FULL TIME IN MUNICH. Leverkusen earn their first away win against Bayern Munich in over 20 years. The perfect start to the season of the hosts has came to an end thanks to goals from Stefan Kiessling and Sidney Sam. I'm Martin Macdonald, thanks for joining us on Goa.com today! See you next time!
90' + 3'
BAYERN HIT THE BAR!! Pizarro dashes to the near post and glances a header towards goal but it clips the top of the woodwork! Incredible stuff here!
90' + 1'
It is all Bayern now. Leverkusen have 11 men behind the ball and have set up a formidable defensive wall.
Leverkusen look to be shutting up shop now. Manuel Friedrich enters the action in place of Gonzalo Castro. A defender on for an attacker. Can Leverkusen hold out for a massive victory?
Assist Daniel Carvajal
Goal Sidney Sam
GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAL FOR LEVERKUSEN! UNBELIEVABLE!! Sidney Sam gets on the end of a cross to the near post and glances a nothing header at goal, however the ball cannons of Boateng and nestles in the bottom left corner! 2-1 Leverkusen!
Sami Hyypia adding some fresh legs in the Leverkusen attack. You never know, with the amount of men Bayern are committing in attack, there could be space created in the final third for the visitors.
A couple of changes to report for Leverkusen as Kiessling and Schurrle are replaced by Jens Hegler and Sidney Sam.
If there is a winner in this match there is only one team who it is and thats Bayern. Leverkusen have retreated even further into there own half. I sense an onslaught from the hosts in the last 10 minutes.
BAYERN HIT THE POST!! A shot from Pizarro takes a couple of deflections and rolls towards goal but hits the woodwork! It had Leno beat as the Leverkusen goalkeeper was committed!
Assist Claudio Pizarro
Goal Mario Mandzukic
GOOOOOOOAAAAAAL FOR BAYERN!!!! The hosts equalise! Pizarro twists and turns inside the area before clipping the ball on to the penalty spot for Mandzukic who directs a header into the net! 1-1! Grandstand finish on the cards!
Kiessling holds the ball up excellently and slides the ball into the inside right channel for Schurrle who gallops forward but hits a weak shot on goal. That was a terrible decision from the German as he had Castro and Kiessling waiting in the box for tap ins!
Another change to report for Bayern Munich as Claudio Pizarro enters the action in place of Schweinsteiger. The hosts going for broke now.
A loose ball on the edge of the area finds its way to Schweinsteiger who thumps a left-footed shot at goal but Reinhartz dashes out of the box to make a good block.
Bayern just turning up the gas on the visitors now. Robben's delivery from set pieces and Shaqiri's bursting runs through the middle are beginning to cause problems.
Wollscheid has been an an absolute rock at the back for Leverkusen so far. He has marshaled Mandzukic well and has put his head on every ball that has came into the area.
Robben slips a lovely pass inside and Mandzukic looks poised to shoot on goal but Wollscheid is there with a fantastic last ditch challenge to put the ball out for a corner kick. Great defending.
Simon Rolfes robs Robben of the ball and looks to mount a counterattack for Leverkusen but Bayern get back in numbers and the pace is taken out of the attack.
Yellow Card Xherdan Shaqiri
Penalty shout for Bayern! Shaqiri does down inside the area but the referee gives a free kick to Leverkusen and books the Swiss for diving! That did look like a good decision!
Arjen Robeen does indeed enter the fray. The Dutchman replaces Luis Gustavo.
Kiessling passes up a great chance! Schurrle gets to the byline and lobs a cross to the back post for his team-mate but the striker heads the ball into the ground and Neuer jumps to easily collect. He should have done better with that!
Yellow Card Mario Mandzukic
We have a shot of Arjen Robben warming up in the dugout. Heyneckes has had enough.
Free kick to Leverkusen in a decent area inside the Bayern half after a foul committed by Mandzukic. The Croatian is booked for his protests.
What a strike from Boateng! The German international picks up the ball around 30 yards from goal and rifles a shot towards the bottom corner but it is palmed round the post by Leno! Great shot, great save.
A small break in play at the moment as Kiessling is currently down. He appeared to back in to Boateng and is down holding his head. And the Oscar goes to...
Shaqiri has received the ball a couple of times on the left-hand side in the past few minutes and has put in some decent deliveries into the area. Looks like a good substitution from Heyneckes.
Great block from Wollscheid! Shaqiri powers forward and reverses a pass into the area for Kross who attempts to lash a shot on goal but the Leverkusen man is there to deflect the ball out for a corner.
A change to report at half time as Xherdan Shaqiri comes on to replace Badstuber. The Swiss will go to left-wing and David Alaba will retreat to left-back.
WE ARE BACK UNDERWAY IN MUNICH.
Bayern have been completely on top so far but Leverkusen have provided a suckerpunch and went ahead courtesy of a goal from Stefan Kiessling. The Bavarians' perfect record so far in the league is under serious threat! Join us in 15 minutes for the second half!
HALF TIME IN THE ALLIANZ ARENA.
