So, it ends a point apiece. Juventus host Galatasaray on Wednesday October 2 in their next Champions League group match whilst FC Copenhagen face a daunting trip to Real Madrid, who finished as 6-1 winners this evening. That's all from me, folks. Until next time, goodbye!
FT: Copenhagen 1-1 Juventus. The Danish champions survive a second half onslaught from the Italian champions to claim a valuable point at the Parken Stadium. Nicolai Jorgensen gave Stale Solbakken's side a dream start when he poked home Pierre Bengtsson's free kick before Fabio Quagliarella levelled from Federico Peluso's low cross. Johan Wiland was undoubtedly the Copenhagen hero with a fine display between the sticks to deny a late flurry of Juventus pressure.
90' + 3'
WHAT A CHANCE FOR TEVEZ! Giovinco chips a ball out to the right for Isla and the Chilean sends a teasing ball across goal which Tevez somehow diverts the wrong side of the post. That was the opportunity for Juventus to win it!
90' + 1'
Yellow Card Arturo Vidal
90' + 1'
Vidal shows his frustration late on and joins Peluso and Lichtsteiner in the referee's notebook for a mistimed tackle. Two minutes of stoppage time remaining.
Juventus are throwing everything at Copenhagen and Gislason produces a fantastic block to deny Chiellini a late winner. The clock is ticking down for Conte's side.
You can sense the anxiety around the Parken Stadium as Juventus continue to exert pressure on the Copenhagen goal. Can they find a late winner?
Both managers opt to make a final change. Stale Solbakken throws on defender Margreitter to keep things tight in the closing stages whilst Mauricio Isla replaces Stephan Lichtsteiner for Juventus.
Juventus continue to threaten but another chance is wasted as De Ceglie fails to pick out Giovinco with his cutback.
WILAND TO THE RESCUE AGAIN! The Copenhagen shotstopper has been marvellous tonight and he keeps his side in it with a fine save to prevent Giovinco one-on-one.
Arturo Vidal has been in fine goalscoring form recently but he opts for an ambitious diagonal drive from distance which flashes over the crossbar, much to the displeasure of his teammates.
Real Madrid are now 4-0 up against Galatasaray as Ronaldo bags his second. Who can join the Spanish giants on three points here?
HOW MANY MORE CHANCES FOR JUVENTUS! First of all, Tevez forces Wiland into a wonderful save from the edge of the box before moments later, Pogba nods a header inches wide of the post. Can Copenhagen cling on for a point?
Conte makes his second switch of the game, replacing the goalscorer Fabio Quagliarella with Sebastian Giovinco.
GOOD CHANCE FOR VIDAL! Quagliarella has been impressive in this second half and he cushions a header down for Vidal who can only fire straight at the legs of Wiland.
Real Madrid have wrapped up the points in the other Group B contest as Cristano Ronaldo has put Carlo Ancelotti's side 3-0 up away at Galatasaray.
Paolo De Ceglie
Antonio Conte opts to make his first change, replacing the impressive Federico Peluso with the birthday boy, Paolo De Ceglie, who turned 27 today.
Carlos Tevez looks to wriggle his way past several Copenhagen defenders but Delaney gets back brilliantly to dispossess the Argentine. Can the Danish champions hold on?
JORGENSEN GOES CLOSE! The Danish forward goes close to scoring his second of the game, bursting past Pirlo before sending a fizzing strike narrowly over the crossbar with Buffon scrambling.
Stale Solbakken opts to make the first change of the game, replacing top goalscorer Fanendo Adi with Rurik Gislason.
Juventus continue to press and Wiland is called into action again as he produces a comfortable stop to deny Pogba's shot from the edge of the box.
Incidentally, Real Madrid have gone 2-0 up away at Galatasaray in the other Group B match, Benzema with the goal.
QUAGLIARELLA HITS THE BAR! Juventus continue to keep up the pressure and Lichsteiner's cross is glanced by the head of Quagliarella and onto the woodwork.
Chiellini is writhing on the turf after he is caught by a challenge from Jorgensen. There was certainly no malice intended in that tackle, it actually seemed that he won the ball.
Juventus are in the ascendency here and Mellberg is required to make a crucial header to prevent Vidal nodding in Lichtsteiner's cross. Moments later, Pirlo lines up a shot from the edge of the box and it is palmed to safety excellently by Wiland.
Peluso is getting into some fantastic positions down the left and he crosses the ball towards the back post but Lichtsteiner leans back and blasts his volley high and wide of Wiland's goal.
