Mourinho and his charges won't care, though, as Roberto Martinez's Everton side leave west London empty-handed. At full-time, Chelsea go four points clear at the top of the Premier League! That wraps up our live-text coverage so, from me Tim Poole, have a good weekend! Take care.
It's all over as a last-gasp winner gets Jose Mourinho's men all three points yet again! How many times has that happened over the years? There is now debate as to whether the goal will go down to John Terry or free kick-taker Frank Lampard, with there being the slight possibility of a Tim Howard own goal.
FULL-TIME! Chelsea 1-0 Everton
90' + 4'
Both sides press on, as there is one final chance for Everton! But Cech makes a straightforward save. How cliche is a Terry winner, set up by Lampard?
90' + 3'
90' + 3'
GOALLLLLLLLLLL! LAMPARD SCORES FOR CHELSEA! How cruel on Jagielka, who has been brilliant but conceded the free kick that may have lost his side the game. That's the stuff titles are made of! It isn't fully clear who eventually knocked Lampard's free kick into the back of the net - with Terry claiming it!
90' + 2'
Yellow CardPhil Jagielka
90' + 2'
FREE KICK! Chelsea have won a free kick in a very dangerous position down the left-hand side, with Jagielka receiving a yellow card for the foul. He is furious at the decision - but it might not matter if Lampard can provide a strong delivery.
90' + 1'
There will be no less than FIVE minutes of added time! Schurrle tries to force a breakthrough as he takes on Coleman. However, Lampard, who is waiting for the German's pass, is dealt with well by Jagielka. What a defensive performance this has been from Everton. Chelsea's defenders haven't been bad, either!
JUST WIDE! Howard was at full stretch but he might not have stopped that if it was on target! It was Ramires who hit the shot from distance, which was well-aimed and powerfully struck. However, it was just a few inches off-target.
Barring a late winner from the Blues, Everton will have gone the league season unbeaten against Chelsea, having beaten them at Goodison Park earlier in the season. Substitute Ross Barkley is now dispossessed comically.
Torres wins a free kick for Chelsea and Baines is not happy, giving the Spaniard an earache for his efforts! The suggestion is there was no contact, with Torres going down rather easily in the event.
POOR! Schurrle now tries to get in on the action with a long-range effort. However, there are no heroics as the German's shot sails way off target. He won't impress Mourinho with strikes like that.
TACKLE! Ramires bursts forward but is dispossessed by a great challenge on the edge of the area. He had Lampard waiting for the ball after a good run into the danger area.
You can sense a restlessness amongst the home crowd. After becoming the first Premier League side this season to beat Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, Chelsea looked as though everything was just falling into place. Yet, as things stands, it's three games in all competitions without a win since.
Yellow CardGareth Barry
CHANGE! Aiden McGeady comes on for Everton now. Martinez is definitely looking to add more creativity to his side, with Deulofeu already having come on for the Toffees. Neither manager looks like they are satisfied with a point.
CLEARANCE! Distin sets the record straight as Chelsea keep pushing forward for a potential winner. The Everton defender latches onto the ball in the box and thumps it well clear.
WIDE! Lampard finds Hazard with a great ball and the Belgian duly skips past a couple of tackles. He then finds Torres but the Spaniard can only shoot just wide for the home side. Are they edging closer towards a winner?
In midfield, however, it has been the likes of Barry and McCarthy who have stood out today. Gerard Deulofeu is coming on to add to the Everton midfield, with the creative young Spaniard replacing Mirallas. The Belgian has had a good game but could have offered more in front of goal.
Chelsea have created very little in the last few minutes, although they have looked similarly untroubled at the back. Terry and Cahill have been fantastic in defence - but that is only enough for a point, not a win.
The clock is ticking here and Chelsea won't finish tonight top of the Premier League if Arsenal can beat Sunderland later. After their 1-1 stalemate at West Brom, this will be their second league draw in a row.
The German has now come on! The Special One has officially used up all of his options from the bench. Will Ramires, Torres or Schurrle make the difference? Or could it be Hazard, who has played more minutes for Chelsea in the Premier League this season than anyone else except Petr Cech?
FREE KICK! Eto'o brings down Baines and the visitors win a free kick in an intriguing position. It's also interesting to note that Mourinho has got two strikers on for Chelsea at the moment. Midfielder Andre Schurrle is about to come on, as well.
Less than 25 minutes left here, as Mirallas has a shot blocked outside of the penalty area, and either side can claim victory here. Of course, it could be a case of "neither side" as well, as both could end up settling for the draw.
It's been a lively last few minutes, either way, although both defences remain unlocked. Hazard now tries to run onto the ball but can't get onto the end of the pass.
