Shots on Target
Juve have failed win here, and have handed Milan a two point advantage going into the weekend, where the Bianconeri will face Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris. I've been Alex Mott, thanks for joining me tonight.
90' + 3'
And that's it! The full time whistle blows, and the scoreline here at the Renato Dell'Ara is Bologna 1-1 Juventus.
90' + 1'
Yellow Card Arturo Vidal
90' + 1'
Up the other end, and it's a free kick to Bologna on the edge of the Juventus area. Ramirez takes it, but his shot hits the top of the wall. It only though, goes as far as the edge of the area, and Raggi hits it first time back at goal. His shot is a poor one though, and Buffon watches it wide.
Vidal gets taken down 25yds from goal by Di Vaio, and a free kick is given. Pirlo takes it, but instead of shooting, plays it out wide to Lichtsteiner, who whips in a first time cross. Antonsson reads the cross though, and clears away the ball.
Pirlo, deep in his own half, plays it to Marchisio in the centre circle, who in turn finds Giaccherini on the left-hand side. He tries to use his pace to get past Raggi, but the former Italy U21 international uses his head, and shepherds him out of play.
Yellow Card Daniele Portanova
Yellow/Red Leonardo Bonucci
BONUCCI IS SENT OFF. And joins his manager for an early bath. It was Ramirez again, who broke from the halfway line, and Bonucci cynically took him down for his second booking.
The corner is taken by Ramirez on the right-hand side, but it doesn't beat the first man, and Bonucci heads away the danger.
Ramirez comes forward with the ball now, over the halfway line. He looks up, and sees the run of Di Vaio on the right-hand side. He plays the chipped through-ball through to the former Juve man, but his pass is cut out by De Ceglie, who heads it out for a corner.
It comes to nothing though, as Quagliarella overhits his cross, as it goes out for a throw in on the far side.
Quagliarella losses the ball with his first touch, inside the centre circle. Luckily for him though, Vidal is the first one to the loose ball, and Juve come forward.
It's a free kick to Juve now, out on the right-hand touchline. Pirlo whips it in, but again, Gillet comes out and collects the ball well.
Ramirez shoots, but it hits the top of the wall!
Ramirez goes down under a challenge from Vidal just outside the area, and a free kick is given. Big chance here!
CONTE'S BEEN SENT OFF. And he is not happy about it! It looks like he said something to the fourth official that wasn't too friendly.
Bologna break, as this time, Di Vaio plays a first time pass out to Kone on the right. He takes the ball forward, skips past Lichtsteiner, and plays the ball inside to Ramirez. The Uruguayan takes a touch and shoots at goal from 20yds, but his shot is a poor one, and Buffon watches it go wide.
Yellow Card G. Ramírez
OHHH. Another great chance for Juve. Pepe whips in a low ball to Borriello in the six yard area, but he can't quite direct his first time shot at goal, and the ball sails wide of the right-hand post. You can't help but think Matri would have slotted that home.
Pepe skips past Rubin on the right-hand side, but Antonsson comes across, and takes the ball off the former Udinese man.
OHHH. How has he not scored? Pepe whips the ball in from the right, and finds the head of Borriello. Gillet gets down well though, and parries the ball back into the box, where Marchisio is there just to tap it in. From four yards out though, he strikes it straight at the keeper, and the ball goes out for a corner. Unbelievable!
Juve get the ball back from kick off almost straight away, and it's Vidal who tries to play the ball out wide to Pepe. Rubin does well though, and manages to clear the ball away, and out of touch.
Yellow Card Diego Pérez
Assist Andrea Pirlo
Goal Mirko Vučinić
GOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!!! And it's VUCINIC with the goal. The Montenegrin gets played through by Pirlo, and chips the ball over the on-rushing Gillet first time from the edge of the area. What a finish! 1-1.
Pirlo is really pulling strings for Juve now. This time, he plays a fantastic ball over Rubin's head and into the path of Pepe on the right-hand touchline. He waits, sees the overlapping run over Lichtsteiner, and then plays in the Swiss international. The former Lazio defender crosses it into the box first time, but once again Gillet comes out and collects the ball well.