Adi holds the ball up well to allow his teammates to join in the attack and the Nigerian striker rolls the ball back for Claudemir whose curling effort goes narrowly over the crossbar. They're certainly not letting that goal get them down.
Assist Federico Peluso
Goal Fabio Quagliarella
QUAGLIARELLA MAKES IT 1-1! He's hardly had a touch of the ball tonight but he rewards his manager's faith by steering Peluso's low cross past Wiland and into the roof of the net. Fine finish, game on!
TEVEZ SHOULD SCORE! Pirlo plays a wonderful ball over the Copenhagen defence for Tevez to run onto one-on-one but Wiland makes himself look big and produces a fine save. With the Argentine's recent goalscoring form, you expect him to score there.
Tevez looks the most likely to make things happen for Juventus and he plays a clever pass into the feet of Pogba but the Frenchman can't quite get the ball under control and Bolanos steals possession.
Yellow Card Federico Peluso
Yellow Card Stephan Lichtsteiner
Yellow Card Pierre Bengtsson
Three bookings within a minute! First, Bengtsson is booked for time-wasting before Peluso is cautioned for simulation. Lichtsteiner shortly joins them in the book for dissent.
It's been a bright start to the second half for Juventus and Jacobsen makes a crucial interception to prevent Peluso from latching onto Tevez's intended reverse pass.
The teams re-emerge from the tunnels for the second half and there are no signs of any substitutes as far as I can see. Can Copenhagen hold on for a famous victory and their first home win since March?
HT: Copenhagen 1-0 Juventus. Stale Solbakken's side hold a surprise lead at the break courtesy of Nicolai Jorgensen's close range finish. The Danish champions have battled hard and really frustrated the Serie A holders, who have been well below par. Can Antonio Conte's side bounce back in the second half?
Yellow Card Olof Mellberg
This time it is Claudemir's time to showboat and he produces some fine trickery to fool Tevez. The home fans are loving every minute and there are cheers of 'Ole' every time they make a successful pass. Juventus are getting frustrated here.
Beautiful skill from Pogba as he deceives Mellberg down by the corner flag and the Swede hacks him down for the first booking of the game.
I imagine there will be strict words at half-time from Antonio Conte as Juventus have really lacked a fluidity to their play. It's been sloppy on their part and you can hardly begrudge Copenhagen their lead.
GOOD CHANCE FOR JUVENTUS! Peluso is beginning to get into more advanced positions down the left and Tevez finds the wing-back out wide but his testing cross is miskicked by Lichtsteiner and Copenhagen survive.
The Copenhagen front duo are working tirelessly and Adi forces Chiellini into a risky backpass which Buffon does well to reach, preventing Jorgensen from doubling his tally.
Incidentally, there has been a goal in the other game in this group and Real Madrid lead Galatasaray courtesy of Isco.
POGBA GOES CLOSE! Peluso finds good space on the left for the first time in the match and his cross into the middle is met by the head of Pogba but flashes narrowly wide of the target.
Quagliarella has been given the chance to shine tonight, having played a marginalised role in Juventus' season so far. However, it is safe to say that he has been rather anonymous in the opening 35 minutes.
Juventus are piling on the pressure here but they are struggling to test Wiland in the Copenhagen goal. Tevez makes space for himself on the edge of the box but curls an effort just over the bar.
Copenhagen have faced Italian opposition four times in European competition, suffering three defeats with only a single victory to their name. That was when they beat Lazio 2-1 in the 2001/02 UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.
Copenhagen have every man pegged back inside their box to defend a corner and they clear Pirlo's delivery once again before Bonucci balloons a shot over from the edge of the box.
Copenhagen are defending bravely from set pieces and Adi is back there again to head clear Pirlo's inviting delivery. Conte will not be too pleased with his side's showing so far.
Braaten looks to run at Lichtsteiner and executes a neat stepover but the Swiss wing-back jockeys him excellently and diverts his shot behind for a corner.
Copenhagen are not giving up hope of another goal themselves however and Buffon needs to race off his line quickly to punch clear Jorgensen's teasing cross.
WHAT A MISS FROM POGBA! Copenhagen's goal is living a charmed life in the last minute or so as the French midfielder somehow blasts the ball over from about six yards out. Can Antonio Conte's side make their pressure count?
WHAT A SAVE FROM WILAND! The goalkeeper produces a fantastic point-blank save to turn Chiellini's diving header over the crossbar, when it seemed certain that the net would bulge.