Do either side go for broke here? A point and a clean sheet each doesn't seem too disastrous at first glance but, with so many sides in the hunt for the Champions League places, two points dropped won't help Chelsea or Everton that much.
Mourinho has called on Fernando Torres to come on. He's replacing a wasteful Willian. Will the Spaniard make the difference? He'll have to do well to beat Howard on this form!
SAVES! Howard is just forced into several saves as Chelsea come forward, with several players, including Ivanovic - whose shot hit the post - unleashing an effort on goal and either having it blocked or saved by the American. This game has sprung into life completely.
SAVE!! What a strike from Osman! The Everton midfielder takes the ball down and hits a ferocious strike that is heading for the corner. An unsighted Cech wraps his hand around it, however, and pushes it our for a corner.
This second half is looking a lot more competitive than the first, with both sides looking much more interested in attack as well as defence. The Chelsea crowd have sprung into life, too. All to play for heading into the last half an hour.
POOR! Ramires now shoots from 40 yards a la David Luiz. It was more akin to the defender's worst effort, though, as it sailed high and wide and into the stands.
WIDE! Willian now fires a miserable shot wide of goal, with the Brazilian looking composed going into the strike... but far from it when he hit the ball. Once again, Chelsea's final product is eluding them. However, they are now creating chances.
HEADER! Terry now heads for goal after the corner that was won by Lampard's chance. Interestingly, it's striker Naismith who blocks this one. It goes out for a corner - and Terry is denied once again!
BLOCK! A great chance for Chelsea as Lampard finds space in between Everton's defenders and goes for goal - but it is blocked by Distin, which is his second vital block of the day! The Blues have come out firing in the second 45.
The Brazilian's first action is to hit out at Pienaar off the ball! The incident is not too serious, however, as Baines and Coleman come over straight away to calm things down.
Everton kick us off for the second half! Mourinho has changed things up at the break, with Ramires replacing Oscar. How will that change things tactically?
We have had limited chances - but Samuel Eto'o has tested Tim Howard for the hosts, while Kevin Mirallas had a great chance to score at the end of the half yet fluffed his lines. Will anyone go one better in the second half? Stay with us to find out!
So an intriguing first half in west London, with us no nearer to knowing who today's eventual winner will be. Jose Mourinho's side started brightly but have lacked an end product throughout - and have started to cede both possession and territory to an Everton side growing in confidence.
HALF-TIME: Chelsea 0-0 Everton (the free kick is cleared and the referee blows his whistle!)
45' + 1'
Will Everton regret that miss? Chelsea almost make them pay immediately, although Willian's shot is a tame one, dealt with by Howard with comfortable ease. The visitors then retain possession and win a free kick for the final moments of the half.
MISHIT! Oh that was a chance for the visitors! The ball fell to Mirallas in a great position but he completely miscued his shot, as it ended up hitting his own player. How they could have done with a goal before half-time there!
BLOCK! A chance for Everton is dealt with by great defending from Terry. James McCarthy and Naismith collaborated well to play the ball deep into the Chelsea half - but Cahill and Terry were equal to the move, eventually dealing with it and clearing the danger.
It has been a frustrating half for the home side! But with the options they have available on the bench, you sense they have the firepower to change things around for the second half.
Chelsea win a free kick now and, despite Jagielka heading it away initially, Matic plays in Eto'o! However, the Everton defenders deal with the pressure and Matic is then penalised for a foul.
It's played into the box and reaches the head of Terry! But the Chelsea skipper can only head several yards wide, despite being unmarked by the Everton defenders. Big chance missed?
Chelsea have not been allowed to express themselves by the visitors so far, though they now have a corner, with Terry and Cahill both going forward for it - and Willian taking it...
The Chelsea fans jeer as Everton are accused of wasting time. However, their slow approach wins them a corner. Mirallas takes it, whipping it into the penalty area, but Cahill clears it for a throw-in.
SAVE! Eto'o storms through on goal but his effort is saved by Howard! The Everton goalkeeper has made two important stops so far and has been impressive all season. In fact, ever since he signed at Goodison Park!
OFFSIDE! A great ball is played into Mirallas but the Belgian is given offside for Everton. That would have been a pass for the highlight reels had it counted.
We're still lacking in terms of clearcut chances, which has been a problem for Mourinho's side all season. Their newfound defensive strength seems to have kept the visitors at bay, too, however.
As things stand, both sides will be dropping points here, which will benefit absolutely all of their rivals. The likes of Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City will be quietly confident here...
Half an hour gone here and it's been a fantastic tussle so far between both sides. Willian has seen a lot of the ball for Chelsea, though the likes of Baines and Pienaar have offered an equal amount of creativity for the visitors.
SAVE! Jagielka makes an overhead clearance initially - which was incredible in its technique - but Azpilicueta continued the move with a strike from distance, prompting a save from Howard!
