  • 90'
No injury time is played as the referee blows the whistle for full time! Juventus record their largest ever win away at Fiorentina, who went from bad to worse throughout the course of the game. Conte's men take home a 5-0 win and Rossi has much, much to chew over. I'm Julian De Martinis and I'd like to thank you for joining us here at Goal.com for the match!
  • 88'
Fiorentina win a free kick in a very good position; central, less than ten yards outside the box. Vargas takes it after a tip off from Montolivo. It's struck too hard and sails high over Buffon's net.
  • 86'
A near moment for Juve as De Ceglie sends a good cross in that no one can get on the end of. A sixth goal isn't out of the realm of possibility despite less than five minutes of regulation time remaining.
  • 84'
Fiorentina getting more involved but it's surely too little, too late at this point. Juve rarely look as if they're truly being tested.
  • 82'
Perhaps the best chance of the night for Fiorentina! Vargas sends a perfect cross up to Amauri, who stretches his leg and just can't get enough on it to deflect it into the net. The whistle is blown for offside in any case, however.
  • 80'
Fiorentina are on a very rare foray forward here, which ends with Montolivo's shot being deflected out for yet another corner. Juventus have to clear it twice before countering and earn a free kick as Vargas takes down Pepe. The Fiorentina man believes the visitor went down far too easily.
  • 79'
Borriello rips a shot as he turns on the edge of the box but it's hit right to Boruc, who collects it.
  • 77'
Juventus are putting almost zero effort into their corners now, and it's tough to blame them, having an extra man and five extra goals. Conte's men are content to play keep-away with the ball.
  • 76'
Juve play a corner short and work it around the pitch to the right, then back to the left, just really knocking the ball about. Occasionally the burners get turned on but this is just humiliating for Fiorentina at the moment.
  • 74'
With less than 20 to go here no one is really exerting themselves anymore. In truth if Juventus continue to attack the scoreline can easily go even higher.
  • 72'
    Goal Simone Padoin
  • 72'
GOALLLLL PADOIN! And it's FIVE for Juventus now! Padoin gets his first goal for Juventus as he smashes Pirlo's deflected goal kick into the roof of the net! Rossi and all of Fiorentina look completely deflated.
  • 71'
All three subs have now been used by Conte, which means this is yet another week where captain Del Piero fails to feature.
  • 70'
    Substitution Arturo Vidal Simone Padoin
  • 69'
    Substitution Mirko Vučinić Marco Borriello
  • 69'
The home side still press for their first goal, as Pasquale tries another cross that gets easily cleared. Vucinic, the orchestrator of much tonight and scorer of the first goal, comes off with Vidal for Padoin and Borriello.
  • 67'
    Assist Mirko Vučinić

    Goal Andrea Pirlo
GOOOALLLLLL PIRLO! And it's four now after a sumptuous finish from Pirlo! The midfielder showed no signs of his age as he raced through the Fiorentina defence to reach a through ball from Vucinic. He slid to volley the ball over Boruc with his left foot and it landed perfectly in the far corner of the net. Game, set, and match for Fiorentina and the fans know it- they're leaving the stadium!
  • 64'
Pasquale races into the left side of the box and tries his hand at a shot, but the captain fires well wide of the post.
  • 63'
Fiorentina continuing to press now and haven't given up just yet. Another corner for the home side, headed out by De Ceglie and played back to Boruc.
  • 61'
Fiorentina get a shot on target via Lazzari but the shot is blocked! Moments later Buffon makes a SUPERB save, getting his fingers on the same player's follow up shot and tipping his effort on the post! Absolutely world class from the keeper!
  • 60'
Cheeky little backheel pass from Pirlo that his teammates failed to read, and the ball falls to Fiorentina.
  • 59'
    Substitution Alessandro Matri Fabio Quagliarella
  • 59'
Quagliarella coming on for Matri now as Conte looks to give his side's leading goalscorer a rest and get the former back into form.
  • 57'
That goal has quickly swung momentum back into Juventus's favor, and it looks like the two sides are now going back to wehre in the first half: the home side sitting back and the visitors dominating possession.
  • 55'
    Assist Mirko Vučinić
  • 55'
    Goal Claudio Marchisio
GOALLL MARCHISIO!!!! The midfield gets his seventh of the season as he rushes to meet Vucinic's cross and heads it right into the back of the net, beating the fully stretched Boruc. 3-0 for Juve and Fiorentina have fallen to shreds on the counter.
  • 54'
Pep from the byline sends the ball to Vucinic, but the ball flashes across goal and gets deflected out.
  • 53'
The two sides are just slinging crosses in at will, and Caceres cuts one out for a Fiorentina corner. The side fail to score but are vastly improved this half.
  • 52'
Another cross from Cassani in towards Amauri that Buffon is able to get to. Juve counter; Vidal's pass finds Matri perfectly onside, who races to goal. He cuts back for Vucinic who goes just wide of Boruc's right hand post!
