Although he was beaten five time, Dusseldorf could well have lost by even more had it not been for Giefer. He made some fantastic saves from Ribery and Mandzukic and was extremely unlucky on Luiz Gustavo's goal.
Came into the side in place of the injured Stelios Malezas but failed to keep the defence as tight as it has been so far this season. Clearly did not communicate enough as Dusseldorf had a nightmare at the back.
Looked completely lost in the centre of defence as F95 lacked organisation and composure. There was very little shape and awareness as Langeneke was pulled apart by Bayern's fluid football. Tormented by Mandzukic and offered far too much space.
Made a couple of positive runs down the right when his side attempted to break, but failed to produce anything to test Neuer. He did not offer Levels enough support when up against Ribery.
J. van den Bergh
Rarely pushed forward from left-back as F95 spent huge amounts of the game under pressure. He simply watched as Mandzukic slotted home the first unmarked when he could have presented it.
Started off well enough but as Ribery got into his stride, the full-back was left lagging behind. He could not match the Frenchman for pace and was beaten time and again as Bayern totally dominated.
Was lucky not to divert into his own net in the opening 10 minutes but improved from then on. He kept Badstuber occupied with some impressive dribbling in the second half and created F95's best chance, though no one was on hand to finish it.
Was overrun in the middle of the park and spent a lot of the game chasing shadows. He failed to track the runners from deep and therefore put his defence under needless pressure.
Failed to pick apart the Bayern play as the visitors dominated the midfield. He was beaten to a header by Muller in the build up to the second goal and grew ever-more frustrated from then on.
Dropped deep when his side were not on the ball in order to help defend. This meant he hardly had a chance to influence proceedings in the other half and was subsequently withdrawn at half time.
Lacked service throughout and therefore hardly had a chance to test Neuer. He put in a good shift though, regularly tracking back to help his side out. Unfortunately, that is not where he is most effective.
The keeper was never really tested as Dusseldorf provided next to nothing up top. He claimed whatever was sent into the area and will be delighted to have secured yet another clean sheet.
It was another simple afternoon for Dante as he looked extremely composed at the back. Played a very carefree game but was not quite the building base he usually is. Nevertheless, he provided a threat in the opposing penalty area from set pieces.
After the horrors of his display against Sweden in midweek, Badstuber recovered with a competent performance. He had very little to do but will have been disappointed to have been beaten by Kruse early in the second half.
There was very little Boateng could have done wrong and such a simple game will rarely be one in which a centre-back stands out. Did what was required of him and no more.
Pushed forward regularly and thus allowed Muller to drift inside to areas where he is more effective. Played a part in two Bayern's goals, supplying a great cross in the first half before an excellent run lead to Muller's strike after the break.
Looked far more at home in the role behind the striker than in the deep role that he played in for Germany in midweek. He was very lively early on but as Dusseldrof packed numbers back he struggled to find the space to weave his magic.
A combative performance from the Brazilian as he patrolled the middle of the park well. Won possession regularly and showed the instincts of a more attacking player to score after following in Muller's header.
Did not quite run the show even though Bayern were completely dominant in possession. He kept it simple and distributed well, though he did not provide any defence-splitting passes to set up the attackers.
It was another indomitable performance from the French winger as he tormented the F95 defence all afternoon. An irrepressible performance was capped with a pair of excellent assists though he possibly should have found the net himself.
Showed his immense ability in a brilliant outing in Dusseldorf. His link-up play was top drawer and he managed to test Giefer on more than a few occasions. Netted two great goals and also had a hand in getting Luiz Gustavo on the scoresheet.
Capitalised on acres of space to slide home Bayern's opener and provided a focal point to the attack. He linked up with the attacking-midfielders and could well have punished the F95 defenders to an even greater degree.
Had a positive impact in the opening stages of the second half and provided some much needed relief for his defence with a few powerful runs forward.
Replaced Ilso at half time and gave Dante and Boateng an extra something to think about. He put himself about well but his side were let down by some awful defending.
