Full time in Camp Nou. A vintage performance from Barcelona sees the Catalan side earn a 5-0 victory over Mallorca in La Liga. The hosts were without Lionel Messi tonight, but the other attackers stepped up as Cesc netted a terrific hat-trick and Alexus Sanchez bagged a double. Andres Iniesta was imperious before being substituted but it was a pretty dour performance from Mallorca. They are in trouble. I'm Martin Macdonald, thank you for joining us on Goal.com! See you next time!
2 minutes of added time...
Mallorca will be pretty grateful that the scoreline isn't bigger in favour of Barca here. To be fair, the hosts have really took their foot off the gas in the last half hour of the match.
It looks like Barcelona are going to have to go down to 10 men here. Alexis Sanchez has picked up a knock on his right ankle and he won't be able to continue.
Good defending from Kevin in the end. Dani Alves scoops the ball up and over the Mallorca defender and Tello looks poised to smash a cross into the box, but the left-back does well to get back and shield the ball out for a goal kick.
We've seen a couple of flashes from Gerard Deulofeu so far down the right-hand side. He's certainly displayed some rapid pace down the flank, but his final ball has just lacked a little quality.
Barca just patiently knocking the ball around now. They aren't too bothered about going for the sixth goal here.
ALFARO!!! Ohhh that was inches wide!! The Mallorca man spins quickly and sets the ball on his right foot before rifling a shot towards the top corner, but his attempt deflects off the back of Bartra before flashing by the post!
Yellow CardAlexis Sánchez
DANI ALVES!! What a goal that would have been! A corner comes in from the left-hand side and Mallorca clear the ball to 30 yards out where the Brazilian is waiting. He smashes a superb volley at goal but it whizzes just past the post! Terrific technique!
First Barca booking of the match goes to Alexis. The Chilean goes in pretty late on Marti inside the Barca half and earns himself a place in the book. Deserved yellow card.
@Usefuljossy writes on Twitter: "The tempo of the match has slowed down since Iniesta was substituted off"- Definitely, do Barca perhaps feel a little sorry for Mallorca here?
It's the moment the Camp Nou have been waiting for. Eric Abidal has been introduced in place of Gerard Pique. It was goosebumps inducing when the Frenchman came on the park, absolutely fantastic to see.
Again no takers for Mallorca!! Alfaro gets beyond Dani Alves down the left and drives a cross along the six yard box, but Barca easily manage to mop up at the back post.
Second change of the match for Barca, and it's an exciting one. Hat-trick hero Cesc Fabregas is replaced by Barcelona B star, Gerard Deulofeu.
GERARD PIQUE!! He should score! Tello curls a cracking cross in to the near post and the defender burst a gut to get in the middle before sending his header over the bar. He wasn't under any pressure and should have got an attempt on target!
Bartra gives us a glimpse of his passing range as he picks up the ball just before the halfway line and clips a superb pass over the top of the defence for Tello, who takes the ball down with ease before checking back and passing inside to Thiago.
A massive eruption of applause comes out of the Camp Nou stand as the Barca faithful get a view of Eric Abidal warming up. If the Frenchman comes on be sure to cover your ears, the cheers will be deafening!
Tello!! The 21-year-old latches on to a pass down the left and typically cuts inside before whipping a shot to the far post, but it goes just a fraction wide. Unlucky.
@RawieElnur writes on Twitter: "Disappointed to see Iniesta get subbed off. Great captain, was playing beautiful. Predicting a 7-0 or 8-0."- His movement and touch on the ball is just glorious to see. The game is less bright without him!
The important thing that Mallorca need to remember is that they can still avoid a real hiding here. There's plenty of time to get a couple of goals and restore some pride.
Can't help but thinking Vilanova has been a bit of a spoilsport! Iniesta has been a joy to watch in this game!
Early second half change from Barcelona. Tito introduces Jonathan dos Santos in place on Andres Iniesta. The Mexican joins his brother, Giovani, on the pitch.

Important touch from Hutton! Dani Alves gallops down the right and floats a cross to the back post, which Tello looks poised to head home, but the on-loan Aston Villa man turns the ball out for a corner.
Terrific block from Bartra! Dos Santos cuts inside from the right and looks to pick a shot into the far corner but the Barca defender recovers well to get the tackle in and send the ball out for a corner.

