The goalkeeper was in fine form and read the game very well. Inspirational between the sticks and confident in his catching. Unlucky with the equaliser.
A real captain's performance after Chester'sred card. Kept the side organised.
Looked good in the heart of defence initially but early dismissal ruined his performance.
Very impressive performance and put his body on the line for the cause. Looked strong and forward-thinking in his approach.
A fine performance from the Dundee lad, and got forward very well. A flying wing-back, whose forays were curtailed after the Tigers went down to 10 men.
Ahmed El Mohamady
In and out of the match and made things tick for Hull. Always a willing runner and looked good alongside Quinn.
Again, did well in marshalling the midfield but didn't get enough time on the ball around the box.
Huffed and puffed but to no avail. Looked good on the ball but didn't get things ticking as he has shown at previous clubs. Early days, though.
Full of running and gave everything for the cause. Showed real guts to fight for every ball and impressed both in and out of possession.
Largely went missing during the match.
Scored the opening goal and ran his socks off. Always difficult to lead the line but he was effective in the role today.
Made a mistake for Hull's goal but was largely impressive otherwise. Needed to get more of his glove on Huddlestone's shot - won't want to see that one again.
Late goal made up for an average performance. Right place, right time, but must do better.
Largely unnoticed during the game.
Was given a torrid ride by Robertson but came into his own after Chester's red card. Relatively solid.
Looked good in the second half as he looked to make things tick on the left.
Shielded the back four well and hardly put a foot wrong throughout the match.
Stifled Hull well and played his part in Chester's red card, but was hooked for Bojan during the first half.
Did well, got the ball down and played it around, but needed to get forward more often.
Not the worst performance of the day but he's not far off. Didn't really have a fair crack on goal.
Didn't really get going in this one and was taken off through injury after a collision with Tom Ince. Not as effective as we know he can be.
Very poor first half, decent second period. Got his body around the box and had a few chances. Physically sharp but not mentally sharp - yet.
Made an instant impact after arriving from the bench. Central to the Stoke fightback and proved why he is their midfield engine.
Came on, offered little. Stoke lost composure by lumping the ball onto his head. Didn't get a clear sight at goal.
Looked good. Came on in the first half, passed it around and made a nuisance of himself.