Juventus are looking to get Lichtsteiner more involved down the right-hand side here. We haven't seen much from Pogba or Vidal so far.
Remember that Copenhagen have not won a match at home since a 2-1 victory over AC Horsens on March 15. Can they end that wretched run with a famous three points this evening?
Juventus look to respond immediately and Tevez's low shot from the edge of the box is parried by Wiland who gets up quickly to collect Quagliarella's cross.
Goal Nicolai Jörgensen
COPENHAGEN TAKE THE LEAD! Bengtsson lofts a free kick into the box and the Juventus defence just cannot deal with it, allowing Nicolai Jorgensen to poke the loose ball home from close range. 1-0 to the Danes!
Bolanos looks to clip a neat ball over the top of the Juve defence for Braaten, who had lost the marking of Lichtsteiner, but the 31-year-old is denied a shot on goal by the linesman's flag. Promising from the Danish champions.
This is Juventus' second visit to the Danish capital in successive seasons, following last year's 1-1 group stage draw at Nordsjælland in which Vučinić scored a late equaliser.
Leonardo Bonucci's sloppy pass puts Juventus under pressure but the Italian international is fortunate to watch Adi's effort deflect kindly into the gloves of Buffon.
Two early goals in the Champions League elsewhere as holders Bayern Munich take a 1-0 lead over CSKA Moscow whilst Benfica also lead Anderlecht 1-0.
TEVEZ GOES CLOSE! That's straight off the training ground that one! Pirlo slides a low corner towards the edge of the six-yard box but Tevez cannot quite wrap his foot around it and watches the ball go narrowly wide.
Pirlo whips a dangerous free kick into the box but Adi is back to perform his defensive duties and heads clear.
The home crowd jeer loudly as Juventus enjoy their first spell of possession. Lichtsteiner looks to get in on the right corner of the box but Bengtsson gets across to make a good interception.
Bengtsson looks to flight the ball over the wall but he can only strike the frame of Bonucci. Disappointing.
Great chance for Copenhagen here as Adi is fouled rather clumsily by Ogbonna on the edge of the box. Can Copenhagen test Buffon?
The referee blows his whistle and the Champions League group stages are underway. FC Copenhagen get the ball rolling.
Oh, Ive missed that sound. The Champions League anthem echoes around the stadium with both sides looking prepped and ready for action. Kick-off is moments away.
The teams emerge from the tunnels and receive a rapturous reception from the packed-out Parken Stadium. Copenhagen are in their traditional white jerseys with Juventus in their alternative yellow strip.
Olof Mellberg is a familiar face in the FC Copenhagen line-up and the Swedish centre-back played for Juventus in 2008/09, scoring two goals in 27 Serie A games.
Antonio Conte also decides to freshen up his line-up, making three changes. Andrea Barzagli is rested, meaning a first Champions League appearance for Angelo Ogbonna whilst Federico Peluso and Fabio Quagliarella are preferred to Kwadwo Asamoah and Mirko Vucinic.
Stale Solbakken makes two changes to the side which drew 1-1 with Esbjerg at the weekend, both coming in midfield. Daniel Braaten comes in for his first start in place of Thomas Kristensen whilst Thomas Delaney replaces Igor Vitokele.
JUVENTUS (3-5-2): Buffon; Bonucci, Ogbonna, Chiellini; Lichtsteiner, Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Peluso; Quagliarella, Tevez.
COPENHAGEN (4-4-2): Wiland; Jacobsen, Mellberg, R Sigurdsson, Bengtsson, Bolanos, Claudemir, Delaney, Braaten; Adi, N Jorgensen.
Without any further ado, here are tonight's lineups...
As for Juventus, they have enjoyed a promising start to their campaign, lifting the Italian Super Cup and gaining seven points from their first three fixtures. With the additions of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente, are they now capable of mounting a serious challenge for Bayern Munich's European crown?
However, performances have improved under newly-installed coach Stale Solbakken and the 45-year-old Norwegian is confident that his side can surprise a few people.
The omens do not look good for FC Copenhagen however and they have endured a poor start to the season, failing to win any of their first six league matches. In fact, they have not won a home match since a 2-1 victory over AC Horsens on March 15.
My name is Max Bentley and I'll be keeping you up-to-date with all the action from the Parken Stadium, in what is the first official meeting between the respective sides.
The UEFA Champions League group stages make their long-awaited return this evening and we have a mouth-watering clash of two champions as Danish league winners FC Copenhagen host Serie A victors Juventus.