Half time in Camp Nou. Barcelona have been absolutely sensational so far. Two assists and two goals each for Cesc and Alexis as the duo tear up the Mallorca defence. You fear the worst for the Islanders as we approach the second half. Join us in 15 minutes for the second period!
GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAL FOR BARCELONA! This is unbelievable!! The Catalans score in the first minute of the second period! Iniesta feeds the ball into Cesc, who cleverly sells Kevin Garcia into the challenge before nonchalantly finishing into the corner. 5-0 and only 46 minutes gone!
We are back under way at Camp Nou!
@sweetYESU writes on Twitter: "Fabregas, Alexis and Tello are not taking their chances. Villa should be introduce at half time."- What game are you watching?!
@H18Khan writes on Twitter:"Iniesta is really playing like a captain! With such plays and passes, I wouldn't be surprised if he scores a goal or two!"- He certainly deserves one, he has been fantastic in this first half!
Mallorca need to get their act together, and quick. Barca look as if they are going to score any time they get into the opposition half.
What a first half this has been for Barcelona. Mallorca have absolutely imploded since going 1-0 down. You'd be naive to think the goalscoring had finished, too!
GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAL FOR BARCELONA!!! THIS.IS.SENSATIONAL!!! Cesc drops deep and clips a pin-point pass over the top of the Mallorca defence for Alexis, who takes a glorious first touch before stabbing home into the bottom corner! 4-0!
GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAL FOR BARCELONA!! LIQUID FOOTBALL! Cesc exchanges yet another one-two with Alexis and doesn't even need to take a touch when he receives the return pass! Instead he just coolly slots into the bottom left corner! Wonderful!
ALFARO!!! A superb chance goes begging!! Hutton clips a cross to the back post and the striker sends a header back a cross goal and wide of the post. He should have hit the target there but there was no conviction in the header!
HEMED!! Ohhh that was just a foot or two wide! The Israeli shifts the ball on to his left foot on the edge of the box before lashing a shot at the bottom corner, but it just goes the wrong side of the post!
ALEXIS MUST SCORE!! How has he missed that?! Tello does brilliantly to skip past Alan Hutton before fizzing a cross to the back post. The Chilean looked destined to score from a coupe of yards out but instead cushions the ball away from goal!
Terrific challenge from Bartra! Dos Santos evades a couple of challenges on the edge of the box and looks to send a strike at goal, but the Barca academy graduate comes in with a perfectly-timed tackle to win the ball back and send the hosts up the park with a counterattack.
Great save from Aouate after some scintillating plat fro Iniesta! The Barca man received the ball to feet from Cesc and glided into the area before cutting inside and curling an attempt to the far corner, but the Mallorca goalkeeper stretched out a hand to make the save.
Penalty shout for Mallorca!! A corner kick is floated in and Nunes appears to smash the ball off the elbow of Thiago, but the ref waves play on! Probably a fair decision as it was only a yard or so away!
That really is a sucker punch for the Islanders. They were certainly competing with Barca and had showed some elements of danger up top, but they now find themselves two behind with a massive mountain to climb.
Mallorca have failed to keep a clean sheet in the La Liga since late September! The awful run continues!
GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAL FOR BARCELONA!!! Two in less that two minutes for the Catalans! Cesc finds space inside the box ans rattles a strike at goal that is palmed away by Aouate, but Alexis is on hand to smash home into the roof of the net to make it 2-0!
GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAL FOR BARCELONA!!! Lovely play from the hosts!! Cesc receives the ball to feet and exchanges a neat one-two with Alexis Sanchez on the edge of the box before taking a touch and nestling a finish into the corner! 1-0!
No takers for Mallorca!! Hemed holds the ball up with strength on the edge of the box and slides a lovely pass to the right for Dos Santos, who drives forward and reverses a cross to the back post. It was begging to be smashed home but there were no white shirts there to take up the opportunity!
FABREGAS!! The former Arsenal man picks up the ball 25 yards out and rifles a strike at goal, but Aouate once again remains solid to make the save. I think Cesc was just testing the 'keeper's gloves with that one!
Superb again from Iniesta. The Barcelona captain, as well as driving forward creating play, has continually tracked back and won the ball back just when Mallorca looked to counterattack.
Interestingly, there is quite a bit of space in between the Mallorca defence and midfield. You would feel that Messi would have been right in that pocket creating play if he was featuring tonight.
Unlucky Iniesta!! The World Cup winner skips round the challenge of Tissone before attempting a threaded pass through the middle to Cesc! Nunes, in the nick of time, manages to clear the ball up the park.
Barca have made the better start and are, naturally, dominating possession. But Mallorca are looking confident on the ball out there.
Alves tries his luck from distance. The Brazilian hits a signature free kick towards goal from 30 yards but it's straight down the throat of Aouate, who comfortably saves.
A break in play at the moment as Nsue is currently down injured. The Mallorca attacker slammed to the floor by Thiago who was going up for a header. It looks like he'll be okay but there's some blood showing! He may need a new strip.
TELLO!!! Terrific play from Barca! Thiago finds his team mate to the left of the box with a fantastic pass with the outside of the right foot, but the eventual shot if bravely blocked by Mallorca!
Good link-up play between Kevin and Alfaro down the left-hand side. The former whips a cross into the near post and the ball wickedly deflects over Pinto. Luckily for the Barca 'keeper, it goes over the bar and hits the top of the net.
We are under way! It's top versus bottom in the Spanish Primera Division!
The teams are out on the Camp Nou pitch and we are just a couple of moments from kick off now!
A massive boost for Barcelona is the return to La Liga duty for Tito Vilanova. The head coach returned to the dugout for the match against PSG earlier this week, but is back in Camp Nou tonight. Nice to see!
Only bottom club Deportivo La Coruna (61) have conceded more goals in the Primera Division this season than Mallorca's 58.
Barcelona are on a 10-match winning run at home in La Liga and the Islanders have lost five of their last six away matches in La Liga.
The stats don't make particularly good reading for Mallorca!

The highest profile absentee for the Blaugrana is, ofcourse, Lionel Messi, who misses the match against Mallorca tonight due to a hamstring strain.
Barcelona face PSG in the Champions League this week, and it appears that Tito Vilanova has opted to rest a few players before the European clash.
Mallorca (4-4-2): Aouate; Hutton, Nunes, Bigas, Kevin; Pina, Tissone, Nsue, Alfaro; Dos Santos, Hemed
Barcelona (4-3-3): Pinto; Alves, Pique, Bartra, Montoya; Thiago, Song, Iniesta; Alexis, Cesc, Tello
