clips in the free-kick but the Fulham players don't react and Reina comes and collects the ball with ease.
A spell of possesion for Fulham as they look to get the ball into the Liverpool box. Poulsen fouls Dembele and Fulham have a free-kick 30-yards from goal.
Maxi is brought down in his own area by Danny Murphy and Liverpool have a free-kick.
Glenn Johnson cuts inside and crosses into the Fulham area but the visitors get in clear.
A moment of pressure from Fulham as Dempsey drives a lw cross into the area but Skrtlel gets there first and clears the ball.
Torress must be feeling lucky today as he unleashes a volley from 25-yards out which goes flying over the bar.
Liverpool win a corner as Hughes gets in the way of Dirk Kuyt's cross and the ball goes out of play.
Great save! Stockdale pulls off a terrific save after Martin Kelly crosses from the right. Meireles meets the cross and heads a great effort on goal but the goalkeeper saves to deny Liverpool the lead.
Glen Johnson breaks forward down the right and whips a cross in but he is unable to find a red shirt.
A chance for Dirk Kuyt as he tests the goalkeeper but again the linesman has his flag up and this time he's got it right with the forward in an offside position.
Almost! Torres is played through by Meireles and puts it past the keep to score however the linesman had his flag up and the goal is disallowed for offside. Liverpool and Toress perhaps have the right to feel a bit hard done to there.
Murphy whips the free-kick in which is met by Aaron Hughes who glances his header wide.
Andy Johnson is brought downby Skrteland Fulham win a free-kick deep into the Liverpool half which will be taken by Danny Murphy.
Plenty of early possesion from the visitors and Andy Johnson puts Agger under a bit of pressure near his own area but the defender manages to get it clear.
Fulhamget the gamestartedand will be attacking the Kop end during the first half...
Fulham have failed to score in seven of their nine Premier League visits to Anfield, including the last four and Mark Hughes will be hoping totake something from this Fulham look to pull themselves awayfrom the relegation zone.