  • 51'
Juve's turn to cross now, as a solid effort from Pepe is headed back to Boruc by his defence. Seconds later, Fiorentina whip the ball across the face of Buffon's net and it takes a last second slide from De Ceglie to prevent De Silvestri from getting it!
  • 50'
Cassani launches a cross from very deep in the midfield to the Juventus box which Buffon is easily able to collect.
  • 48'
Vidal passes the ball right to the home side and then puts in a very late challenge on Lazzari, giving the home side a free kick deep in the half. Natali gets on the end of it but heads wide and high!
  • 47'
Fiorentina look like Rossi gave a hairdryer speech as they spend the first couple of minutes dominating possession. From the corner, the ball is worked and a shot is played that's blocked, but that's still much better than the first half efforts from the home side.
  • 46'
Substitution Ruben Olivera Lorenzo De Silvestri
  • 46'
Only one change for the half- De Silvestre on for Olivera, as Rossi looks to shake his side awake. The home side start at a bright pace as Amauri races to keep a ball in play, and they now have a corner.
  • 45' + 1'
Just one minute of injury time is played, and the two teams head into the dugout for halftime. The second half will be an immensely telling one- Rossi could try to get something from this or go for damage limitation, whereas Conte could use the occasion to try out some fringe players like Elia. Join us in 15 minutes for the second half!
  • 44'
The Fiorentina fans are booing Pasquale's cross into the box, which found none of his teammates. The second forty five is going to feel like ages for the tifosi should their side continue to play like this.
  • 43'
Solid corner routine from Juventus, which begins, gets carried on, and ends with Pirlo, who fires wide from just outside the box on the left.
  • 42'
Vucinic gets on the end of a pass in the box. He jukes right, gets the the byline on the left, and seems to be caught between crossing and shooting as his effort across the face of goal is far over everyone else.
  • 41'
Corner to Juve. It's played to the edge of the box and crossed in, but Fiorentina head it out. It goes only right back to the visitors who are dominating possession this half.
  • 39'
Nastastic just knocks a superb ball away before Vucinic can pounce on it in the box. The visitors are getting closer to a third goal before Fiorentina are getting anywhere near a first at the moment.
  • 38'
Another terrible pass from Caceres, echoing his opening minute slip to Vargas, goes straight to Amauri. The striker only has two defenders in front of him but the visitors go back to Buffon and regain possession. Needlessly dangerous from Caceres again!
  • 37'
Vucinic gets very, very close to slipping the ball through for Matri, who would've been clear through on goal, but Natali just does enough to block the pass.
  • 35'
Pepe whips a cross into the area that Montolivo is forced into clearing. It's mostly one way traffic so far, with Fiorentina's forays forward limited both in scope and time.
  • 34'
    Yellow Card Ruben Olivera
  • 34'
A decent play from the home side; Amauri gets a cross and tries to turn past Bonucci but loses out. Olivera tries to prevent a counter, fouls Pirlo in the process, and enters the book.
  • 33'
Though the defeat here can't entirely be blamed on Delio Rossi (assuming he didn't tell Cerci to get himself sent off), there's no denying his time at the club has been a huge disappointment. Much more was expected from the man who worked wonders at Palermo.
  • 31'
Former Juve player Amauri puts on his dribbling boots to get past De Ceglie and to the box, where his cross is cut out by Caceres. One of Fiorentina's better moves of the match; perhaps there is hope yet for the home side?
  • 30'
Full credit to Juventus, who continue to press for more goals despite their tremendous advantage, taking the scoreline and the sending-off into account.
  • 29'
Fiorentina nearly nick one back from a free kick, but Amauri is offside and the referee whistles for it before Vargas can take a shot, which he subsequently skied in any case.
  • 28'
    Goal Arturo Vidal
VIDALLLLL GOAL! Pirlo plays a fantastic corner to Vucinic at the near post, who holds up up perfectly just to slot it to the onrushing Vidal. The midfielder tries a first time shot which Boruc parries right back to him, and he makes no mistake the second time! 2-0 to Juventus and Fiorentina are in worlds of trouble here!!!
  • 26'
Good cross from Vidal that Natali clears, and then Lichtsteiner follows suit but it's once again headed away. De Ceglie tries from the other flank and Pepe's shot across goal is deflected for a corner.
  • 25'
Acres and acres of space for Juve to exploit now, and Fiorentina look to have reverted to a conservative counter-attacking style.
  • 24'
    Yellow Card Stephan Lichtsteiner
  • 23'
Lichtsteiner booked for grabbing and pulling Vargas, and he'll now miss Juventus' next match- the Derby D'Italia against Inter! Bad news for Juve on a night where everything seemed to be going so well!
  • 22'
Conte's men are going to be relishing this now as a chance to get truly back into form. The team were the better of the two before the dismissal and now have a machine-like grip on the ball.