CLEARANCE! Chelsea press now, with Eto'o putting pressure on Sylvain Distin, who just about manages to make a clearance. But back the Blues come, with Willian and Hazard advancing...
Both goalkeepers have had quiet games so far, with it very much being a battle of midfield at the moment. Right now, though, it is Everton who are looking the most likely to create chances. Chelsea are always there on the counterattack, however.
Barry is really dictating things in midfield, although Matic is trying his best to counter the former Manchester City man.
Everton have had several half-chances in the last few minutes, with Gareth Barry and Leon Osman excelling in central midfield. Steven Naismith, who replaced the injured Traore before kick-off, has had a quiet game so far, however, just like opposite number Samuel Eto'o.
Steven Pienaar and Baines now link up on the left-hand side, as the visitors gain in confidence. We are seeing a lot of the same moves that the Toffees produced against Swansea in the FA Cup.
Everton have slowly settled into this encounter now, with Chelsea's early dominance coming to nothing. Their lack of final product has hurt them so far, with Ivanovic now almost allowing Mirallas a way through to goal by giving the ball away!
BLOCK! Kevin Mirallas has a great chance for Everton, taking a shot at goal but having it blocked by a sliding Gary Cahill, who clears it with his chest! Pressure from the visitors now, who need Branislav Ivanovic to clear the corner.
The hosts try to find Oscar with a long ball but, once again, the move breaks down at the final hurdle. A foul now ends the move.
It's been a lively opening here at Stamford Bridge, with both sides showing flashes of attacking intent. Chelsea, especially, have started brightly - but a lack of end product means both sides are just as likely to open the scoring.
Everton's free kick is duly wasted, as Seamus Coleman hits it long but Naismith can only head it straight to Petr Cech. Chelsea look to break quickly again through Azpilicueta, though the Spaniard loses the ball as it goes off for a throw-in.
After the Blues win another corner, several crosses are pumped into the box but cleared with ease each time. However, Oscar now looks in pain after giving a free kick away, though he then receives a yellow card for his challenge!
Willian has had a busy few minutes. The Brazilian now tries to jink his way past all the Everton defenders. He almost succeeds but just takes on one man too many. At the other end, the away side get forward for only the second time so far, though a dangerous cross into the box needs clearing.
The home side push forward again as they attempt to assert their early dominance. But, this time, it's Nemanja Matic who ruins the move. The midfielder delivered a cross into the penalty area but it floated well wide of its target and off for a throw!
Now Chelsea break again, after Leighton Baines had earned Everton a free kick. The Blues counterattacked in typically quick fashion, with Willian leading the charge. The Brazilian ended up through on goal but miscued his shot somewhat, as it rolled wide of Howard's right post.
Eden Hazard wins the Blues a corner straight away! Cesar Azpilicueta won the ball down the left and passed it to the Belgian, who displayed all his skill to force the set-piece. Frank Lampard whipped it in and it was blocked, then delivered the second corner - but it went straight to Tim Howard.
We're underway, as hosts Chelsea get us started!
The teams are heading onto the pitch. Chelsea led by returning captain John Terry, Everton by Phil Jagielka. One is England's current centre-back, the other a former England skipper.
Kick-off is less than 10 minutes away, so stay with us for all the action!
Chelsea currently sit top of the Premier League, one point clear of Arsenal and three clear of Manchester City, though City have a game in hand and a superior goal difference. The visitors, meanwhile, are eight points off the Champions League places but could close to within two points of fifth-placed Tottenham with a win today.
Psychologically, however, the Toffees can take heart from knowing that they beat the Blues at Goodison Park earlier in the season. Steven Naismith scored the only goal in that one - and the Scot is on the bench today. Can Everton become the first ever side to beat Mourinho at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League?
Statistically, Everton have not won at Stamford Bridge for 18 years, with Mourinho himself unbeaten at the Bridge in the Premier League for 73 games, while Chelsea are currently unbeaten in 11 league matches.
Martinez, then, has kept faith with Lacina Traore after his debut goal in the FA Cup against Swansea City, though Ross Barkley can only make the bench. For hosts Chelsea, their starting XI has actually become rather predictable - a far cry from earlier this season.
Everton substitutes: Robles, Hibbert, McGeady, Deulofeu, Naismith, Barkley, Stones.
Everton starting line-up: Howard; Coleman, Distin, Jagielka, Baines; Barry, McCarthy, Pienaar, Osman, Mirallas; Naismith.
Chelsea substitutes: Schwarzer, Cole, Ramires, Salah, Schurrle, Torres, Ba.
Chelsea starting line-up: Cech; Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpilicueta; Matic, Lampard; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Eto'o.
Let's start with today's team news. See if you can spot any surprises...