Well the Allianz Arena crowd are getting very frustrated now. Their team have been so dominant yet they find themselves behind. You have to wonder whether Heyneckes will make some changes at the break.
Assist Andre Schürrle
Goal Stefan Kießling
GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAL FOR LEVERKUSEN!! The hosts go ahead out of nowhere! A pacey counterattack sees the ball reach Schurrle just to the right of goal who picks out Kiessling at the back post for an easy tap in! 1-0!
Not a lot of pretty football being played at the moment. The slick surface is making a lot of players overrun the ball.
Fantastic challenge from Boateng. Schurrle drives through the middle at pace and looks to release Castro down the left but the Bayern defender comes in with a perfectly timed challenge to rob the ball.
The home side just looking a little disjointed in attack now. There have been a few misunderstandings in the final third and the crowd are getting slightly unsettled.
Bayern have let the pace slip slightly in the past few minutes. There was plenty of intensity in their opening play but the game is being played at a slower tempo now. Leverkusen looking more comfortable.
Great hand from Neuer!! Carvajal whips a brilliant cross into the six yard box and the Bayern goalkeeper tips the ball away just as it looked destined for the head of Kiessling!
Muller and Alaba link up down the right-hand side with a clever one-two. The ball eventually finds its way to Kroos down the flank but play is stopped as the German was offside.
Leverkusen have a goal disallowed! Kiessling finishes excellently into the bottom corner but the referee gives a free kick for a foul on Dante!! Ohhh that looked harsh! Bayern let off the hook!
Leverkusen's gameplan is there for all to see. They are sitting very deep in their own half and are set up to counterattack at pace. The defensive side of the plan is working at the moment as they are frustrating the hosts.
Yellow Card Dante
Dante receives the first Bayern booking of the match after absolutely taking out Kiessling with a shoulder barge down the left wing. A well deserved yellow card.
Leverkusen make a rare break into the Bayern half. A ball is played over the top of the home defence for Castro but he just can't stretch out his leg to take the ball down. He would have been through on goal had he managed to collect possession.
Slight penalty shout for Bayern. Carvajal risks the wrath of the referee again and gives Alaba a shove in the back inside the area. The official waves play on. Probably the right decision as there wasn't much contact.
Lahm drives down the right-hand side and reverses a pass inside to Muller who attempts to smash a shot at goal but Reinhartz makes a great block inside the box and clears the ball to safety.
Alaba heads just wide!! Thomas Muller gets to the byline and a scramble ensues before Lahm clips the ball back into the danger area. Alaba attempts to glance the ball into the top corner but it goes just by the post.
Great save by Leno! Badstuber whips in a fantastic cross to the back post and Mandzukic rises high to power a header to the bottom corner but the Leverkusen goalkeeper gets down to get his body behind the ball!
Castro picks up the ball 25 yards from goals and drives at pace towards the Bayern defence. It looked a dangerous run but as he came into the box the ball clips his heel and bounces away from danger. Unlucky from the Leverkusen man.
Bayern continue to probe for the opening goal. The Bavarians are having a lot of possession at the moment but no real golden goalscoring chances yet. Leverkusen holding out for the time being.
Yellow Card Daniel Carvajal
Early yellow card and the first of the match for Leverkusen. Carvajal goes in very late on David Alaba near the corner flag. A very silly challenge as the Bayern man was going nowhere. He'll have to be careful now.
Bayern are making their intentions known early on here. They are pressing Leverkusen high up the park and are not allowing them any time to move the ball around at the back.
Kroos goes close!! Muller finds space on the right and lashes a cross into the box for his team-mate who cleverly flicks the ball with his heel to the back post but it goes a whisker wide of the goal!
Some early seasonal snow is being peppered across the park at the moment so it should make for a very slick surface on the pitch. Who will this favour?
WE ARE UNDERWAY AT THE ALLIANZ!
The players have took to the field now. Just a minute or so from kick-off now!
The last time the Werkself claimed all three points at the away to Bayern was on matchday 14 of the 1989-1990 season.
Bayer Leverkusen are currently on an eight-match unbeaten run in all competitions, but have drawn three of the five Bundesliga games in that run.
The Bavarians won this fixture last season 3-0, with Thomas Muller, Daniel Van Buyten and Arjen Robben grabbing the goals.
Bayern Munich have conceded just twice in the Bundesliga this season. The last time an opponent scored against Manuel Neuer in Germany was on September 15.
Lets get some stats in before the kick-off!
This is how Leverkusen will be lining up today: Leno; Carvajal, Wollscheid, Toprak, Hosogai; Rolfes; Reinhartz, Bender; Schurrle, Castro, Kiessling
This is the starting XI of Bayern: Neuer; Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Badstuber; Schweinsteiger, Gustavo; Muller, Kroos, Alaba; Mandzukic
THE TEAMS ARE IN.
I'm Martin Macdonald, and I'll be taking you through the action this afternoon! Lets hope we have a match with plenty of entertainment and goals today!