  • 21'
    Red Card Alessio Cerci
  • 21'
Things go from bad to worse for Fiorentina as Cerci gets sent off! The referee saw him kick De Ceglie on the back of his legs following a jostle for position!!! Fiorentina now a goal AND a man down!
  • 19'
Juve are deep in Fiorentina's half and regain the ball almost immediately after losing it. Olivera finally wins it for Fiorentina after his solid tackle.
  • 18'
From the ensuing free kick- which is taken only after the referee animatedl reminds Lichtsteiner that me must listen to the whistle- Natali gets his head on the ball but puts no power behind it, and both fall limply to the ground.
  • 17'
Handball whistled on Vucinic as the forward was back on defense and just tipped the ball with his hand before sending it up to Matri.
  • 15'
    Assist Claudio Marchisio
  • 15'
    Goal Mirko Vučinić
GOALLLLLL VUCINIC!!! Juventus play some fantastic short passes on the edge of the box, leaving the Fiorentina defenders dizzy trying to recoup possession. It falls to the Montenegrin who takes a step, lines up his shot, and curves it into the net from just outside the box. It's his fifth of the season and it's not 1-0 to the visitors!
  • 14'
Very inventive play from the home side gets Cerci the ball very deep in the Juve box following Montolivo's superb pass, but the opportunity goes wasted when Caceres cuts out the cross.
  • 13'
Vargas and Pirlo tussle as the ball goes out, and the Fiorentina man makes it clear that he is not interested in letting the Juve man mark him so closely. This could evolve into a fascinating personal duel.
  • 12'
Matri and Vucinic again showing some understanding up front. The latter plays a give and go with the former and tries to cross it for him to shoot, but the final ball was too easy for Natali to read.
  • 11'
An awful, awful cross from Vucinic finds no one in the box and goes directly out of play for a Boruc goal-kick. That was a poor end to a decent attack by the visitors, who had numbers around the edges of the box.
  • 10'
Neither side turning on the flair here at the moment. Juventus have been marginally brighter but without being very dazzling.
  • 8'
First corner to the game goes to the home side after Vargas's cross was cut out. It's cleared initially to the edge of the box, where Lazzari tries a volley that whizzes high.
  • 6'
What a chance that was! Vucinic and Matri continue to play despite the latter falling down. The former Roma man lines up a shot that bounces off the near post, and the follow up is drilled over the bar! That was from almost nothing, and Fiorentina were caught being too rigid in their lines.
  • 5'
It takes three Juventus players to nick the ball off of Vargas, who did immensely well to retain possession as he charged inward from his left flank.
  • 4'
Vidal cuts out Cerci's dangerous run towards the box and passes the ball to Pirlo. The maestro tries a long ball over the top to Matri but it rolls out. Fiorentina then get a good cross in the box but Olivera heads it down to no one!
  • 3'
De Ceglie and Vucinic combine well on the left, but the final ball comes off the striker's foot and out for a home throw-in.
  • 2'
Nastasic and Matri tangle up front, and though it appears that the latter committed a foul to prevent the striker from turning on goal, the free kick is given to Fiorentina.
  • 1'
And we have kick-off! The visitors kick off, and Caceres gives the ball away almost immediately as his short pass falls right to Vargas. A cross comes in and his partner Bonucci clears it out. A less than promising from Juve.
  • The Artemio Franchi is packed with people today, including Italy coach Cesare Prandelli. We're just moments away from kickoff now; Fiorentina are heading out of the tunnel in their usual purple kit, and Juventus in their black-and-white stripes.
  • Recent form suggests this game may not have many goals in it, but motivation suggests otherwise; Juve are seven points behind Milan now thanks to their win earlier, and Fiorentina truly do not wish to flirt anymore with relegation.
  • Vidal is back in the midfield for Conte's side after deputizing as a centre-back last weekend. Juventus: Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Caceres, De Ceglie; Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio; Pepe, Matri, Vucinic Subs: Storari, Chiellini, Padoin, Giaccherini, Del Piero, Borriello, Quagliarella
  • The starting lineups have been announced. The home side are without Jovetic and Gamberini tonight, while the visitors see Bonucci recalled but still lack Chiellini and Barzagli. Fiorentina: Boruc; Cassani, Natali, Nastasic, Pasqual; Olivera, Montolivo Lazzari; Vargas, Amauri, Cerci Subs: Neto, De Silvestri, Gamberini, Kharja, Salifu, Acosty, Marchionni
  • Both sides are struggling with the same problem at the moment: a failure to score goals. The visitors are creating many chances but finishing few, with just three goals in their last four games. Fiorentina have four in their last five but have failed to score in four of their last six.
  • Delio Rossi's men have won just one of their last six games and are hanging perilously above the relegation zone in 15th place, seven points above the drop. Juventus appear to be having a great season on paper but sitting in second is not enough for the side that is still unbeaten was leading leading the table for large parts of the season.