It's a free kick to Juve now on that same left-hand touchline. Pirlo puts it in deep, towards the far post. Caceres though, can't quite get a touch on it, and the ball goes out for a goal kick.
Vidal plays it to Pirlo inside the centre circle. The former Milan man then plays it out wide to Marchisio, who goes on a fantastic run down the left-hand side. Once near the byline, he whips a ball in with his left foot, but Gillet comes out and collects the ball well.
This game is going from end-to-end faster than I can type! For Juve, Pirlo drops his shoulder, goes past Mudingayi and tries to shoot. This time though, Portanova spots the danger and blocks the shot.
CORR. What an effort! Perez collects the ball 30yds out, let's it bounce once, and then strikes it at goal. The ball loops over Buffon's head, but luckily for him, it also goes just over the bar.Great striker.
A cross from the left by Rubin finds the head of Diamanti, but his header is a poor one and Buffon collects easily.
Marchisio side-steps past Mudingayi in the centre circle, but the Belgian is having none of it, and takes the Italian international.
We're back underway here in Bologna. And it's Juve that will kick us off, going from left-to-right.
Don't forget, all you Juve fans that have magically reappeared now you look like winning something, hit me up @alexjmott on Twitter.
Half time here at the Renato Dall'Ara, and the scoreline is Bologna 1-0 Juventus. Is that unbeaten record about to be broken? Join me for the second half in 15 minutes.
And that's it. Half time!
De Ceglie plays a one-two with Borriello down the left-hand side, and whips in a great ball towards the box. It's in that area between the goal and the penalty spot that keepers hate som much. But luckily for Bologna, Pepe can't read it, and the ball goes all the way through and back out the other side.
Ramirez has just nicked the ball off of Pirlo in the centre of the park, and quite frankly, made him look an absolute mug. A changing of the guard?
Juve are really pushing for an equaliser now. This time, Pirlo swings in a corner from the left-hand side, but Bonucci can't get his head to it, and Antonsson clears.
And as I say that, Vidal fires a 25yd shot miles over the bar.
It's Vucinic that drops deep now. He looks to find Borriello outside the area, and receives it back off the Italian forward. The Montenegran then looks out wide right to Pepe, but Portanova reads it, and clears away the danger. Juve are suffering from what's commonly known as 'Arsenal syndrome' here. Sometimes, they just need to welly it at goal!
It's Pirlo now, deep in that quarterback position he loves to take up. He plays a long, diagonal ball to the on-rushing Lichtsteiner, but the Swiss international can't control it, and the ball goes out for a throw in.
Yellow Card Andrea Pirlo
I've covered quite a few Juventus games this season, and this is the first time I've seen them play long, hopeful balls up to their front men. And I can tell you, it definitely isn't working!
Garics plays a one-two with Di Vaio, and the Austrian midfielder finds himself inside the Juve area, with just Bonucci to beat. Unfortunately, his touch is a poor one, and the former Bari defender clears away the danger.
A long, hopeful ball upfield by Caceres is pounced on by Borriello, but he's ajudged to have fouled Portanova, and a free kick is given deep in the Bologna half.
@lomton on Twitter says the following: "This match will prove the fact that Chellini is the vital figure in Juve's triumph not Pirlo." So far Lomton, you're not wrong!
The corner from Pirlo is played out towards Marchisio on the edge of the area, but his shot is a poor one, and Raggi clears.
Vucinic gets the ball just outside the area, and flicks it first time into the path of Borriello. Portanova is tracking him all the way though, and puts the ball out for a corner.
Garics, who's seeing an awful lot of the ball at the moment, tries to play Di Vaio in down the right, but De Ceglie comes across and clears the ball into touch.
Diamanti does really well there, turning on the pace and going past Pirlo and Vidal on the halfway line. But his next touch is too heavy, and Bonucci comes forward and clears the ball.
Yellow Card Leonardo Bonucci
Bonucci pulls back Ramirez on the halfway line, as he looks to go through on goal. A free kick is given.
