The keeper did not have a save to make in the first half as Barca lacked penetration in the final third. He coped with whatever else was thrown at him, including beating Pique to a second-half cross to ensure a clean sheet.
A competent performance in the heart of defence from the Germany international. He read the play well and positioned himself impressively to help make sure that Barca did not take an away goal back to Camp Nou.
Kept a close watch on Pedro and ensured that the Spaniard had little luck when racing him to the byeline. He was extremely energetic and this showed as his late overlap set Muller in for his second of the night.
The Brazilian centre-back was dominant aerially at both ends. He always provided a threat in the opposing penalty area and his knock down assisted Muller for the opener. He played the ball out from the back superbly.
Frequently provided an option on the overlap whenever Robben cut inside on the right. He judged when to get forward well while keeping a lid on Alexis and keeping things tight at the other end.
Displayed his impressive vision and distribution in midfield as he orchestrated the Bayern play from deep. He refused to hesitate on the ball and sent his team on the break quickly, though he was capable of slowing the play when needed.
The Dutchman put in a brilliant all-round performance. He should have scored in the second minute but, after playing a role in the opener, wrapped up the game with his side's third. Some excellent defensive work did not go unnoticed either.
An imperious display in midfield from the Spaniard. He consistently hounded the Barca players when they had possession and broke apart the play impressively. Also got forward at speed on to aid the counterattack.
Did not get enough of an opportunity to run at the opposing defence but he still exerted an influence on the game by tracking back when Alves broke forward. His high work-rate helped contribute to Bayern's clean sheet.
A sublime outing as he cropped up in dangerous areas behind the striker all evening. He ended the game with two goals after finding space in the area for a pair of simple finishes. He also set up Gomez for the Bavarians' second.
Lacked the pace to worry the opposition when Bayern broke at speed showed his striker's instinct to sweep home his side's second early in the second half. He pressed incessantly to form the first line of defence.
Did well to keep out Robben's second-minute effort by positioning himself well at his near post. He could not quite keep out Muller's opener but stopped the German from adding a fifth with a good save in the closing stages.
Failed to make the grade in the biggest match of his career to date. He did not get tight enough to the Bayern players as they ran through the channels and he was also guilty of giving the ball away too easily.
The Brazilian was relentless in his desire to get forward and spark a move that would get his team in behind. He played some quality passes but his aerial ineptitude saw him beaten to headers in the build up to both goals.
Was unable to provide the organisation needed in the Blaugrana defence. He left Bartra isolated and was left with too much to do when defending set pieces and was out of position on both goals.
The left-back had to rely on his electric pace to bail himself out a number of times. He could not get forward himself frequently enough and was beaten by a Robben stepover ahead of the third goal.
Saw plenty of the ball in the centre of midfield and provided a calm, collected head when in possession. He had plenty of touches though the majority came in areas far to deep to threaten the Bavarians.
Put in a lot of effort to get back behind the ball and help his team defend against Ribery and Alaba in the first half. At the other end he was far from impressive, giving the ball away cheaply and failing to threaten in the wide areas.
Offered an out ball to his team-mates when they moved up the field and was always availabale. He fed his team-mates well and helped break apart the play when Bayern slowed the play down.
Again, Iniesta saw plenty of the ball but was unable to help provide his team with much penetration. He used the ball efficiently and improved in the second half as he tried to add an injection of pace into the Barca attack.
A disappointing evening for the Argentine superstar as signs of a lack of sharpness following injury were clearly evident. He dropped too deep to get the ball and could not provide the attacking thrust needed by his team.
The Chilean was pressed quickly whenever he received the ball and thus could not get at the Bayern defence. He was ineffectual as he offered very little movement to try and stretch the opposition and get in behind.
Came on for Gomez in the 71st minute and added some solidity to Bayern's midfield during Barca's most dangerous spell.
Brought on in place of Ribery in the 89th minute.
Replaced Muller in the 83rd minute but did not have time to make an influence on the game.