Lichtsteiner has had an absolute nightmare for the goal. He tried to play offside, but misjudged it massively. Deary me.
Assist G. Ramírez
Goal Marco Di Vaio
GOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!!!! And it's for BOLOGNA. After all that. The ball is played through to Di Vaio by Ramirez, and the former Juve striker, from 10yds out, slots it past Buffon's right hand, and into the bottom left-hand corner. 1-0!
Bologna are really being pegged back here. Juve look massively up for this!
The corner's terrible and Bologna clear.
The free kick is given, which Pirlo takes. He shoots, but the ball takes a wicked deflection, and wrong foots the keeper, leaving him scrambling across his goalmouth to stop it going in the bottom right-hand corner. Luckily for the Belgian keeper though, it just goes out for a corner.
Borriello shrugs off the challenge of Portanova, but the former Siena defender goes back for seconds, and takes out Borriello.
Bologna go forward this time. And it's Diamanti who's causing Bonucci all sorts of problems on the left-hand touchline. He nutmegs the defender and puts in a fantastic ball towards the far post. Buffon leaves it, thinking it's going well wide, but the curl on the ball means it goes just inches past his right-hand post. A lucky escape there for Buffon and Juve.
A cross from the right by Lichtsteiner is overhit, and Garics tries to head the ball back into the arms of Gillet. His header is a poor one though, and the Belgian keeper has to rush to his left to try and stop the ball going out for a corner. Luckily for the Rossoblu, he does.
A great break by Juve nearly ends in a goal-scoring opportunity for the Old Lady. A free kick to Bologna is cleared by Bonucci, with which he finds Pepe on the left-hand touchline. The former Udinese man goes on a run with the ball down the line, and puts in a low cross. The ball is looking to find the run of Borriello, but Antonsson comes across and clears at the last minute.
The free kick is played out quickly to the right-hand touchline to Lichtsteiner. He finds Borriello inside, and the former Roma man turns with the ball and fires a shot at goal from 25yds. Gillet gets down well though, and saves comfortably.
Garics takes a throw in on the halfway line, but Pirlo reads the short one, and nicks the ball from Mudingayi. He takes a touch, but is bundled over by the Belgian, and Juve win a free kick.
And Juve already have the ball. Garics tried a long ball to Di Vaio down the right, but Bonucci came across and intercepted the ball, taking a touch, and playing across the backline to Caceres.
Here we go then. Bologna get us underway, kicking from left-to-right in their famous red and blue.
The teams are leaving the tunnel to rip-roaring applause. Kick off is literally moments away!
Remember, @alexjmott is where I live on the internet, and I'd love for you to come and say 'hello'.
Just over 10 minutes until kick off here in Bologna, and the atmosphere is absolutely red-hot ahead of this must-win game for Juve.
Juventus: (4-3-3) Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Caceres, De Ceglie; Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio; Pepe, Borriello, Vucinic.
TEAM NEWS: they're in, and it makes for interesting reading if your name's Marco or Borriello. But first, the home team. Bologna: (3-4-2-1) Gillet; Raggi, Portanova, Antonsson; Garics, Perez, Mudingayi, Rubin; Ramirez, Diamanti; Di Vaio.
Juventus, on the other hand, have drawn four of their last five games, and have slipped off the top spot in Serie A, going three points behind the leaders AC Milan, with this, their game in hand. They are though, still the only unbeaten side in any of Europe's top five leagues, and have racked up an astonishing 26 victories here, at the Renato Dall'Ara.
Bologna haven't exactly got the greatest record against Juventus of late: winning just one of their previous 20 encounters with the Bianconeri. They are though, on something of a purple patch, losing just one of their last nine games.
Good evening and welcome to Goal.com's LIVE coverage of the Serie A encounter between Juventus and Bologna all the way from the Stadio Renato Dell'Ara in Bologna. I'm Alex Mott, and I'll be your commentator for this afternoon/evening's game. If you have any comments, predictions, questions then do hit me up @alexjmott via Twitter.
